However the RV park I am staying at had his card (top recommendation) as a reliable contact, and I am really glad I called them. Roger answered my call and said he was on a long 2+ hour job (turned out to be a roof re-seal). He said if I needed immediate help to call some other mobile services, otherwise it would be several hours before he could get to me. Well after unsuccessful attempts to get any mobile services to answer my calls, I told Roger he was my only option. True to his word after he finished client's roof, he called me back and said he was on his way. He was on time, was a very pleasant man, and like another reviewer said, hard-working. At the end of the day, he was thorough and resolved my RV issue in a timely manner. He was a joy to talk to, and he provided valuable guidance on continued upkeep of my RV. When I went to pay him for his services, I was genuinely pleased at what he charged for his service...reasonable, fair, and honest. He could have easily charged me much more given my circumstances. I hired this company to diagnose an issue with my RV slide and paid $200 for the service call…read more Their conclusion was that the motors needed to be replaced, and I was told they would follow up with a quote for parts and labor. Instead, I contacted BAL, the manufacturer of the slide system, directly. BAL recommended a retrofit repair kit as the proper fix, which I purchased myself for $160. That kit includes two new motors. Once I had the OEM-recommended parts, I asked this company for a labor-only quote. After multiple follow-ups, they declined to even provide one, stating their technician "has not had good luck" with these retrofit kits and that they were not comfortable performing the repair. That's the part I find most frustrating. The retrofit kit still involves replacing the same motors they originally diagnosed as failed. If they were not comfortable performing the manufacturer-recommended repair, that should have been disclosed upfront -- before I paid for a diagnosis and spent time sourcing the solution myself. I appreciate their honesty in ultimately admitting their limitations, but that honesty came after the fact, not before. In the end, I paid $200, got no repair, no quote, and no clear path forward until I handled it myself. Future customers should ask upfront whether the technician is experienced with their specific slide system and whether they are willing to quote labor separately before paying for a diagnosis.

He sat in the inner office at the desk looking at the computer screen for more then 3 minuets while I stood there asking him questions. This guy Trent seemed to be lazy. On my way out I talked to one of the mechanics. The mechanic (I didn't get his name) gave me a lot of information and was very informative about the service I needed but still didn't seem to want to work on my motorhome. The mechanic mentioned that the shop charges $200.00 an hour. I told him I was going to take my money and go somewhere else and find a shop that was willing to do the job. Im Not going back to this shop... This shop has Horrible Customer Service. I really don't see how they stay in business.....

I was shocked by the unprofessionalism. I calmly replied, "Excuse me, sir, please show some respect. I haven't disrespected you; I am just asking for your standard pricing for this service." He then yelled, "You don't tell me how to run my business!" At that point, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Not the kind of problem you want to deal with on a trip. I called Nick and he responded right away. He made time to come out the same day. He diagnosed the issue quickly and knew exactly what was wrong. The automatic transfer switch had failed. Instead of delaying the repair, he tracked down the part himself, picked it up, and came back to install it. That level of effort matters when you are on a tight timeline.
