I received a very responsive email from James for upholstery cleaning on 4 pieces of Furniture. They were in rough shape. He scheduled on Thursday for Saturday morning. Valley Carpet Cleaners is top notch, friendly and most importantly honest. I've never needed a carpet cleaned before but I bought a really nice but used area rug and wanted to get it cleaned without spending too much more money on it. I saw they were recommended a lot on next-door so I gave them a shot. The owner James answered the phone immediately and was very accommodating offering different suggestions on how to achieve what I was looking for. He wasn't trying to sell me on what benefitted him or his business, he wanted to make sure I got what I was looking for, so he put the customer first which sadly is rare these days. The have a mobile service too which I originally wanted to use because I work full-time and didn't know how I would get it to their location in Chatsworth, but he offered to pick it up and drop it off at no charge. I ended up dropping it off anyway because I don't live super close and they had it done within a couple days and delivered back to my house. The area rug looked brand new! Had these guys out to clean and shine my wood floors prior to a home sale. They also cleaned the kitchen floor tiles. Wood floors came out beautifully. Kitchen floor tiles were a disappointment. After adopting an 8-week old puppy who is now 8-months old, all of the floors and upholstery in our house were long overdue for a deep cleaning. I initially contacted Valley Carpet Cleaning to inquire about cleaning a 10x14 area rug that was borderline non salvageable; between the puppy and also dogs prior, this poor area rug had been through a lot of abuse. It was heavily soiled from pet stains, but they assured me they could bring it back to life. Fast forward to the reveal after they cleaned it and brought it back: it was unrecognizable! After Valley Carpet Cleaning did their magic, there was no evidence that our dogs had put the rug through the wringer. The results from the rug cleaning exceeded my expectations. When they returned the rug, they also cleaned all of our carpets, bathroom tile and hardwood floors and sofas--and also took away another rug to clean. Everything they cleaned has been transformed. I had them clean my car and 3 rooms. The person who came was Luis, he was very nice and during a time like COVID, wearing his mask which I appreciated. Very nice guy. Embarrassingly, the three rooms were pretty bad and I had previously had someone else come do a cleaning and he said the stains were permanent so I assumed for this cleaning the stains wouldn't come off. The stains are gone! YAY! The stain ranged from teenager regular food stains that were there for YEARS, a little of flooding from the apartment next door and well some other stains that I'm not sure where they came from .... anyways they're gone! During my master bath remodel the contractor taped a paper pathway in the bedroom to protect the carpet. Unfortunately, they used masking tape instead of blue painter's tape to secure the paper during 10 weeks of construction. When the paper was finally removed the masking tape glue clung to the carpet. I described my problem on Yelp and Valley Carpet was the only response. Luis came to my condo and explained how he would remove the glue until I was confident in his approach. The carpet looks like new and I intend to use these folks for furniture and carpet cleaning in the future. Luis was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He also has a good sense of humor!
