This hotel at this moment, (3/2025) is still having the front water features put in and across the street is major foundation construction of another project/building. Ask to stay on the other end of the building if you want to sleep beyond 7am. I enjoyed their 2 outdoor hot tubs. I wish their pool was a little warmer but it is March so I am grateful their pool area is open. Many hotel pools are still closed! Friendly hotel front-desk people. They actually greet you entering and leaving the property. Lots of parking. Short walk to the casino and the 2 restaurants they have there. This casino was just fine if you are just driving through Mesquite and want to make a short stop here. It feels so dark and dreary inside. Talk about out of control cigarette smoke! If you don't mind that, this may be the place for you. During COVID, you hope a place like this would keep things wiped down and clean. It's not close to being on par with basic Las Vegas 3 star hotels. This place is basically a Best Western at the low end of the scale. Rooms are austere and dated. Towels were on wash cycle 382. Casino practically empty. The steakhouse restaurant was decent. Too bad Mesquite has few choices and rises to the level of mediocre at best. Would not come back to Eureka. Beware of BS website. I love the Eureka hotel, my favorite spot to stay in mesquite. Clean hotel, nice pool, friendly staff, comfortable and spacious rooms. We come here every year for our annual girls trip with about 50 women and the staff is so friendly and ensures we are all taken care of. After looking at reviews, we decided to spend the night at the Eureka hotel in Mesquite. We booked and paid for the new renovated room. It was very disappointing. I did not see anything renovated. same old carped, old furniture, old shower, old bathroom,. Maybe painted walls? When I'm passing through town it's my go to casino to stop at for food. The casino has lots of parking and is an easy exit off the highway. I always go to the casino restaurant and get the huge ham steak they also have a prime rib special after 4pm. The gambling floor is always busy lots of locals because the table limits are low. I stayed at the Eureka Hotel Casino in Mesquite, Nevada on August17th and August 26. I would rate the front desk and housekeeping staffs with 5 stars. They both provided excellent customer service. The hotel and Casino was not as good. On the 17th I went over to the Casino to unwind for a little while and then get something to eat. I found a seat at the end of a bar, with a barrier between me and the next player, which was down one chair, I took off my mask at that point. A very rude security person came over and told me I had to wear the mask in the casino(which I was aware of). I ask him how a person was supposed to drink with a mask on and again he was rude. I played the poker machine for a little while and then went to get something to eat. The two places that had been open were closed, even though it as a little after 8 and there were still people gambling. I ended up with no dinner that night, because I had been traveling and was to tired to go out. I was disappointed in the hotel. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, so no way to keep anything cold. The ice machine wasn't working. There was no coffee and lite breakfast in the lobby(there was no food at the hotel). It seemed to me that the Eureka was counting on making their money from the gamblers and travelers that wouldn't write a review. read more

Easy Check in. Very friendly staff. Hotel room was clean and did not smell. However the room did not have a mini fridge and the TV would not play any HD channels. Good size pool and hot tubs. Close to everything we needed on a golf trip. Except the TV and fridge. read more

Why is this listed as $$$$ ? Maybe because we didn't stay on a weekend? Anyway. We originally booked a room early and it was something like $59 for a Thursday - Friday. We stayed over one night to break up the 7 hour drive to Zion. This is an excellent pit stop so that you are refreshed for your drive and can go straight hiking once you arrive. The staff was super friendly. We actually originally cancelled our reservation because we thought we weren't going to make it that night, but called and they reinstated the rate. Too be honest, I didn't expect much because of the location and good rate that we got. We were definitely surprised by how clean and nice everything was. read more

This is fine as far as Mesquite goes. The room was large and clean. Just dated. Nice staff. My problem is we reserved a garden room so we would have a patio to enjoy. The people next to us in a non smoking room can smoke on their patio, so we lose the right to enjoy our patio. It should be a non smoking wing. read more

