Went there expecting it to be as good as Fort Worth's Texas de Brazil. It was not! Salad bar had about half the items & the meat selections were not nearly as good as Ft Worth. Seated promptly but after the waiter brought our drinks & rolls never saw him again. Bus boy picked up plates & refilled our drinks. Offered more rolls but they never came. This time we only ordered the salad bar, it is amazing and several options to choose from, bacon volcano is really good. I wish there was just some plain fruit to pick from so not have to take all the strawberries or blueberries out of a salad. Service is good but can be a tad awkward when they just hover over you when you don't need anything constantly when the meat option wasn't ordered. One of the best restaurants in Waco. $$$ yes but the food from the salad bar to dessert is excellent quality. Certainly the multiple meat choices are all very good but the salad bar is the best in Waco. The staff is well trained and has improved each time I have visited. The wine selections are excellent and varied. The bar is well stocked and served in a comfortable section of the restaurant that is great for conversation. I know it was opening week and a lot of set backs will happen. We felt bad for our server who was stressed and overwhelmed. After 15 mins I had to get someone's attention to get drinks and started on our meal order. The food was overcooked, even when asked for medium rare. The salad bar was a bit small and disappointing. Beautiful Atmosphere, but Pure Chaos Beyond That I was genuinely excited to try this place, as I'd never experienced anything like it before. I booked online due to how busy they seemed, and when we arrived, the atmosphere did not disappoint. It was beautiful, and our party of three was seated even before our reservation time. The bathrooms were very clean, and the food presentation was top-notch--those were the highlights. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell apart quickly. We were seated outside at a dirty table, which took several minutes to be cleaned after we sat down. After that, we waited another five minutes before anyone acknowledged us. When someone finally approached, they asked if we'd been helped. When we said no, they told us to hold on and returned scattered and distracted, talking to us while carrying on other conversations with nearby servers and guests. We were completely confused about how the dining experience was supposed to work. We never received silverware or plates initially. Drinks were delayed, and my husband's drink was forgotten--then doubled due to the lack of communication. The salad bar itself was beautiful, with great options, but the atmosphere was chaotic and overwhelming. We didn't receive proper plates for the meats, so they ended up placing them on our salad plates. We never received knives and had to get up and find them ourselves. The entire staff, including the managers, seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Our server was constantly interrupted by others shoving POS machines at him while he was trying to help us, and it was clear no one had a handle on what was going on. The disarray was so anxiety-inducing we ultimately got up and left. I understand they're newly opened, but this level of chaos is unacceptable. I might return once they work out the kinks, but for now, it was simply too stressful of an experience. read more

This Casa do Brasil is a Brazilian steakhouse in the same way Outback Steakhouse is an Australian steakhouse. Casa do Brasil is an imitation. There is no one from Brazil there! Not a cook, not a waitress, not even the Manager Francisco has ever been to Brazil, and it shows. The ambiance is spot on, the restrooms are spotless, the buffet spread is comparable to a Fogo do Chão- another tourist centric steakhouse. But the Picanhã is under-salted, the gauchos, (the waits staff serving the lamb chops, Filé Mignon, etc) dont know how to cut the meat before putting it on your plate. As a Brazilian, I sipped the accurate caipirinha and closed my eyes and could picture a great churrascaria- Jardinheira in São Paulo, Brazil. Eventually, Id have to open my eyes and realize the truth, I just payed the same price as my favorite Brazilian Churrascaria and received the empty and soulless Six Flags Amusement Park recreation of it. read more

Not your typical Waco restaurant. Felt like Dallas Or Houston. Beautiful, delicious...the full "experience" is a little pricey but worth it. However there are many dining options. Not perfect but you can tell they're still training people. Impressive bar! Only complaint is you can't take home your leftovers (at least not from the "experience") so I had to walk away from and waste food which is not my thing. There must be a solution to tasting 15 proteins and being able to take a few morsels home vs people taking advantage and trying to get home with a side of beef. The food was exceptionally good--on par with the best Brazilian steakhouses I've ever been to. The picanha is especially delicious (as you'd expect). But the most wonderful aspect is how kid-friendly the restaurant is. My daughters, being 4, ate for free. Their drinks came in high-quality kids' cups. The chef made special french fries for them for free, just to be extra-nice. I strongly recommend this establishment for families with young kids. read more

First of all the service was top notch. You never had to wait for your next round of sliced beef, shrimp, sausage, or chicken. I'm not a sausage fan so I passed on it, but my son- in- law said it was delicious. My daughter enjoyed the filet, toop too sirloin and the rib eye. The shrimp and chicken was also delicious. And told me to call my bank and dispute it. That is not good service at all. We have been loyal customers, and did not expect them to do absolutely nothing for us. That was their fault that we got double charged. And now I have to go through my bank and dispute a charge that was not my fault at all. Horrible experience. read more

We treated ourselves to the whole experience, and I'm glad we did. Every bite of beef, shrimp, lamb, chicken, and sausage was flavorful, well seasoned, and authentically Brazilian. I paid for the full experience but never received the full experience... only sides received was the caramelized bananas... my friend ordered the lemonade took forever to come out and was never asked if she wanted a refill.. we also asked for water with lemons only received water... No organization the servers kept running into each other.. the meat overcooked and dry.. was not offered any kind of sauce... the salad bar small few selections to pick from.. the bacon on the salad bar was about the only delicious item I enjoyed.... for the amount of money we paid we should have had great service and food... the one here is a waste of money.. read more

Mid Ambiance, bad food and even worse service. This place seems like it was made by someone who went to a Brazilian steakhouse one time and thought they can do it themselves. I payed 180 dollars for 2 people. The lamb tasted like fish and it grossed me out. They have so many employees running around doing absolutely nothing. It was actually pretty funny and entertaining how bad the service was like we were making jokes and placing bets on how many times we would have to ask for something before we actually got it.
