Joann is such a rude employee!! Never have I met a person working in customer service with such a horrible attitude as hers. I have no idea how this woman is allowed to work in the front!!!!! We were here at about 3pm checking out and while she was helping a customer in front of us, he asked her for a bag and she replied "Well ten cents" so he started looking for change in his wallet. He took out a quarter and with a voice filled with attitude told the man who very clearly had trouble speaking English "How many do you want? I said ten cents" and he replied "Yes one bag" and so she proceeded to put his quarter back on the shelf and take a dime away from him. I get it, maybe it's easier to just get the dime instead of giving him change for a quarter but maybe he just didn't understand. No need to be rude! THEN - when we had room to put our stuff on the conveyor belt, I was waiting for a bar to separate our items and she literally THROWS the bar towards us on top of the conveyor belt instead of using the designated space to slide it down on. My mom and I just stared at each other in disbelief, had that just happened?? Whatever, we proceeded to put our items down and once it came time for her to scan our TV in our cart, she stood there with a scanner in hand and didn't say a word but expected us to somehow magically know we have to push our shopping cart around to her. Has this woman ever heard of speaking to customers to let them know what we need to do? Usually when we have big items in our carts the employee comes around and scans it but I guess that's too much work for her. Then, I was handing her my ID card for her to verify my age since I was purchasing alcohol and she completely ignored it so I put it away since she had already scanned the alcohol anyways. Someone tell me why this lady then pauses the whole transaction to stand there just staring at me. I'm confused now and don't say a word either since that's the attitude I'm receiving she can get it right back!! With an obvious anger in her tone, she says "ID???" so I give it to her AGAIN. What a horrible way to treat your customers. Why work in customer service if you can't provide a simple smile and a nice attitude? read more

I am a huge Walmart fan, and this is my favorite store of them all. This store is HUGE, ALWAYS fully stocked and clean, employees are helpful and friendly, and of course, prices are very affordable. If you can't find it here, you probably don't need it. The fruit and vegetable section always has a great, massive selection. There is nothing bad I can say about this store. read more

Service 2/5 From looking for an aisle and told its between this number and that number rather than walk you over. To their own website saying they have items in stock at lower prices but they won't price match. It's hard enough to find items in their "stated online location." Pricing 3/5 Low prices but you have to find things on your own. Felt as though the workers don't want to be here. As long as items are fully stocked you may be fine finding it. Beware the online price is not what you pay. I told the cashier the price of the item on the self, marked on sale and they go off the online price. 3.5/5 Parking Usually this parking lot is packed and it's in a large shopping center. I just encountered one of the most rude employees at the Service Desk. It was around 8:20 am. I greeted the employee and received a "what do you want" look. I had 3 online items to return, printed out barcodes and items in original packaging. She insisted that one of the items should have a plastic bag and cannot do a return. It never came in a plastic bag which I informed her and it had all the original tags, etc. I don't like to leave bad reviews but there is no reason a person should be so rude especially when working with the public. This review is for the bakery. If you need an affordable heart shaped vintage cake, this is the place at only $25! You have the option of either whipped icing or buttercream, personally I prefer the whipped icing because it compliments the cake better. The cake is moist and you can mix and match chocolate or vanilla. You also have the option to add a filling for an additional fee. I ordered the cake online and picked it up with ease. Service today 3/5 Greeter was friendly! But she was also the only person that said hi to me my entire 25 min shopping trip. I loved the fact that they have a very decent amount of frozen seafood like fish selections! Frozen lobster tails, Chilean sea bass! Ok Walmart! Sporting goods area is where I shop for fishing items. nancy acts as the receipt officer and will stop you and won't let you go unless you show her a receipt. my sister threw away her receipt because she didn't think we would be treated like a thief at the exit. i showed nancy my receipt and was about to walk out until she stopped my sister, and supposedly said that she didn't have proof of my receipt either when i clearly showed it to her not even a minute ago. she tells my sister and i quote "fetch your receipt for me." is she a dog to you? we asked her what happens if she can't find the receipt anymore, and all she could spit out was "she will". i told her she's not allowed to stop people without proof of stealing (or just to assume they're stealing) and to check the cameras for proof of accusing my family of stealing, she chooses to ignore me, refuses to answer my questions, and fiddles with her camera, as if trying to turn it off or something. i've heard she's received multiple warnings about this. other workers were kind and understanding to us, with one of them helping escort my family out. however, if she's been receiving tons of complaints about this, why hasn't it been resolved? we greatly appreciated the kind young man who helped walk us out, and the other worker who tried to help us reprint a receipt until they decided they'll help walk us. read more

Yikes! This Walmart makes you feel like a thief with their motorized entry points and militant receipt checking. Stock levels were good, but some product was sitting on the floor in the electronics section. Lots of parking as well. People seem to be aggressive about parking by the door. If you can walk an extra 100 feet, park towards the edges of the lot to avoid road raging drivers. Staff were hard to find and seemed annoyed to have customers. read more

