Valley Smash Rage Room in Tarzana is everything you didn't know you needed! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel safe and explained the experience. Decked out in full gear(provided by VS), we got to unleash all the stress of the week, the year, the day, in the most cathartic way possible: by smashing things with bats, crowbars, and hammers, in a graffiti-covered room, all to the rage music of your choice. My friends and I walked in ready to go and walked out laughing, lighter, and a little tired (the adrenaline crash). Whether you're looking to release some steam or just do something fun and different, this is the place. VS gets major Bonus points for the Instagram-worthy setup. we got some great photos & video that we'll be laughing about for awhile! Valley Smash isn't just a rage room, it's a full-body experience I think everyone should use, coupled with therapy sessions. We'll be back (probably very soon)!

SLAYED IT the venue: comfy and private. got to enjoy the night in the smash room and truly felt like the whole place was for us. definitely need to try the axe throwing next!! felt safe, clean, and has a cozy vibe to it. there's parking in the lot for customers to come in to. front door may be locked, if there is a party utilizing the smash room. the axe throwing area was open so we went from there. the main event: felt safe with the gear we put on (not pictured: secured face masks and also a jumpsuit with gloves. it does get a bit hot because the adrenaline was going, there's a fan to circulate the air flow. got to play songs from my personal playlist too. felt spacious and roomy. the break wall is fun and vibrant. and prior to us going, the room was cleaned up and ready for us to start hitting and cracking at things. the customer service: like i said Jody you are the main squeeze! thanks for truly taking care of us, checking in, and sharing laughs. you captured the memories as we got to live in the moment. sean, thank you for being so kind and wholesome too!! truly felt like we knew both of yall forever even though tonight was the first night we met. you made us feel welcome and special. thank you both. it's such a gift to find such dope and genuine people, all the more reason to tell everyone about yall and visit again. i will never stop raving about places with great customer service. this is one of em. would we go back?: YES. 100% pricing is very reasonable and so is the packages offered with the time frame. i recommend this spot for the hospitality and the venue. if you're thinking about going, STOP THINKING AND JUST GO. thanks lovely gents, we had a SMASHING time see yall both soon !

Great experience! The folks running this place are chill and take good care of you with clearly explaining the deal, do's and don'ts, and gearing you up to have fun. Come prepared to get suited up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They have tunes on hand to get the rage flowing and offered to let us have our own tunes, if we wanted. They also do a great job of setting up your phone in a safe place to record the session and do a photo shoot at the end. This place also has axe throwing, which I didn't try, but that's a future thing.m to do. I would recommend stopping by, having a conversation with the folks, and giving it a try for a fun time! read more

I came here as a way to celebrate my 31st birthday as it's something I've been interested in doing for years. It was such a welcoming environment and positive experience from the moment we arrived. The entire experience was very explained and demonstrated by the team, and every questions we had were answered. I loved the idea that they allow you to make your own playlist or use one of their own if needed. Being in the room itself was an awesome experience; it over exceded my expectations. My 3 nieces had such a great time as well. It's such a great way to blow off some steam and it's now a new way for me to practice self care lol. Wish I could give this place more stars! I've been to a popular Rage Room in LA and this topped that! The protection gear is clean, the gloves are nice and padded, plus your room has a fan + a speaker for your choice of music! Customer service was 10/10! Super friendly host I wish I got his name. Plus the owner was near by cheering us on and threw in a computer screen for us to smash. It was such a fun experience. We will definitely be coming back and for more sessions soon! read more

Super fun! The owner is so nice, was able to accommodate us early when our dinner reservation finished early. I recommend choosing a few songs they can play for you but he did a great job curating a few for us last minute and my husband and I had an amazing time for his birthday! They provide coveralls (the ones we wore were a bit big and slipped down over my shoes, slightly smaller size would be good), gloves, and masks and sanitize in between uses. Very very fun time, my husband and I were laughing the whole time, we made several games between throwing and smashing things. We will definitely be back! read more

So much fun!! I did the rage room. I definitely need to go back once a month, it was great therapy. if you want specific songs, go prepared with a playlist. I luckily had my gym playlist and was able to play it. I would recommend more than 15 minutes, I wanted more time. If you plan to go out after, keep in mind that you will more than likely sweat doing the rage room. read more

Such a great experience for the first time doing one of these rooms. My girlfriend and I went for her birthday, the staff was so nice and even hooked it up with extra items. We were able to connect to the Bluetooth speaker and play our own music which made it that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to let loose and have a great time! The youngest of us being my 10 year old daughter, our minds all went different directions when the clock started ticking, but with a hint (or two- maybe 3) we figured it out with 7 minutes to spare! One of the things I'd say was a tad frustrating was that the hints given were often things we already had done, or understood and then they'd kind of skip forward a bit to the next one when we said "did that" - so I don't know if it's an automated list of hints they have to go through or if the game master can actually intervene with specifics and is watching but it didn't seem like they had known where we were at right away. My daughter was actually bummed when it was over so we definitely will have to try out another room one of these days!

She's not only a wonderful instructor but also just a really nice person who clearly loves what she does. I would absolutely love to take another class with her again. Paint Me a Party hosted an in office corporate event for a group of about 15 of us and we all had a…read moregood time and were able to walk away with a nice painting. All the paint brushes, paint, canvas and easel were all set up for us at individual stations in our office. Our instructor was great and guided us through step by step on the painting. For me being a fairly unartistic person, I was impressed with the final output I ended up with. Fun and relaxing event overall!

When therapy wasn't quite enough and even my usual workouts weren't hitting the spot, I decided to give this rage room a try and it was exactly what I needed. I walked out feeling completely refreshed, like a huge weight had been lifted! The experience is so cathartic, and it's all done in a safe, controlled environment. The owner is an absolute gem! He's super friendly, incredibly welcoming, and went out of his way to ease any nerves I had about the process. Sean was so informative and kind and answered all my questions very kindly. Jody was the guy that helped me for my session. I was there to get out a lot of feelings and emotions concerning the 2 year anniversary of my husband's passing. Even though I go to grief counseling, this session REALLY helped me.. At the end of my session, I was crying, ALOT,, Jody slowly walked in the room, and gave me a wonderful hug. I didn't expect this kind of kindness from both Sean and Jody. The rage room was such a fun and stress-relieving experience! The staff was friendly and made sure we felt comfortable and safe before getting started. The protective gear was provided, the instructions were clear, and the setup was perfect for letting loose. It was absolutely worth it and a great addition to celebrating my birthday.
