Worst experience of my life. 1.5 hrs late on my scheduled appt. They sent texts stating I needed to reschedule my appt. Had to call several times and fix the appt. They than sent a confirmation of X-rays in Avondale in and MRI in Chandler had to fix that. Explained I have high anxiety in MRI and do not want med to wear off, did not care and when I said if I have an anxiety attack my lawyer might care . Was told haha what are you going to do sue us for being busy. These people have no heart. Are not kind and are incompetent in all areas. I would avoid this place and will never return!!!!! read more

The patients were so rude to the front desk staff for no reason today. They warmly greeted everyone as they entered the office and the conveniently allow walk-ins for X-rays. Their scheduling department is horrible. This is the second time this has happened. I made an appointment for an MRI this morning. I have a spinal cord implant, which I told them when I made the appointment. 2 days ago they called to say the Simon Med did not have the MRI machine I needed, which they said was a 3.0. So they rescheduled me for a different location today again. When I gave the technician my implant card from Abbott, they told me I needed a 1.5 MRI machine which they did not have. So I had to reshedule again for a different location on a different day. They do not have their act together at all other than the technicians are great. read more

I scheduled exams before I traveled from out of town. Arrived early waited an hour before my first bone density scan. Preformed with no empathy for the patient .I was scheduled for 3 different test all pre scheduled and confirmed . I did paperwork online and had to repeat it in the office and still never got xrays. After dealing with a automated person and providing all my information I was transferred to a human and after providing her with additional information was told I had to make an appointment through a person named Sabrina and was transferred. My doctor called an order for a bladder ultrasound. Then he called an order for a renal ultra sound. I ended up with 2 , 1 hour appts. These are performed at the same time, one appt. I tried to contact the office where the procedure was to be performed. It kept switching me to the scheduling office. The secon time I was given a different ph. # to contact then office, it was a number that was no longer in service. The 3rd call went back to the scheduling office in some other country. Accents are difficult to understand and I had great difficulty understanding what the person was saying because of the rooster crowing in the samem room. read more

Schedule a specialized MRI 4 weeks ago which of course got routed to national call center and the moron still scheduled at a facility that doesn't perform them. Then the morons at the facility wait until 4 weeks later and an hour before arrival time to call and say they don't do this test at their location. It shows you the scam and pricing they charge to be able to stay in business because any other business would be bankrupt the way these morons run their company and treat their patients. I can't imagine a less competent group. To start with they did not enter my insurance information correctly and therefore tried to bill me triple the negotiated rate- this even after I called the billing department and this location in advance and had a note put in my file. The X-ray technician was adequate however Next I received a balance due bill showing they didn't even read their internal notes. Now the absolutely aggravating part - when you call, and if you can ever get through, the people you deal with are almost completely unable to speak or understand English. They have no authority to actually do anything and kept jabbering about referring you to someone but never do. Never waste your time here! Worst business I've ever dealt with!!! If I were dyeing I wouldn't go there. They are dishonest (especially billing), majorly disorganized to the point the agents can't even connect you to the right department (99 out of 100 times). I had a doctor's order for a "stat" CT scan with contrast for a suspected lung embolism. Needless to say, three days later and a dozen different agents they still haven't weren't able to confirm my appointment or billing. In my opinion, don't walk away from Simon Med, RUN as fast as you can. read more

They have no respect for a patients time, This place is frustrating, the young ladies at the front desk don't keep you advised and if I didn't have to be here, I wouldn't be here. I had an exam scheduled this morning that they canceled about an hour before I was supposed to arrive because their equipment was malfunctioning. No big deal, things happen. I called back immediately to reschedule as they asked. They scheduled me at another location for the procedure about an hour later. Thirty minutes later, they called back again to cancel AGAIN because they couldn't do the procedure where they rescheduled me. In the meantime, I've been fasting all morning and taking medication to lower my heart rate. I've been on the phone with them all morning, and I have re-explained all this to 6 different employees. They disconnected me on transfer 5 of the six times they handed me off, told me they would call back shortly and never did, left me on hold, and completely ruined my morning. This place is a masterclass on awful customer service and everything that is wrong with our medical system. read more