The woman who works weekends in the beauty department is absolutely terrible at customer service. After I had went into Walmart today, I had went up to the woman working and had asked if she could get something out of the locked display case for me. After asking this, she did not respond and walked over with an annoyed look. When she got my item out of the case, I had asked her politely if I could please get it in a box. That is when she walked away from me, murmuring " can you put it in a box please , can you please but it in a box, " mocking my exact words I had asked her. After hearing this, I had said "excuse me," and she just ignored my response and gave me my item in a box all annoyed. Yes, I would get if she was having a bad day. VERY PACKED w/ DECENT STOCK. This Walmart has gone down slightly as its stock isn't as good as it used to be. I came in and they hardly had anything I needed. The focus of this Walmart seems to be clothing which wasn't even that great in my opinion. The shorts selection was very mid. I was also looking for specific groceries which were also limited. I appreciated this one young guy who was stocking. He was super helpful and took his time with us while attempting to locate our items. Other than that, the other staff weren't that helpful. I stop here out of convenience as it's right off the 10 in Baldwin park. It's my "only in emergencies" Walmart. There's plenty of parking out front. The store is spacious and lots to look at. However, at times the shelves are a mess, and workers couldn't care less about much of anything unless they want to use their so called "power" with attitude towards us customers. Sucks. Hello everyone. If you're ever in the city of Baldwin Park and like shopping at Walmart, may I suggest you go see Angel in the produce section he helped this senior citizen out tremendously even though he was busy working. Angel was very kind to go get plastic bags so I could I put my fruits and veggies from the back and brought some for me and everybody else that was shopping for groceries. Also there was this nice young lady I can't remember her name but she was very helpful and showed me where I might find Italian dressing. sadly, I can see why this has two stars. I was very inconveniently forced to go back after an error with curbside pick up. I was made to sign off on something and they ended up being out of stock when I had to go back they were clearly out of stock I don't know why the employee failed do his job correctly. I hate to say it because most of them are on point when it comes to that but the fact I had to go there and find out they didn't have it. I called customer service and they did not answer. I use a wheelchair they put these long poles on the electric carts where you can't take them to your car. I realize there's theft, and people steal the electric carts. But why doesn't management use some type of common sense. Here's a thought, use those walkie-talkies and say someone is taking the cart outside. Have an employee follow them, to their car. I drove to Baldwin Park to pick up my order. No open spots available. I understood that being a very busy weekend. People were waiting outside of their cars. Some had been waiting 40 minutes or more. I drove up at 1:20, and my pick up time was 12:00pm - 1:00 pm. I was so confused on how to check in, but the kind man did it for me! For the life of me, I couldn't get it to go, lol. I've read how mean these workers are, so I literally was scared to ask! The selection of patio umbrellas left a great deal to be desired, but a 9' turquoise one was with the others in the original fabric bag, so I purchased it along with several other items. I opened the umbrella the next day only to discover it was not only inoperable, but the fabric was faded, soiled, damaged and obviously returned by another consumer, yet replaced for resale, with new inventory! I called the store number on the receipt to speak to a Manager to see how this could be resolved. The automated system provides prompts, however no one responded or answered any of the appropriate categories and automatically disconnected the call. I tried this six times, so drove to the store. When I arrived, I asked to speak to a Manager ( Jennifer or Jeanette) told me to go to the exchange area. She offered no explanation of why a USED damaged item was sold to an unknowing consumer for full price. She wasn't slightly apologetic or concerned and void of any trace of professionalism. The clerk at the counter was helpful, however, I asked to speak to the supervisor in her department to determine what could be done to rectify the situation, as I had driven to the store twice, no one answers the number on the receipt and the manager was obviously perturbed that I had asked for assistance. I was told "there is store policy" regarding handling returned merchandise, so damaged goods wouldn't be resold, yet I wasn't provided with a LEGAL or reasonable explanation, let alone compensated in any way for wasting so much time and gas going back to that worthless store! The Supervisor in returns refused to appear at the front counter to speak to me. The clerk as apologetic and professional, so I can't fault her for having such lazy managers, but this is the absolute worst customer service I have encountered in years. It's a sad testament that so many long established, historic stores built on customer service are no longer in business, only for this overrated, mediocre, dirty, unorganized corporate big box predator to monopolize the market. Literally dirty, the ladies room was disgusting! I went home and ordered a new, better patio umbrella from another business for a discount that WAS DELIVERED IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS free of charge AND gave me additional store cash! The store employees and cashiers were friendly, professional and helpful; perhaps some of them should be promoted to manager and the person that's currently manager should be demoted and transferred to another store! I rarely write reviews. I went to this Walmart to return a Walmart.com order item. My return slip said take to any Walmart to return. They would not take it. They said to take to Fed-Ex they would not take it. I went back to Walmart , they would not take it and wanted to show me in writing THEIR policy. I went home and called Walmart.com customer service. They said that - that Walmart should have take it and just didn't want to bother with sending it back. I'm very upset with this store and their POLICY???
