I just wanted to give a huge shout out. To Valley Christian Academy Moreno Valley. My three kids grew up there from pre-k thru 8th grade. I have to honestly say that. The academics was amazing and due to the Love and life of Jesus taught to them... They truly " hid the Word in their hearts" as the bible tells us to. Honestly I could go on and on, but, I wanted to really wanted to share this: my grandson is 3 1/2 yes old. We weren't sure how he was gonna do in school.Because he is a bit rambunctious... Very much an active boy... But he is absolutely loving, loving loving it!! As a grandma.. I asked my son... So when did what do you have to say about his teachers... Is he enjoying it them?Or what did he have to say about them.... my son replied to me, " i asked him if he liked his teachers and he said, NO! ..... I LOVE THEM! " this is a true story, and this just happened the other day....I Busted out laughing with a big smile on my face and heart and literally got goosebumps... Let me start by saying I am a mother and professional, I had 2 children that I gave birth in my older years and fortunate to be a stay-at-home work mom. I searched Riverside County for a small private school that embraced love for the Lord, love for my children, and academic excellence, I discovered Valley Christian Academy. I have 2 children both of whom are now in high school but each attended Valley Christian Academy. My daughter was at VCA from 1st to 8th Grade and graduated in June of 2022 and my son graduated in June of 2024. I am going to go down a quick list and give a brief overview of the teacher experience. Note: Throughout the years some of the staff has changed. Pre-K: Mrs. Sequiros and Mrs. Cruz: WE MISS YOU TWO!!!!!!: This dynamic duo allowed the introduction of educational games and fun. What I loved most was that they carefully inspected each child's lunch to ensure it was protein-health fueled and snack-efficient. My son was there every day for about 3 hours. Kindergarten: Mrs. Gray: Mrs. Gray was loving, unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to evaluate her teaching style because my son often cried to come home after 3 hours because he wanted to be with 'his mommy'. 1st grade: What I loved most about Mrs. Peacock's class was her sound and expertise ability to train the children on their alphabet and expand their learning abilities beyond their imagination; while still making every child feel as though they were a SUPERSTAR. 2nd Grade: Mrs. Harper: Mrs. Harper was my son's FAVORITE teacher, she attended his graduation and we anticipate seeing her at my son's high school graduation. Mrs. Harper's teaching style is simple and straightforward, all that needs to be done is to follow her direction and your child will surely succeed in her classroom. 3rd Grade: Mrs. Jones, AKA 'Mrs. J': Mrs. J is SUPER SUPER SUPER academically challenging in an excellent way. Mrs. 'J's' teaching method was fast-paced and unique, and I can assure you once your child takes a class from Mrs. J, they will already be talking about their futures. When your child graduates from Mrs. 'J's' class they will have a strong ability to read, write, and become mathematically efficient. Mrs. 'J' makes learning, fun, fun, and fun!!!!! 4th Grade: Mrs. Jones: Mrs. Jones has a very calming approach to teaching. Mrs. Jones is the type of teacher that if your child is not feeling well she will drop off a work assignment at your home. Mrs. Jones will go that extra mile. 5th Grade: Mrs. Mayer AKA 'THE MRS. MAYER': Mrs. Mayer commands respect and will respect you in return. There was no goofing around in her class whatsoever. Mrs. Mayer reminds me of an Army Captain, a Captain to whom every student's grade was earned. My daughter adored and loved Mrs. Mayer and did extremely well in her class. As for my son, he was a bit of a stinker, but they worked through it beautifully. For my son, Mrs. Mayer was more than a teacher but a disciplinarian who truly loved my son, whom she referred to as 'a leader'. 6th 7th & 8th: Mrs. Wong & Miss Michelle: You know those students that need help ALL the time, to the point where it is after school and the teacher needs to get home to their family, but they don't because you have a child or children in your class that need help on that last problem you assigned???? That teacher is Mrs. Wong, always there to make sure your child has a strong grasp on a subject matter, and if your child doesn't Mrs. Wong will let your child and you as the parent realize it, and then suggest several methods and ways that will lead to your child's academic improvement. Last but not least, Miss Michelle: Ok, she's the 'cool young teacher' all the kids love and want to hang out in her classroom anytime possible. Miss Michelle is charismatic and a good teacher, but also someone your child can lean on from-time-to time and when in need. My family is so grateful for this school. It is such a blessing to have not only a safe place for my daughter to thrive but a place where she can pray and learn about God. Her teacher Mrs. Justianini is so kind and you can tell she really loves what she does. For the past year my daughter has been going to Valley Christian Academy. Right away I could see a difference with her writing composition as well as memorizing songs and bible verses. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. My daughter has attended two public schools which she did not like and seemed afraid every time I dropped her off. Since going to VCA, I have seen a tremendous difference in my daughter's attitude towards school. She loves going to school! Even when I pick her up she wants to stay. Her teachers Mrs. Justiniani and Ms. Cedano are godsends. They are very patient, understanding and helpful when it comes to my daughter's learning. My daughter definitely loves her teachers and always talks about them. I couldn't be happier, not only does Mrs. Justiniani and Ms. Cedano make my daughter feel safe and secure, but me and my husband know without a doubt that our child is in a safe and loving learning environment. Me and my husband couldn't be happier! I love this school and trust the staff, especially her teachers with my child. This is a really good Christian school. My daughter is in Pre-K. Her teachers are very nice to her. She learns a lot from there. The whole school and church is like a big family. They teach Bible every day which is really important. I feel that my daughter is full of joy. read more

