I am writing this review based on their patience and helpfulness in completing a out of state firearms transfer. Me to my Dad. Should be hand it to him, and that's that...but the government is what it is. And we all have to deal with this stuff. They were more than patient on the phone helping me to explain to a shipper that the item was going to a legit FFL and that this is in congruence with law/company policy. I waved the young clerk over to take out a collectible NFL football. He unlocked the glass door and proceeded to take it out. While still squatted down, I asked him what the price tag was. He then looked up at me with a displeased look, and with a raised, irritable voice, said, "Hold on! I can only do one thing at a time! Ok?!" He looked like he wanted to fight. So I looked right at him and said, "I'm not rushing you. Take all the time you need." But I wanted to say, "God damn ... what's with the fking attitude? If you hate this chink, just say so!" The clerk is a skinny white boy, probably in his early twenties. I've bought from them before. But being that they seem to be part of the "we hate Asians" movement, I won't be visiting that shop anymore. I refuse to give my money to a shop that promotes racism.

Sure enough, they had exactly what I was looking for and generally about the same pricing as you would find on places like eBay - plus I didn't have to pay for shipping OR have to wait days for it to come in the mail. I was amazed at how much this place has - I could have probably spent hours in there just looking through all the treasures. Today, one of my computer monitors took its last breath and I needed to get a new one stat. I decided why not see what Downtown Gold & Pawn had before I went somewhere and bought new from Wal-mart or Best Buy. Again I found exactly what I needed (and some other awesome goodies) and they worked on pricing with me since I was getting so many items. Both guys I have dealt with (JD and I THINK John), have been great - tons of personality and they were quick to help me find what I was looking for. JD even helped me load the bigger items into my truck. WAY BETTER THAN WAL-MART - better prices and much better customer service. And who cares if it's not brand new...
