I thought I would try a new nail salon, that was a bad idea. I called ahead to see if a manicure was included in the SNS, they said yes. When I sat down they did not start a manicure, I asked if they were going to do a manicure and they told me it was not included. I explained that I just called to confirm they told me that the person on the phone did not know. I should have gotten up and left at this point, but decided I will still give the place a chance. When I arrived I began to pick out a color and the first one I picked they said they did not have it. I picked another color, the lady came back with three options (I am not sure why). I picked one, it looked nothing like my original color and is hideous. I am really disappointed that I paid $35 plus tip for my nails. I will not be returning. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS DUMP!!! I stopped in for a pedi since it was right next to Starbucks. Once we were seated I got a little nervous by how dirty and worn the place looked. I got talked in to a gel pedicure. It was more expensive but claims of it lasting longer seemed worth it. No joke it took an hour and 45 min. We were like, we really need to get going. Suddenly they could not speak english and laughed at us to each other. Later last night I noticed a big chip missing. I was pissssed. I go in today and after waiting half hour I asked how much longer, the owner begins to yell at me in front of everybody and says I caused it to chip and to sit. She then begins to tell the whole shop how I have " soft toe nails" but she will fix. After a 5 min rant from her I unleashed a can of whip ass, told her to fix it, stop speaking . She then made a speech in an unknown language and had alllll of the workers look at me at laugh. Meanwhile, filthy towels on the floor, filthy sink area and ripped and dirty towels waiting in chairs for future customers... DONT BE THE NEXT VICTIM read more

I came in with my aunt a few weeks ago for pedicures at this salon. Things were good I would only say the downside was that while getting my pedicure the technician was telling me I need to get an eyebrow wax to make them more arched. She also asked if my aunt was my grandma. Nail polish didn't last longer than a week. Other than that, it was relaxing. read more

My mother and I decided to go here for her 1st mani/pedi ever. This place looks like youre little-fancier-than-basic nail salon. It was very clean and bright. We were able to sit next to each other in our pedicure chairs. I had a gentleman working on me, he was great. Ive had several manicures and this one was up there w/ the really good ones. I got the basic but he still used hot stones on my legs and feet. **Ive you've never had this done, do it. Itll probably cost extra but it feels amazing. Then it was over to the tables for my mani. My guy worked quickly and efficiently and I was done in no time. He even complimented me on my nail color choice! My Mom had an older lady who seemed to be really taking her time. I was done w/ a great mani/pedi about 35 minutes before she was. Let me start by saying that it's Mother's Day and my wife and daughter came to see you today for the first, and LAST time because their usual spot was closed. So my girls waited nearly a full hour to be seen even though they had appointments. Then the lady who worked on both of them never introduced herself otherwise I would be pointing her out by name, did absolutely horrendous work. Both my daughters acrylic nails and my wife's manicure and dip turned out completely unacceptable. My daughter asked the lady to fix hers multiple times and after the lady not listening to her, she felt uncomfortable enough not to say anything further. Her acrylic nails are still to long and uneven. My wife's manicure was rushed and her nails are completely uneven. Some fingers the nails are rounded on one side and more squared on the on the other. Her dips were done wrong and my wife had to have the lady fix several and it still looks like a child did it. The lady did an awful job all around. My wife's pedicure didn't go any better either. The foot scrub was a complete joke, used an actual nail brush to "scrub" her feet. More like paid $30 to have her feet washed even though they were supposed to do a heal scrub. Then the bill came, $100 for what they received? Seriously!?! The person who did the work must be in training or should be fired. My wife and daughter usually see Henry or Vee at Laverne nails on Lindsay and Broadway and the work is impeccable and the bill with a $20 tip usually does come to $100. Overall, the business own of this establishment needs to take a real hard look at the work being put out. I stopped in looking for a new place to get my nails done closer to home. I need a thumb nail repaired and thought I'd give them a chance. I'm not overly picky the one thing that I can't deal with is when one nail tech is in the middle of working on three different customers (at the same time in different spots in the salon) and still trying to squeeze someone else in. Talk about horrible customer service. There was one girl sitting next to me who had tips on one hand, another customer in the back of the salon who's nails were done but had not been painted yet, and someone in the pedicure area while she still was trying to squeeze me in with my thumb. Maybe I'm a little picky about my nails but I was pretty disappointed with this experience. I came in for a basic pedicure and gel manicure and wanted matching colors and also needed to be out within an hour and a half and told the technician that before we got started to make sure it could be done and was told yes. First I picked a color and was told they had a matching polish but it was in the dip powder polish not gel and I said that was fine and because of my time crunch they asked if they could do both mani and pedi at the same time and I said of course. So they started on my pedicure and then sent a man over to do my manicure and he proceeds to tell me the dip polish manicure doesn't include cutting cuticles, that it would be an upcharge, since when does any manicure not include that!? So I told him that was not okay and he says that if I want gel the cuticle trim is included so i said fine I would do that instead not because of the cost but the point of it, I felt he was just trying to upcharge me. Then he sets down gel colors and walks off and says he is going to take another customer, wtf? That was so rude I almost walked out. Then I glance down at my pedicure and the polish job was terrible, she had painted on my cuticles and when I questioned her she said "to make your nail look longer" and I told her to please take the polish off my skin & she did but it still looked terrible, not to mention she's wearing such a low cut top it's borderline offensive. The only positive part of this experience was the man that ended up doing my nails did a good job and pretty quickly. read more

I stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the people are there. I came back a 2nd time today and even though they were very busy they took care of me right away. The thing I like the most about this place is they talk to you while they are working on you. Other places I've been to just treat you like a number. I have been to this shop several times. Always had a good experience. I've introduced this place to several people I know etc. I never had issues before until recently. On two different occasions I was completely dissatisfied. But nothing compares to the last/most recent time I went. I came in for SNS dip powder. The lady who did my nails was HORRIBLE. She first took the nail file and instead of filing my nails she filed my skin, completely filing off the skin until it became raw and started bleeding. I told her that it hurt. She said nothing. I gave her the benefit of the doubt as she kept on. She did the same exact thing to the same finger on the other hand! Still decided to let her keep going. WORST MISTAKE EVER. She took out the dremel tool and completely cut open most of my cuticles. My hands were shaking because I was in pain. She then decided to put acetone on my hands which burned of course. I let her finish which took 2 hours of pure torture. The final result was horrible. Aside from the cuts and me bleeding, it looked like a toddler did my nails. The dip powder was not just on my nails but on my cuticles. It looked horrible. And to add insult to injury the lady then says "Okay that will be $38." I went to the front desk to show the lady Monica who is such a lovely person. The look on Monica's face said it all. The lady Hannah came up to me and told me to come back tomorrow that she would fix my nails. So I did. And Hannah did a good job fixing my nails and sent me on my way. Last time I had an issue the owner Tracy fixed my nails free of charge. I assumed since this was way worse than that time that it would be the same thing. That and the day I came back to get them fixed no one said anything about charging me. So I walked out. I did not have cash on me so I did not tip Hannah but I was absolutely going to make sure to take care of her next time I came in because I'm not a cheap a** who expects a good job and then don't tip. I know that is wrong. Well, Tracy the owner calls me 10 mins after I leave and tells me I forgot to pay. I said to her no one said anything about me paying. She was fully aware of the issue with the person who messed me up. And yet showed no compassion whatsoever. She yelled at me to pay her. Telling me this isn't a free service. Treating me like I just did this to get a free nail job which is far from the truth considering I've spend a lot of money there. I told her that she is representing her business in a horrible manor if she thinks its okay to make someone feel this way after her employee made me bleed and put me in so much pain. It is her job to make sure she takes care of the customer that her employee hurt. But no, she didn't care. She just wanted money. So then she tells me " well I have your card info on file, if you'd like I can charge it" I told her " No, absolutely not. I told her that is illegal to charge my card without my permission" I told her " With this horrible service I should not have to pay. I have never had a problem paying before I have spent a lot of money at her shop. It is not about the money. But I will not pay for such horrible treatment" She didn't like my answer and hung up. Well I look at my credit card statement a week later and happen to notice she ILLIEGALLY charged my card for $51 dollars. I will never go to this place again. And I advise others to not go here either. They do not care about you at all. They just want your money. The only nice person there is Monica who works at the front desk and I feel sorry for her that she has to work with horrible people. read more

Horrible and humiliating experience. Request to not have a certain male, who always wears a baseball cap. Have had him twice before for manicures. Never soaks nails,or trims cuticles,and is done with a $35 gel mani in less than 20 minutes. He is also PAINFUL. During my appt. with another person he approached me with a 5 minute verbal assult about Karma will get me for threating his job by refusing him. They suspiciously post a sign on their wall "Cash for Tips Greatly Appreciated", I asked a gal during my service "Are you guys not taking credit cards for tip?" she responded"we do but my boss don't like it" by that time I feel like if I don't have any cash on me it will make the owner get pissed off? The service here is pricey compare to others salons around just for the same service to be done. I've gotten my SNS nails done here for the past year and they ALWAYS turn out incredible. If I'm not sure what color Tracy will help to figure out what looks best with my skin. I love this place! They get four stars only because they charge an extra $1 if you aren't paying with cash. Oh yeah, and you can't add the tip to the card!? Craziness. This place seemed pretty good! Had decent prices, there were quite a few people working and they had many options so I figured it would be pretty good. I was talked into trying the dip powder nail polish for the first time. Beware, although it sounds great, the dip powder turned out grainy on nails and is darker on nails than they were on the salons swatch where it was a lot lighter and not grainy at all. In terms of the salon, the associate with nice and did a good job...besides my cuticles. It hurt pretty bad when he was doing my nails but I didn't say anything because sometimes it happens and hurts a bit. I look at my nails and my cuticles are visibly cut. A little unimpressed as its pretty unsanitary to cut cuticles to the point of a customer bleeding. Other than the cuticles and the fact that the dip powder was a bit deceiving, it was a good experience. read more

She cut my cuticles and made cuts on multiple fingers with her grinder. I would NOT recommend the girl at this place unless you like having cuts on multiple fingers... Best of the best! They recently remodeled which adds to the awesome experience I have at Valley Nails. Tammy always has new ideas for my nails and they turn out beautiful every time. I have become such a regular here over the years that they remember my tastes and favorites. They have trendy gel colors and specials for every season. They also shape acrylics perfectly and they never look cheap or shovel-ly. I value the "me time" I get at Valley Nails and will continue to go every two weeks to update my nails. Never disappointed! Side note: they recently started accepting credit cards (used to be cash only!) but they still prefer to be tipped in cash! They will make the exception for you if you do not have cash but it is always so much appreciated to give them cash instead. They seem fairly disappointed when tipped on a credit card. read more

This place is a joke! I'm not sure if they are closing their doors or really just that cheap. They had no matching gel colors to regular polish. The polishes they did have were old, empty and discolored, pinks were tannish peach. After becoming very frustrated and deciding to leave half way thru the manicure, they wanted to charge me for a full manicure. This place is falling apart and disgusting and they are the type of employees that talk crap about you while you are sitting there. If you want a TERRIBLE experience go here.
