Diane was very sweet to us upon arrival and made sure that we knew everything we needed for our ring process. She was honest and answered every question we had. They quoted us a two week repair time but the time frame ended up being only a week. I can't express how much care and effort they took into repairing the ring we had. Thankfully, we found it and brought it back to the same jeweler for repair. Three days after picking it up, the head of the ring detached and the diamond was lost forever. When I returned, I was told, "The head was weak and that happens." No apology. No accountability. I was later told they "can't predict the future." Despite the rings being originally made there and the repair failing within days, I was charged again to fix it using one of the last remaining stones from my mother's jewelry. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. The lack of care, craftsmanship, and basic empathy during an incredibly emotional situation was shocking. If you have any item, whether it is a piece of jewelry or timepiece that you care for, DO NOT take it to this establishment. I would not even take costume jewelry to this guy. HE SIMPLY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING. I purchased an expensive watch that only needed to be sized. After taking the band of my watch apart and after working on it for 20 minutes, he became flustered, handed it back to me in pieces and asked me to work on it myself. After, I insisted that he return the watch to me in the condition he received it, his response was "I will have to charge you for that?". WHAT!!! Are you serious?, I asked. The police department was called by me and when the officer showed up the officer quickly determined that this jewelry repair man was under the influence of alcohol. The repairman admitted to the officer that he had a couple of glasses of wine. The officer stated, "you had more than a couple of glasses of wine, I've been doing this for over 30 years".
