I went in for a consultation and requested to go purple (was previously blonde) informed i hadn't done my roots in such a long time due to being pregnant and couldn't retouch my hair. Yeini informed it wouldn't be a problem, well my appointment came and went and she didn't even touch up my roots and let me walk out with full gray. Very lazy work! She ONLY put put color which i could have easily done myself at home for FREE. This team will gaslight you and put all blame on you. So I ended having to do my maternity, hospital, and newborn photoshoot with such awful hair, that they REFUSED to make right. Called in several times just to get told they'd call back in 15 min and never call back... Just go somewhere else people!

I will say they almost broke my hair, I had a bad feeling after not having checked the foils during my process and the girl was double booked. So I asked them to wash it out. Yes i would rather leave with orange roots and have hair on my head. Then to blend everything, the stylist made my ends grey/purple ash blonde. It ruined my old blonde that I came in with. Not to take charge, but I did ask her as I watch the toner darken my ends into like a purple undertone, if she was sure it wouldn't soak the purple. But anyway, I paid the second consult price which was 310 or 320? Priced balayage, but left with anything than what I wanted or came in with :(. I was happy with the work and continued to come. But recently, I had an appointment, which I book in advance at the end of my each appointment. I drive 30 minutes from Brownsville to get here. I arrived and the place was locked. I sent a dm, a text, a phone call and left a message. I received no response. I waited for 25 minutes and then drove 30 minutes back home. So it ended up being a waste of 1 hr 25 minutes of my time. I received no response, definitely no reason for the "no show" , no attempt at rescheduling a new appointment. I was out of town for 2 weeks and when I got back I again attempted to get an appointment but received no response. I left it at, she's probably still out. I received no apology, I needed no apology but an attempt of rescheduling would have been nice. I waited an additional period of time and again attempted to get an appointment. This time around, she did acknowledge my attempt and gave me an appointment for the following week. The day of my appointment, I started my drive and about 15 minutes in, she text me that she had to cancel. It's 2 days later, I have been waiting for a reschedule if my appointment and I've gotten nothing. Again, I don't need an apology but a total disregard for my time and effort to be a loyal customer is so disrespectful. Needless to say, I will no longer be a customer of this establishment. I can no longer recommend it. If you value your time, please stay away from here.

Not only was the cut flattering and the coloring deep and rich, my hair was light and smooth and strong The Hair Doctor rinsed my hair 5 times with different treatments to super moisturize my hair again. It restored the natural oils that had lost. I bought her shampoo and conditioner and an oil to add just one drop of after future washes. I am very very happy. My hair has not felt this good in decades, and I'm 64. The vibe in the salon is upbeat and positive. Thank you.