We arrived at 10:15am and wow was this place really busy. It was so busy that we were all on high alert when a seat would open up.... There was only one employee manning the front when we arrived, and it took him 10 minutes to acknowledge me. He was struggling trying to help customers that were leaving and checking out, and he was also busy on the phone with some support person. People were definitely frustrated as to why the wait times were long, even if they had an appointment. Help finally came to the front desk and there were finally two employees manning the front. I'm not sure if this location is understaffed or what not, but the front desk employees were even making a few calls to patients telling them that their appointments were all running behind.. So be prepared to be here a while and keep in mind that they do get really busy!!! The employees I did interact with though, were ok. Oh and my ribs are still in so much pain from the test that I had done, send helppppppppppppp! :( It was an ok but painful experience all around. read more

I have been to this location several times, whether it be for x-rays or ct scans. The staff and the technicians are excellent. Every time I have visited, some of the regulars have been recognized by the staff and referred to by name. Normally I don't think this is a big deal because every place has regulars but I have been to several imaging locations and I had never seen it before. The atmosphere in this location is positive which really helps your comfort level when you visit. You definitely notice the difference! read more

They need to be honest about waiting times. We got there 15 minutes early with all paperwork all filled out ahead of time before we got there. There was one other person ahead of us. We waited over an hour for us to be called. Meanwhile other patients have signed in and left throughout our entire wait. In fact, there were many other staff members who finished their shift before we were called. When asked about how much longer it will be, they said they are still working on a patient. (Receptionist was nice but could be more forthright about estimated wait times.) The very very last patient before us left the office and we were still waiting there for another 25 minutes. Finally the technician with the goatee came out and called us. Finished his coffee break maybe? If they don't have the time for patients and respect their appointed times, they need to do away with their practice of allowing overbooking. But we all know that will never happen because profit is prioritized over patient experience. read more

Wait and wait and wait some more. I was originally scheduled for an MRI and Ultrasound at 10:30 in Tempe but got a call as I was arriving saying the machine was broken. They called the SimonMed in Chandler and confirmed they could get me in by 12:15. I arrived at 12 and they got my ultrasound done, although tech seemed extremely frazzled by so many appointments and other patients. They the. Said I was double booked for my MRI and now couldn't get in until maybe 1:45 pm. This is not the first time my wife and I have had issues being double booked and having to wait at a Simon med. Wow! I walked in to schedule my appointment because I couldn't get it to work for me online or by phone. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the two ladies at the front desk. The lady at the far side helped me. The first available appointment was in 15 minutes. They took me back early. I walked in and walked out in less than 15 minutes. Although the air in the waiting area seemed a bit stagnant, there was not a large crowd here. Reception staff was fine and they were kind enough to send out the very friendly x-ray technician to talk to me about a concern. The actual procedure was very fast, efficient, and seemed to be modern equipment. read more

Just left a review on the wrong Simon Med facility. I went to this location on Dobson Rd. Everyone here was super nice from the check in to the two techs that I had to see. The ultrasound tech was amazing and made me feel comfortable and was gentle and kind. So thankful for that. Then I had to go to CT and she was wonderful as well. I'm an anxious patient and these techs made it so much more pleasant. Great job. I will probably drive to this location in the future even though it's not as convienant. Darn near impossible to set an appointment by phone. Wonderful call blocking system prevents you from speaking to actual employees. That was money well spent to mask their apparant lack of employees. They call me 2-3 times a day to set an appointment but when you try to return the call you sit on hold for 5-10 minutes and nobody answers the phone. Maybe they're closed during the week? I'm gonna call my PCP to see if I can schedule the test for somewhere that has actual people working there. My boss would fire me if I ever provided this level of service to our customers. read more

I made an appointment online and week in advance, for the first open appointment at 09:15 am and received my confirmation. I received three text reminders about the date and time. I arrived 15 mins early to a large waiting room with only one person in it. The receptionist asked me why I was there, saying my appointment was not until 10. I showed her the confirmation notice and reminders on my phone, and she told me those did not mean anything as the online appointment system was 'different' and that their system had me down for 10 am and it was the only one that counted. I asked if I should come back later then, and she said I needed to wait in the waiting room because they were behind already and didn't want delays. I asked if that meant it might be later than 10 am, and she said that it would probably not be later than noon. I had taken time from work for this as it was, and could not just tell my employer I would return at some nebulous time later in the day so had to cancel the event. read more

