I've only really gone here for their pharmacy to pick up antibiotics due to a really bad and really mucus-y infection or to get my COVID/flu and cold shot in the past. There's almost always a line at the pharmacy and I also had to wait a bit for any shots. They do their best, but again, large patient population and limited staff. But at least on the pharmacy side, staff is very polite and do their best to be efficient. Never really found any sale items or weird energy drinks or sodas that caught my eyes, but unless I really need something, Walgreens isn't my place to go.

The employees there are always nice and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience at this Walgreens location on 934 N.Hacienda Blvd. La Puente Ca was very disappointing. I placed an online pickup order a few days ago, and when I got home, I realized some of the items were not what I ordered. I came back the next day for an even exchange, but the customer service was very poor. The employee at the front seemed confused about my issue, so I had to explain it several times. Eventually, she asked the supervisor for help, but the supervisor immediately gave me attitude. There was also a long line, and no one tried to open another register to help customers waiting. When the manager name Crystal got involved, the attitude continued instead of trying to resolve the issue politely. It honestly felt like they did not want to help customers at all. There was no courtesy or professionalism, and the whole experience was frustrating and rude. I hope management looks into improving customer service at this location.

The next day I stopped in while at the hospital Nextdoor and asked the woman at the front with black hair if I could adjust the price. I'd only need to pay a few more dollars more to get the correct count and still receive the cashback offer. She just said , "OH , do you have a receipt?" I explained I'd bought it yesterday at this location and this is a simple fix. CVS is supposed to be customer service driven - what else are you doing here? Then she said she'd need to look up my account . Yes , that's literally your job. Another employee came over and started speaking to her in Spanish . I'm bilingual- I understand both Spanish and English but I choose English. Then I heard another worker scoff when she leaned what I wanted . First and last time at this location. I'll stick to the one located in Diamond Bar . It's 24 hours and the staff is actually pleasant.

We were here at about 3pm checking out and while she was helping a customer in front of us, he asked her for a bag and she replied "Well ten cents" so he started looking for change in his wallet. He took out a quarter and with a voice filled with attitude told the man who very clearly had trouble speaking English "How many do you want? I said ten cents" and he replied "Yes one bag" and so she proceeded to put his quarter back on the shelf and take a dime away from him. I get it, maybe it's easier to just get the dime instead of giving him change for a quarter but maybe he just didn't understand. No need to be rude! THEN - when we had room to put our stuff on the conveyor belt, I was waiting for a bar to separate our items and she literally THROWS the bar towards us on top of the conveyor belt instead of using the designated space to slide it down on. My mom and I just stared at each other in disbelief, had that just happened?? Whatever, we proceeded to put our items down and once it came time for her to scan our TV in our cart, she stood there with a scanner in hand and didn't say a word but expected us to somehow magically know we have to push our shopping cart around to her. Has this woman ever heard of speaking to customers to let them know what we need to do? Usually when we have big items in our carts the employee comes around and scans it but I guess that's too much work for her. Then, I was handing her my ID card for her to verify my age since I was purchasing alcohol and she completely ignored it so I put it away since she had already scanned the alcohol anyways. Someone tell me why this lady then pauses the whole transaction to stand there just staring at me. I'm confused now and don't say a word either since that's the attitude I'm receiving she can get it right back!! With an obvious anger in her tone, she says "ID???" so I give it to her AGAIN. What a horrible way to treat your customers. Why work in customer service if you can't provide a simple smile and a nice attitude?

Take a quick stop at the coupon machine and see what you may be eligible for. The shelves here are well stocked and items are presented well. You can get a wide variety of items here ranging from vitamins to milk. It's almost like a large convenience store. The pharmacy is located to the rear. On average there are two friendly people there to assist with pick ups. The line can get long so be patient. Overall this store does an excellent job of providing good customer service, average prices and the convenience of finding a wide variety of products. Parking is easy and the store is easy to navigate. I'll be back.

This location is bigger than most of the other 986 Pharmacies I've been to, and the employee who helped me was very kind and friendly. I called ahead to make sure my doctor had sent over my prescription, and she was nice enough to get everything processed quickly. By the time I arrived, all I had to do was verify my insurance and I was in and out in less than five minutes. The whole process was fast and smooth. I also like that they offer free delivery, which is really convenient for times when I can't make it to the pharmacy. Everything was efficient, and the staff made the experience easy. They even gave me a small goodie bag with things like tissues, popcorn, and cough drops, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The pharmacy is located in a plaza with Aldi and Planet Fitness nearby, so it's a convenient location as well. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely come back if I need prescriptions or vitamins in the future.
