A Hidden Gem on Morello Ave! I recently brought my broken necklace into this little jewelry repair shop on Morello Ave, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They evaluated the piece on the spot and gave me a very reasonable quote. To my surprise, it was fixed beautifully within two hours! The level of care and craftsmanship was outstanding. While I was waiting, I browsed their display and was impressed by the selection of stunning 14k jewelry and precious gemstones. I needed to resize a ring. I was on my way to Concord when I did a search for nearby jewelry store and found Valley Jewelers. I knew I didn't want to go to a big box jewelry company so we went here. I had an emerald ring size 7 and I needed to resize it to a size 9. The cost to resize it was $72. Let me tell you, I had a prior ring resized half a size and a different jewelry store I went to charged me $167!!! Both rings were 14k white gold. It was a complete ripoff. I know that Valley Jewelry is an honest and fair pricing jewelry store. Since that time, I have gone two other times to get rings resized. Every time I go, I buy more jewelry from them! Their prices are fair and they have good quality items. They have such unique pieces that I haven't seen before and their estate jewelry is so unique. read more

This is a very quaint, honest & really nice business. Ms. Hurd is a lovely lady who wants to sell jewelry, not put a huge markup on it & just see a huge profit. There are lots of cool things in the shop, including a tiny library to borrow books! Valley has been around a long time & I trust them. This is an incredible spot to go to. The woman who owns it takes great detail in what she does. Her prices are very reasonable and she does incredible work. Her shop is off the street a little and for that reason I don't think she gets as much attention, however I found her and am glad I did. There was one occasion in which I forgot to bring cash with me and her register did not accept my credit card. She said not to worry and to bring her cash when I got a chance. It was a rainy day, but still, I went to an ATM and pulled cash out for her. When I gave her the money she was really appreciative. They also have a great selection of jewelry. They sell very unique, beautiful pieces. You can also have some items custom made. In addition, they also sell sterling jewelry. This place is so great if you like jewelry. The people there are very nice, and helpful. I can bring in jewelry and they can tell me more about it. Just go! Now!
