Beautiful park!! We found it through a Google search & drove without searching their website or Yelp reviews. To enter the skatepark you have to pay ($5 non- & $3 resident) and they only take cash or check. It wasn't as packed as I expected on a Friday evening like other skateparks we've gone to. There's also a schedule to designate- scooter, skateboard & BMX days (pic included). We passed a nicely kept large field (baseball/soccer?) and a small playground was in between the field & skatepark. Play area seemed to cater to kids 9 & under.

Upgraded playground!

The playground at this park has been recently upgraded and it's amazing! Highly recommended. Absolutely incredible obstacle course playground. I almost hesitated putting up these photos because I want to keep it our little secret!

We love this park, our dogs love this park. It's super convenient that they always have open restrooms, an open baseball field where our dogs can run around safely. They have signs everywhere warning about coyotes, which is super nice. We love the community of young skaters, there's always kids and teens and families playing and hanging out and that's great to see. We really enjoy this park, always clean.

The park grass is so good.

This is the best skate park in the valley. I've learn a lot of new tricks on this park.

They make you pay to skate and grown men must wear elbow and knee pads. Seriously? Good luck

Awesome skate park. Came on a Friday and closed at 8pm. The crowd was medium and still enough space…read moreto work on whatever trick you're trying to learn. I've been looking for a skate park in the valley for its mini ramps and different sized bowls to learn. I felt comfortable at this skate park to cruise around and practice. It's a good skate park for all skill levels. When I went, I noticed groups of young people hanging around the outside entrance huddled together. On my way out, there were people shouting, wrestling, and horse playing. I just went on my way but I hope this park continues to be a safe environment for kids to feel welcome too! Update- Took the review from 4 stars to 3 stars. Beware of a skinny, young, small, pale white woman wearing a floral SnapBack backwards with brown curly hair driving an all black GT Mustang. I didn't see her skating at the park at all but she was parked in the lot accompanied by a passenger (don't know who they were). I was already exiting my parking spot and was reversing to straighten my wheel to get out and she aggressively honked at me for no reason. She didn't like how I was in front of her. I threw my hands up and I honked because she aggressively cut me off in the parking lot. They honked again and this time the passenger flipped me off LOL and sped off! I was with the car at the next traffic light and witnessed the car was aggressively changing lanes trying to be first in line, tailgating me, cutting me off, and driving horribly. I was just in shock and laughing at them because they acted so immaturely. It did leave a bad impression and I'm thinking of not coming back to this area!

Good skate park! It has lots ramps, steps, bowls, and mini bowls to skate in. It wasn't too crowded…read morewhen I went but I'm sure it gets busy on the weekends. Great place to practice!

It's a great park for kiddos. Very pretty and big, so you can take a long walk or even a hike with…read morekids; it has, like, a small forest-type vibe because there are trees everywhere and even has a bridge over some water, like a small river type, but not really. It's cute. We came here for an event the park held called National Night Out, where they had a bunch of vendors and booths and gave out a bunch of free stuff to the kiddos. It was fun. The only downside is we did see a coyote here. Which is pretty dangerous, obviously. We saw some joggers who encountered it, and the coyote ran away when the joggers got close, but the joggers also kind of ran away lol. In other words, it's a nice park, but I would be cautious with coyotes.

Went here for the Fall Festival. It was ok. It was more of a mini festival…read more For example, as far as food trucks went, there were only 2. One served burgers, fries, nachos, and soda, and the other served popsicles. I was relieved they even had those because at first I thought there weren't any food trucks at all. When I first went into the park, I wasn't even sure where the festival was. I just followed the people in front of me. We all followed the sound of a live band playing. Once we found the band, we could see a row of tents opposite of them. The tents were mostly for sign ups to performing arts for both children and adults, that's why I thought there wasn't any food. Then I realized the 2 food trucks were parked on the road close to the row of tents. Even the number of portable restrooms available was small, only 3, but again, better than none at all. As far as festivals go, you get what you pay for and since this one was free from parking to entrance, don't expect much. It's still something to do and a good excuse to spend some time at the park with nice weather. As for the park itself, it's clean and a way to enjoy nature in the city. There are even plaques talking about the L.A. River and a bridge to go over the water. Just know that you'll hear the constant sound of cars because of the nearby freeway. Plus, it being Burbank, you can't help but be surrounded by the entertainment industry. The park itself is named after late night host Johnny Carson, you can see the ABC skyscraper over the treetops, and when you see the mountain with the radio tower on top, you know you're looking at the backside of the Hollywood sign.
