After a handful of shockingly terrible experiences with Dr. Kothapalli, I'm finally going to write a review. My first appointment here was for a cleaning with Dr. Kothapalli. I gave her a heads up that I have terrible jaw pain (I have TMJ) and she held my mouth wide open poking around with no breaks for what felt like an eternity, and when I tried to ease up a bit just to get a little relief, she snapped on me to keep it open wide. Then when I came back for a filling, I experienced the most jaw-dropping encounter (no pun intended). She chiseled my tooth to where it was totally hollow, so she could do the filling. She stops, then shoves a mirror in my face and says "LOOK, SEE, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU EAT TOO MUCH SUGAR" as she shows me my completely OPEN tooth, complete with roots and gum exposed. Absolutely disgusting and inappropriate. I was on the keto diet at the time, and don't eat a lot of sugar actually. Now for the icing on the cake. I made an appointment for my husband which was for today at 9:00am (after they had to reschedule twice, but whatever). At 8:35 this morning, the office calls and says the doctor doesn't think she's going to come in this morning because her first appointment isn't until noon (um?), so he will need to go to the Aurora office instead at 3:00 today. By the way, when I made this appointment originally, I asked for the soonest available because it's a chipped tooth... pretty urgent, not just a cleaning. I guess she just wanted a nice morning at home, and we know by now she has no regard for other human beings. Needless to say, we're changing dentists. Just to reiterate, all issues we have had have been with Dr. Kothapalli as an individual. I know there is another Dr. practicing in this office, so go for him instead. read more

We have come here for all of my children's dental needs. The doctor is Amazing with kids. Appearently my youngest got a few small cavities because she likes to hold her juice in her mouth before swollowing, and they were able to calm her nerves and walk her through the fillings with amazing skill. The office is clean and the staff is friendly. I really like that they email me and remind me of my upcoming appointments (make sure that you confirm or they will cancel your appointment). read more

I was in dire need of immediate dental relief and being on a budget made it a lot more difficult. I know dental work is expensive but they'd only offer me the MOST expensive work or pull my tooth (still for more than I could afford -- I'd do it myself for that price. Not very empathetic or helpful. Cost a lot for them to write an antibiotic prescription and tell me I couldn't afford the work. I eventually found a very good dentist who was able to help me within my budget read more

We've been going there for awhile, but I've gotten quite put off by them. About a year ago, they had cancelled our appointments because I didn't respond to their text to confirm our appointments. 1. I had literally just made the appointments the day of the text, for appointments on the very next day. 2. They sent the text to the wrong phone number, I never even got the alleged text. I'm very upset with my visit today. I went in for a cavity, which they did not fix, but said I could come back in 2 weeks, after insisting that they couldn't fix my cavity without also getting a cleaning. I've never had a dentist tell me that before. My insurance covers fillings, does not cover cleanings..hence the reason it's been so long since I've been there. Ugh!! However, they would have had enough time to do mine, except they "squeezed" a little kid in right before my time slot..the kid needed a filling and a tooth pulled. Why? I don't know..he was too little to need a tooth pulled!! And the kid screamed and cried..they didn't nothing to calm the poor kid down, the mother was in hysterics, screaming at him telling him to calm down, that he was fine..when he was obviously scared shitless, not in pain (because they numbed him.) Her hysterics were probably what made him even more on edge..it got to the point where I told her from the next room to sing to him in order to calm him down. Yes Yes YES! Our visit here has THE BEST since moving here 12 years ago. All 4 of my girls are seen here and they all have had great experiences. I love the staff and the interactions they have with the children. From the front desk, to phones calls to us with reminders and to the dental assistants they all just know how to make your visit comfortable. Our dentist explains with clarity not to me as the parent but to the kids as well so that we all understand what's going to be done and while working they're explaining as well. I love the clarity of the conversations that's held with me and my girls. The clean look and feel of the office makes me feel comfortable to be In such a nice place. I think we've found our Solid Home for Dental Care. Thanks Dr. Samantha for having a love for others to be able to help keep our health in order and our teeth beautiful and healthy. read more

I brought my daughter here before. I wasn't entirely impressed but my daughter liked the dentist and since she is preschool age I thought I would continue to bring her since it's hit or miss with dentists and kids. I scheduled an appointment for her last week for today at noon. I received a confirmation call Saturday. Today 3 hours before the appointment I received another call saying I needed to come in at 11 instead because the dentist was leaving at noon. Unfortunately we are not in the area today and planned on being back around the noon appointment so that didn't work. No big deal I understand that things come up. However when I called back to reschedule the receptionist was impolite, unapologetic and not very flexible. Which is ironic because I'm not the one who changed the appointment in the first place. I kept trying to schedule a Thursday appointment when I kept telling her we could not do Thursdays. Oh and by the way, they close early on Mondays. Which I didn't mind but the receptionist made a point to make sure I know. Clearly someone has a bad case of the Mondays :) anyways, I was so turned off by the experience that I spent my morning looking for a new dentist for her and found one with lovely manners I should add. I feel like the day is too short to deal with negativity like that. If you can, go somewhere that will take the extra effort to appreciate the people that they are working with :) read more

Would give negative stars if I could. I received a call 3 days ahead of my appointment where they left a message confirming my appointment and they asked if I could call to update my insurance info. I called the next day and got an answering machine. Didn't want to leave my personal info on their answering machine I called back on the day of my appointment to give them the insurance info ahead of time. The girl who answered said my appointment was cancelled because I needed to give them the insurance info at least 3 days before the appointment so they can confirm it. When I asked why I wasn't told this, she said she didn't know, she doesn't normally work in that office. I asked to speak to someone who did and I got Tracy who said she had been leaving me messages all week (no, I received the one on Monday and a hang up the day of the appointment). She was rude and said sorry, that is our policy. They cancelled my apt and didn't even bother telling me. I asked her to cancel my husbands appointment and she had to ask me when it was! I cancelled my husband's appointment too due to their lack of customer service and will take my family's business elsewhere. Not worth giving money to a group who just doesn't care. read more
