He removed the hanging skin but before my surgery, he did not mark me or anything. I mentioned that i did not like my "dog ears" and he said, "well you look better than you did before!" and then scheduled me for a check up 4 months later. I scheduled an appointment for him to fix my dog ears ASAP! My incision scar is THICK and horrible and my belly button is right through a stretch mark. I wish I did more research and went to a REAL plastic surgeon. I will be going else where to have my stomach fixed, wish I could get my money back. I am currently 6MPO and I absolutely HATE my results.. My front sides still hangs over and i can pull at a lot of skin, above my belly button is still loose and i look pregnant because i did NOT receive muscle repair. Nothing can be fixed because I have posted negative HONEST reviews online. Oh well, I will go to someone with more experience on tummy tucks and revision!

He made a large ridge, scar, around my eye. I now was supposed to go back for another surgery, this time up thru my nose. After being cleared by my primary Dr. and an ENT Dr., I was set up for my surgery on the 28th. I went to. Joseph Hospital, went thru the registration and was sitting in the waiting room waiting for the nurse to take me back. My phone rang and it was Dryden's office and she told me that he had canceled my surgery. I went out to my car and decided to call back and ask for a reason for the cancellation. The receptionist at Dryden's office said it was due to"the covid". I explained that I had been cleared. She said she would call the Dr and get back to me. After a long wait and no call back I made the call and was told that the Dr. put me back on the schedule. I then went back into the Hospital and went up to the surgery lounge. The receptionist looked at her papers and told me it was cancelled. I told her the Dr. had rescheduled. She contacted the nurse for pre-surgery and she came out and told me she had just spoken with the Dr and he was not going to do my surgery. We live in Hereford,AZ which is a 2 hr drive. We of course got a hotel for 2 nights since we had to be there for a checkup. That cost was $220.00 . So, I made a 2hr drive, got a 2 day stay in motel and NO surgery. The Dr.(?) certainly could have and should have called prior to my trip there since he knew he was not going to do my surgery. If there even was a covid issue, there wasn't, he could have called and ordered a "rapid" test. This Dr.(?) needs to be brought up on total incompetency charges. I would like to see this happen.

Her opthalmologist contacted Dr. Duerksen to ask her to try to squeeze her in, and her office called me a day later to offer someone else's canceled slot the following week. In the interim, Dr. Duerksen already had contacted me directly to let me know that I could reach out to her with any questions about the procedure. Dr. Duerksen's office is comfortable and clean, and the staff is friendly. Yes, we had a bit of a wait past our appointment time to see her. But, Dr. Duerksen clearly takes her time with each patient. She built rapport, explained the procedure, made a facility recommendation (she uses more than one), and answered our questions. After mom got clearance from her primary care physician, we scheduled surgery for the next week. My mom got sick the day before surgery, so I contacted Dr. Duerksen's surgery scheduler, and she worked with me to get her back on the schedule. Right before the rescheduled surgery date, mom had another illness, and Dr. Duerksen's scheduler worked with me to get her back on the books again. Unfortunately, this illness progressed, and my mom passed before she could have the surgery. When I notified the office, the staff member I spoke to offered her sincere condolences. Then, three weeks later, right before mother's day, I received a handwritten note from Dr. Duerksen with her condolences and thoughts for me on my first Mother's Day without my mom. To her, patients and their families are more than a list of medical problems and medications. Her kindness to my elderly mother and me in all of our interactions, her team's flexibility in getting my mom scheduled/rescheduled, and her kindness/empathy after my mom passed speak to this.

After the surgery they called to collect on a bill I had paid almost 2 months earlier. The eye surgery was fine but I would go somewhere else. There were too many mistakes by her staff.

I also had a very bad experience with them and my teen daughter in the past. I ended up hanging up the phone and calling Tucson Dermatology on Carondelet. They scheduled me right away at the new Oro Valley location on Tangerine. The staff were super-friendly and welcoming. Dr. Eric Adelman was funny and professional. He had to remove something, and he did a very quick, professionally, and pain-free with obvious experience and skill. I highly recommend this place!

This level of professionalism was also seen while interacting with his office staff, including Patricia, Summer and Este! Communication from front desk, the office manager and Dr. Rao himself is exceptional! My results are incredible! I never could have imagined my "mommy make-over" looking this GOOD! Even with a history of breastfeeding two kids, my breasts are perky and the perfect size! Incisions are barely visible on my breasts and around the nipple. My abdominal scar is more noticeable but can be completely hidden beneath underwear or a swimsuit. I will continue to use scar tape to help the color fade over time. I went from a size 14 in jeans to a size 8. My belly went from fupa to flat and the 360 lipo helped create perfect curves! As expected, the first week involved lots of resting and small movements (with the help of my cheese pillow and a walker). Pain was manageable with RX pain meds in the beginning and then strictly Tylenol through week 4. Post-surgery, Dr. Rao would call and check in with my husband and I to be sure things were on track and I was recovering well. I am entering week 14 and my healing process continues to be going great! I had one small tear at the "T" point beneath my right breast. Dr. Rao monitored the area closely, coached me in how to change the dressing, answered all my questions and assured me it would close without needing additional sutures. All of this was true, the tear closed weeks ago, there was never any pain associated with it and there is zero additional scarring in the area. Aside from being a very common place for a tear due to pressure, I have small children and am very active. I think this may have played a role in creating the tear. I am ecstatic about my results and I am so grateful I chose Dr. Rao as my surgeon! I would recommend him and his staff over and over to others. I had my breast augmentation done over a month ago, and my results were amazing. He takes time to listen to your concerns and address all of your issues. Most of of all, he isn't reckless.
