You are unable to speak to anyone at the clinic. It all goes through this answering service and they are the only ones that can speak to the healthcare team at the clinic. I attempted to contact them on two different occasions and both times, I literally held for over two hours just to find out that it was noon and they had stepped out to lunch. After holding for 2 hours!!!!! They promised they would get someone to call me back that same afternoon. Two weeks went by and not a single call from them. We felt like a hamster in a wheel...going absolutely no where. Don't be fooled. This is your typical company that is not out to care about your well being. They are all about the bottom line number and have no interest in your health or your wellness. A simple question to be asked for a 95 year old patient. They simply do not care! Then you show up and they leave you waiting for hours before they attend to you...95 year old patients should not be left hanging. It was bad, it was awful, it was intolerable. Too mechanical in my opinion. They need to start getting rid of their answering service that does nothing! Good Doctors are hard to find in Laredo. If you find one, don't let him go. She has been through 2 knee breaks, 2 heart stints, and femur break with me. She was not the primary for those but she made her presence known with visits as my primary family doctor. I do not know the other two recommendors but one is from Austin and the other was from out of state and as far as I know Dr. Gonzalez practices in Laredo, Texas so I would not take those recommendations very highly. I would and have recommended her practice highly to friends and family. Dr. Gonzalez is the best and I have even changed my insurance when her contract with them was up. I have always been welcomed warmly in her office and the maximum wait I have experienced has been 1 hour, but in their defense, it was not an appointment.

Within the last few years my doctor prescribed me glasses so I went to a few places to check out some. Most of the places I went to frames that lacked appeal and were better suited for old people. Lol. The ones that didn't, had super high prices and the customer service sucked. They just wanted to make a sale so they could get commission. Then I stumbled upon this little location where my wife and I were greeted promptly after entering the store with a great big smile. The store employee name was DIANA. She listened to all our needs and provided wonderful selections. And she was patient as we tried on multiple frames so that we could narrow down the exact frames we loved. When we tried all frames in store she provided online options that were similar to what we loved about the ones offered in store and we were able to finally find pairs we loved. She not only helped me find glasses but also recommended the sunglasses with prescription so my eyes could also be protected during summer from harmful UV's while being able to see and I could still look stylish. She was not out to just make a dollar but truly cared about my experience as well as my wife. We ended up getting multiple glasses at an economically sound price. I would recommend her to anyone. She is such an asset to the company and a great person. I also cannot say enough good things about the prices visionworks offers because I know many people who pay much more for glasses using other companies and get far less in quality and value of products.