The lobby was lovely. The hallway carpets are stained & coming up. Careful not to trip! Our shower was poorly repaired. We told the front desk, but nothing was done. We were not told on check in that there was a shuttle to take you to the casino. My husband has a torn ACL & we had to walk. I noticed the high rollers & regulars were told about amenities. We were there for one night & not told anything. We ate at the cafe. Food was good, except the waitress was rude & coughed in our food. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. The room itself & the bed was lovely & comfy. The pillows are like bricks. Bring your own. Both my husband & I woke up with a couple of bug bites on our legs. We won't be back. Stayed at Eureka hotel in the month of November, first they were not sold out we got in way before 5 PM and they put us in a room right next to the side door. The door continues to open and shut very annoying and loud. Brought it up with the front desk the next day they moved us down the hall, we could still hear The side door. Never been to a hotel that vacuums at 8 PM at night, another issue with this place. The room we were in did not have a refrigerator or A microwave. If you stay in Mesquite do use a non-casino hotel if you want that amenity., There about the same price as other hotels in Mesquite Nevada, The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly, my wife and I decided we will never stay there again. read more

We returned to the buffet this past Sunday. Happy to report that we had great food and service. Jamie was our server and she didn't miss a beat! She is always happy and smiling...Karen came to our table to see how we were doing, we gave her a good report. I will say that the bus boys need to step it up. I heard that there were some new hires and they were in training. Glad to know because I had to get up and ask to have our used dishes to be picked up a couple of times. I had the pleasure of viewing one of the suites at this place and gotta say: VERY NICE! 2 bedroom suite, flat screen TV, comfy sectional couch with end tables and coffee table, jet tub- walk in shower (marble), spacious seating, patio. Great place to have a small get together. The staff was polite and the lobby was very fancy. Not much to do in Eureka but if you have to spend the night, I suggest a suite $100+ a night. read more

The casino area is very open and roomy. Not like the other stuffy and close together ones located in mesquite. We went for my fathers birthday and asked for a room on the bottom level as he is elderly and disabled. They accommodated that request, but the room was a little farther away than I would have liked it. We were able to use a side door so it was more convenient for him to get into the room. I liked that the rooms are not connected to the casino so there is no smokey smell. I booked through priceline and got a good deal for a saturday. I was happy with my stay. read more

WOW!! The King size bed was so comfortable. The marble bathroom with different spray heads was super! Patio with chairs and trees. Very relaxing. Bar area with refrigerator and coffee. COUPLES BEWARE!!!! We made a reservation for a 3 night stay in a suite which ended up being a 1 nighter. At 10 pm my wife and I are dead asleep when we are awaken by children slamming doors the room next to ours. This went on for about an hour, teenagers running down the halls, kids slamming doors, and bouncing off the walls once inside their rooms. At 1130pm, one of the kids actually started banging on our door. I got up out of bed and answered the door but the kid just entered the room next to us. This was the last straw...I had enough and called the front desk to advised them of the situation and requested security to handle the problem. 20 minutes later the noise continued and kids jumping off the beds and walls nextdoor. I went into hall to find the security guard who was standing about 20 rooms down. I approached the security guard and told him what room was causing the DISTURBANCE in the first place. He stated, "I was told there were just kids running down the hallways." He knocked on the culprit's door and the noise stopped.... for about 5 minutes before the kids started to play "ninja fight" while the "mom" was inside the entire time. UNACCEPTABLE! I went down to the front desk and told them about my experience and her response was "Well this is a family friendly hotel... we need to give them a chance to stop." I said its midnight and this has been going on for about 2 hours. The front desk clerk ROLLED HER EYES at me then stated "Well I could try to find you another room but there's no guarantee that there wont be children around." I further explained that your hotel staff was fully aware that this was our anniversary in a deluxe suite and expected more for your hotel, and questioned why you would put a family of at least 4-5 with young children next to us in the first place. The front desk member was simply not sympathetic about our situation, continued to HEAD BOB, roll her eyes, and acted like we were INCONVENIENCING her. At 1215 in the morning, with little sleep and LACK OF BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, I told her to cancel the rest of the stay, SPA PACKAGE, and DINNER RESERVATIONS (which was easily over $1,000) in loss of revenue for the EUREKA HOTEL and CASINO. OOHHH it gets better!!!! The same morning I get a return phone call from the Front Desk Manager, who the tells me that since we left the hotel at MIDNIGHT we will STILL be CHARGED for the SPA PACKAGE and the "night" stay. What a dive. We drove from Northern Utah to Mesquite with a trailer full of home goods that had been in storage. So, after fighting traffic and the straps on the trailer we FINALLY arrived. The first thing to know is that the food places are in the casino. The front desk folks advised us that "everything's" in the casino. I had a migraine when I got there so my husband went and got salads, and brought them to our room. I was advised that there was NO hot water in the shower. He stopped at the desk to tell them that. I got into the shower and found out there was very little hit water. The sheets on the bed were old, hemmed in black thread, and the bottom sheet was stained with something. The one redeeming quality was the bed. It was very soft after a long day. The end. read more