It is in the same building labelled LABCORP. We kept going around and around trying to look for this place. After finding the place, I had an appointment at 2:15 PM and no one told me there was paperwork to fill out so I arrived on time just so my appointment time to be pushed because of the paperwork I had to fill out. That saying, they were very kind to have squeezed me in the day I tried to schedule. I just had to wait a couple hours and I was in. That was pretty awesome. The technician that did my ultrasound was super nice and told me exactly what she was doing so I knew what to expect. I had to go to Simonized because of my insurance. I've never been to a SimonMed before and from my experience, I would go back again so I hope they continue to accept my insurance :D. read more

My most recent experience with Simon Med has been my worst ever!! First of all, it took me 7 contact attempts to schedule due to wait times of 45-90 minutes each call with dropped calls, getting hung up on, Being "transferred" then hung up on, poor connection followed by a dropped call, system being down and being told I would be called back to get scheduled (which never happened) until finally, a week later, I was finally able to get scheduled. Now, as I sit here, WAITING yet again, I am being told my appointment will be 45-60 minutes late due to double booking. I have another appointment after this that I now may be late for, although I have to be 30 minutes early to THIS appointment. I couldn't be more disappointed in this company an will look for every other option for imaging before ever using their services again. read more

I do not need any "reaching out to" from Simonmed as what happened is very accurate and explained in the review below. What was done is done, no back talk can change that, it's history. If you can't decipher what is wrong with Simonmed from my review there is nothing I can add to change it and apparently nothing Simonmend cares to do about their website or phone staff as it's just normal operating procedure. I can not be the first person who experienced what I did while trying to use Simonmed. I realize now that I didn't have to use Simonmed but just followed what my medical practice gave me. I'm absolutely sure my Dr Office was visited by some outside sales person to pitch your business as they had a pad of Simonmed order forms. And yes they already know my experience which they refereed me to and have expressed apologies for doing so and I wasn't their first patient with a misguided, neglected, malpracticed experience of operations. I'm beginning to feel that Simonmed is just a front for a poorly executed third party franchise that sells itself to medical practices for preferred kickbacks. Why else would there be three separate Simonmed offices all within walking distance of one another. That makes no sense but to raise overhead which I wouldn't put past you as I have first hand experience of your business sense. The very fact that there has to be a "Lindsay C" damage control position is proof of your crappy operations decisions. Responding to your request as you put it "reaching out to us" (NOT) will not change a thing, in fact it will only aggravate my position as it only reinforces my experience at Simonmed as they send out the hounds to quell what you know is true. And yes, quite a few people have heard my story when asking what my results were. And yes I will volunteer it when anyone asks or the subject of testing comes up. SimonMed Imaging is a horrible business and they don't care about anybody. They made a multiple mistakes on my account and will not fix them. Every time I call, I talk to somebody different who says they see the mistake and then it isn't fixed. My insurance company has even been involved and told them what they need to fix to correct their mistakes they still don't do it. Now they have turned me over to collections and I being harassed because they're all idiots. Do not go to Simon med. Melissa in their billing department is a major rude nasty witch. read more

Arrived and they had an old order they were trying to do, had to go all the way back to the doctor office and bring in the form and told them it was sent 2 hours ago with a confirmation, all I was told is that it takes a long time for orders to go through and I would have to wait. Scheduled an MRI with and without contrast and the staff only scheduled an mri without contrast so when I showed up there was no radiologist on site to administer the mri with contrast and they made me drive all the way to queen creek where they had an open slot several hours later. Complete waste of my time, no apology, and reeked of incompetence by the front office staff. Simple task simple order got it wrong and severely inconvenienced me. Would not trust them again for any x ray or mri needs. Total wait time between both locations was 3 1/2 hours. Not to mention mri took forever and driving to and from queen creek and waiting in between appointments. Occupied my day from 8:30am to 4:30 pm to get this mri thanks to their mistake. read more
