Friendly service, clean comfortable spacious rooms, comfortable queen beds and showers, great value…read morefor the price. Kitchens and living rooms in each suite (studio, one-bedroom, or two bedroom), well-maintained grounds: two pools, one heated, one with waterfall, hot tub, shuffleboard and tennis courts, nice sitting areas inside or outside the hotel. Each suite is furnished differently by separate owners, but whether a studio, 1- or 2-bedroom, all come with a fully furnished kitchen right down to the dishes/flatware and spatulas, pots & pans, toaster and coffee maker. If traveling with a group, or for extended stays, there's comfortable sitting areas on each floor, a library with fireplace, and a laundry room on 2nd and 3rd floors (bring your own detergent). Best of all, the price is comparable to a common one-room motel room at other motels. You couldn't ask for a better bargain. We very much enjoyed our stay! Will stay again.

This time, I decided to stay at Mesquite, NV which is about 40 miles south of St. George or about 80 miles north of Las Vegas. Hotwire led me here as I like surprise:XD Upon walking in the lobby, my first impression was...is this the retirement home!? the interior has that old fashioned style, wide hallway with tiles instead carpet on the first floor, a library...etc I got suite #210, which is exactly like a one bedroom apartment with full sized kitchen, dining table, living room, bed room, walking in closet and a full sized bath. It's spacious! I assume this property was designed for assistant living and later changed to a hotel. It's freaking hot in Mesquite, NV even after the sun goes down. The air was still hot like inside the oven. The ac worked really well and of course this place is very quiet. The next morning, after checking out, I was on the way heading home. While pulling onto the 15 freeway I all the sudden remembered I left my charging cable in the room! Drove back from the next freeway exit, I told the front desk lady and she immediately made me a key to go up to the room to retrieve my cable. When I got there, the housekeeper was already outside and handed me my cable. If you are not looking for anything fancy, modern and elaborate, this is a good place! For clean, classic and awesome rate, I can see myself coming back for another good night sleep:) P.s there's no charging port on the bedside table, I had to unplug the alarm clock and that's how I forgot my cable :XD

After we checked in and got to the room, I realized that I had made a mistake in the booking of the room. There was no way my husband was going to be able to get his scooter into the room. I went to the front desk and explained to Lisa the problem and she was like "not a problem" and moved us to a handicap room that was Perfect for our needs. Thank You, Lisa, for listening and understanding. The hotel is pretty inside and out. The breakfast was very nice. There was waffle makers, hot oatmeal, eggs, yogurt, toast, bagels, sausage, juice, coffee just to name a few. :) There is a doggie relief area right out front with pick up bags and trash. It is not fenced though. The ONLY thing that I was NOT happy with is that they have two pride flags on the front desk. I found that very distasteful! The AMERICAN FLAG should Aways be displaced first! When I ask about why ~ I was told that because Jun is pride month. EVERY DAY IS AMERICAN FLAG DAY! Don't put one group over AMERICA'S, Vets, Service members that have paid the ultimate price for The American Flag! With that said ~ That is the reason that I did not rate my experience with 5 stars.

This motel had decent reviews on travel sites, and it's a Hilton property so we booked it, but this place is run down and not great at all. The only highlight was the breakfast lady being very nice and keeping the breakfast area clean (but the breakfasts aren't very good either (e.g. potatoes o'brien that have been unmistakenly previously frozen making them mushy). The TV in the room was hanging crooked so I took a look to figure out why. They actually bolted the TV onto the bracket crooked, making it very difficult to get it to stay level while watching. Incredibly lazy install. Then water was backing up in the shower and spilling over the shower sill into the bathroom and room. Absolutely disgusting. I mentioned these issue to maintenance man, Jose, on the way out. Also, the room overlooks the hotel front roof. There's empty caulking tubes and roofing tiles scattered around. Just incredibly lazy effort to maintain the place and keep it looking nice. We're not very particular, but would not stay here again. I've stayed in nicer Motel 6s.

I know nothing about Mesquite, but my best friend's grandparents live here. I'm going to be completely honest and straightforward here, I liked Eureka MUCH better than Casablanca, where we stopped at heading towards Utah. Compared to Casablanca, Eureka looks a lot newer and they have a lot more options and stuff to do. I had read after our trip that Eureka had gone under renovations about two years ago and they plan to build more retail stuff around it in the future. They have endless slot machines inside and they have a pretty big sportsbook, although I've seen bigger before. I did consider playing one of the slot machines since I had cash on me, but I didn't go for it. Being a Vegas local that has been inside so many casinos, I don't gamble or play slot machines all that much. Going forward, if we ever take another road trip to Utah, Eureka will be our permanent stop.

We headed over on a Saturday night around 9pm. The casino was hopping with lots of people hanging out inside gambling. I did find two of my favorite machines & had to hit them up. One was Lobstermania & I got to play for awhile on it but didn't walk away with any money. The machine was buy some doors into the casino & we got hit with a cold breeze every time the door was opened. We then ventured to the center bar for some drinks & to play video poker & keno. Bartenders were nice. Next I hit up another favorite game of mine, a devil game. Then I hit up the Black Jack table for some fun, it was hot for awhile then it wasn't. Then we hit up the electronic craps game because the craps table was full. I'm new to craps but my friend knows how to play it so he was helping me. We spent a lot of time there & the cocktail waitresses were very attentive. The ladies bathroom wall tile is very pretty. The casino was clean, didn't stink of cigarette smoke & looked new. Very nice casino & I can't wait to go back!

Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available anywhere in town and I didn't want to keep driving so late at night. In all honesty, if I were ever to find myself driving through this town and could not keep driving, I would not stay here again if the room was free and they promised me that it had just been cleaned. I would rather sleep in my car. I have no doubt whatsoever that they don't even clean the rooms. I would bet a month's pay that the sheets only get changed when there is dirt visible on them. Almost nothing worked in the room I stayed in (room number 2). The microwave was broken, but I didn't need it. The front window was broken, the lamp by the bed had to be fiddled with a lot just to get it to work. The worst part, which I find completely unforgivable, was that the disgusting shower that I was desperate enough to even try to use, had zero hot water. It wasn't like "oh, this water is kind of cold, that sucks ", it was obvious that the hot water to the shower was not even hooked up. I ran it for ten minutes and nothing. Only ice cold water. The sink water warmed up after about five minutes, but the shower got nothing. I stayed here 2/24/2017. The place is a dump, and shouldn't even be in business. If you read this and decide to stay here anyway, I feel very sorry for you. You can understand why the sign saying NO REFUNDS is so prominently displayed where you check in. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!! Also, the five star review can't be true, there's just no way. After staying here, I seriously wouldn't trust any review over 2 stars.