If you're looking for a Bible based Christian school, this is it! The teachers and staff truly walk with Christ. They are nurturing and loving! My grandchildren have been going here for several years. They excel in their academics. I volunteer regularly here and always feel welcome and appreciated. This school deserves a negative rating. Unfriendly staff. My son went here from kinder-2nd grade & will never step foot on this campus. He got bullied all of 2nd grade & threatened by a fellow class mate. When it was brought to the schools attention they did nothing. They do not do things biblically. The school informed our kids to suck it up with the bullying. They then went to mistreat our family afterwards by giving us all the cold shoulder after the parents stepped in. Do not recommend. This private school is cheap for a reason. There are far better private schools that cost a little more but definitely a loving, caring & welcoming environment. read more

My daughter Mila Is a student at Valley Christian academy. Mila is in Preschool and has attended Valley for a year. Mila loves going to school everyday. Her teacher is Ms. Justianini and she loves her teacher. Ms. Justianini is a sweet lady and genuinely cares about her students. Valley's class sizes are small and provide adequate individual attention. The Clovis-19 has kept Mila at home but Valley has done a good job of keeping Mila moving forward with her lessons. If I have any questions Nate in the front office is alway there to answer them and as far as I know he is there everyday. Mila can not wait to go back to school. My two children have spent an aggregate 20 years at VCA (two years of Pre-K - 8th for one child, two years of Pre-K - 6th for the other who is still enrolled for 7th grade in the upcoming year). I value quality education wherever it may be obtained, but the Christ-centered education delivered by the caring faculty of Valley Christian Academy helps to foster the spiritual foundation our world is lacking. VCA has partnered with me in ensuring my children are educated in all areas of academics with a biblical world view. I have spent the past two years home-schooling my daughter (after she graduated VCA). I have discovered that the knowledge she possesses at 16 far exceeds what I knew at that age. While I have always believed that education is a parent's job and school is a means to supplement that end, I could not have found a better partner in my children's education than Valley Christian Academy. read more

My step daughter is attending this school. They advertise that they are offering online learning during the pandemic. But they are not offering this for all students. She is forced to go to in person classes despite her parents wishes to have her attend online. They state " god will protect her". Teachers are not having the kids wear mask or social distance. Public school is much better. We would like to change her to public school however this school refuses to give a refund on tuition. The education they receive is not as good as public school. The education is more church based and compared to my children who attend public school they are further behind academically. They also do not offer any kind of extra curricular activities and class sizes are like 10 kids per class. So not a lot of social opportunities. Don't put your kids here. It's over priced and your children will be behind other students when they go to high school. And at this time will be in a class close together with students and teachers not wearing a mask or cleaning classrooms. Don't Do It! read more

My wife and I have been attending Valley Christian Church for some 30 years now and it has a very powerful Christian Ministry named "Valley Christian Academy". This Christian School's curriculum has always been and continues to be centered on a Bible based teaching. The teachers and staff truly walk with are Lord Jesus Christ. I have the privilege of performing the ongoing maintenance for the facility, which allows me to interface with both the teaching staff and students. I see a major difference in the aptitudes and mannerisms in all of the students that attend there, compared to other students in public schools. My wife and I also had the privilege to serve as judges for the School's Annual Science Fair this past year. We both were extremely impressed with the amount of work that each student invested into their Science Project. In addition each student was required to present an intelligent and verbal discussion regarding all of the different stages of their projects. Over the past years I have had the opportunity to meet and shake hands with some of the Alumni students. Each one of them were very thankful and appreciative of the teaching staff that guided and instructed them throughout their years at the Academy. When searching for a someone to trust someone with yours kids is hard, but valley Christian academy is warm and welcoming and I feel so confident and trusting that my son will get taken care of!