Extremely disappointed. The rooms are sub standard at best, you can easily get the same room in a nearby casino for 1/3 of the cost. The bathroom toilet didn't flush correctly and the shampoo felt like dish soap. The staff wasn't helpful and had to rekey our room keys twice before we could enter. I don't know what the fuss is all about with these reviews. People are just so hard to please these days and are so demanding on how it should be and don't think about how hard it is to run a business. They all seem to be more and more entitled. For little Mesquite, I think the Eureka is doing a fine job. We stayed here for a few nights and got 10 rooms as we gathered for a family birthday. I'm not a gambler, but I watched some people in our party play and it was fun to see nice and happy dealers. When we checked into our room at the counter of the hotel they were very professional, and did what they could to best accommodate us. We got a room on the third floor as the fourth floor of rooms were being renovated. Yes, I heard construction at 7am but who cares- I understand that it needs to be done, it's not anyone's problem. I tried asking for a different room just to see, but they were pretty booked so I was alright with it. My husband went golfing one day, so I had booked a massage at their spa. The spa is small, but very clean and new feeling. I actually own a spa myself and train therapists in Hawai'i. I am an Esthetician and wish they had facials, but the massage was excellent! I rarely pay for services when I travel, but so happy I did this time. I had Christopher. He performed the Red.. something Massage. It's just nice to get someone that actually cares what they are doing and how they perform in their job. He was slow, fluid, firm, quiet, thorough, and precise. The continuous moves that were not choppy make a world of difference when getting a massage. The small details throughout the massage make a big difference (hot stone implemented through out, warm neck pillow, hot pad placed on back, hot foot towels, and raising the head of the table when the massage is over for an easier way to get up off the table). He made me feel really relaxed and comfortable. Go check out their spa! The prices were reasonable and they even had a 20% off promotion! The amenities and pool were a great added touch with nice cabanas and outdoor a patio furniture! read more

Beds felt worn out no sitting area only two chairs the tv was only a 19" very dissatisfied the clerk was very nice but I believe I was over charged at 161.00 a night the place is clean I believe they only cater to players and drunks went to mesquite for baseball and will. The king size bed was very comfy. The room was okay...not extraordinary but not bad either. The elevators are slow and the hotel itself seemed a little aged. The staff are very friendly. I think they're required to acknowledge guests, but that's cool. I'm bummed that I didn't have the time to try out the pool during my stay. I checked it out and it looked very nice. Wife and I stayed here one night on our way home in LA from Denver. We stayed on Wednesday night in October so I figured it wouldn't be very crowded. Parking lot seemed to confirm this. We ended up with a room that was closest to the lobby. Had a window that opened to a sitting area on the patio behind us and upon check in could hear people talking (though not very loud). Clientele was senior citizens which is something when you consider I'm 66. The room itself was fine, though not 5 star worthy. The beds were comfortable and the noise was minimal. As there have pointed out, the hotel is not connected to the casino which is maybe 200 yards away. Room with 2 queens was $139 but they knocked 10% off quickly when I started questioning their price structure. I don't gamble so the casino was neither a plus or minus for me. Only two restaurants were open midweek, an upscale steakhouse, and a Denny's level restaurant that also housed a minimalist buffet. Not the worst place I've stayed in, but not the best either. read more
