It's quite a story, but last year our car was stolen off their parking lot and because we had an air tag in the car, we could see where the car was. My husband was on the phone with the cops who kept redirecting him to other police departments since the thief kept driving around different local cities who were in their jurisdiction. He eventually called Dino and told him where the car was moving around. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dino managed to locate the car and recover it from the person who was taking it for a joy ride.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don't know what happened with the thief, but we got our car back with no damage and just the smell of cigarettes, some missing loose change and cup holder. Dino was kind enough to replace our cup holder and detail our car after this whole crazy event so it came back smoke free and clean. Quick and easy, folks! I have only ever taken my Mercedes' to the dealer for service. If you drive one you know what it can cost to service them or repair them. You gotta pay the dealer with your first born child usually! Anyway, I had a bad experience at the West Covina service center and never went back. I was taking my car to the Arcadia service center (they are great) but I got on Yelp to find something closer to home. This place is a hidden GEM! The owner has great reviews on Yelp and for good reason. I dropped my car off and it was done when promised. The price is LESS than half of what the dealer charges. I had to search for my log-in information to leave a review for Valley Mercedes Service (VMS). They are that amazing! My husband and I had been shopping for a used MB GL for over 6 months. We finally found one but needed to get it inspected. I contacted VMS and Dino, the owner, happily answered my questions, offered to inspect the vehicle and ultimately inspected it. The inspection was thorough and uncovered several issues. Without VMS' expertise I do not know whether the dealership would have been so receptive to not only fixing the issues but seeing the importance of satisfying the VMS service team. Needed to have my fluids topped off in preparation for selling my car. Valley Mercedes Service was recommended to me for giving honest service at a fair price. After reading Yelp reviews I gave them a call. They said 'Come on by.' Ron was at the desk when I arrived and got my key and took the car in. In short order the mechanic returned with my key. The coolant level was low, so he added that and everything else was fine. No charge! I'll be back. Well, I did come back! So our Mercedes suspension went out last week. My husband did some online sleuthing, thought he could fix it (he has worked on our other cars successfully), ordered some parts, and then quickly realized he was in over his head. Towed our car here to Valley Mercedes Service in Covina. Having not been here before, we were worried about how much the repair was going to set us back financially. But these guys are great - they were nice, knowledgeable, efficient, and very reasonable priced. A couple days later, we have the car back, all fixed. In fact the repairs were so reasonably priced we had them do an oil change as well. And we could still afford to go out for dinner on the way home. We will definitely be back! read more
