My wife, my son, my son's friend, and I all had an absolute blast. We celebrated my son's 13th birthday on September 7. We booked a large party room a month in advance, and the staff explained everything clearly, including all the prices. The team here is just amazing -- very polite and attentive! Our reservation was for 1:00 PM. When we arrived, the room was still being cleaned, but they fully compensated for the short delay by extending our party time. Everything was organized perfectly: beautiful table settings, tablecloths, and a comfortable room. David was with us that day, and the schedule was planned down to the minute -- when the games started, when it was time to eat, when the kids had free time. There was time for the cake and a second round of games as well. A special thank you for the help at the end -- they collected all the gifts neatly and even helped carry them to the car. Several staff members cleaned the room afterward, so it was done quickly and smoothly. The kids had an amazing time playing laser tag, and I was thrilled that I didn't have to worry about a single thing. This is truly a wonderful place with full service and great attention to detail! Love Ultrazone Laser Tag!! It's hands down a top Location Based Entertainment (LBE) venue in this area for children and families. As always I don't like to write reviews UNLESS I visited the place multiple times. Having been here several times and twice for birthday parties I can say this place won us over as a top destination for kids on the weekends. First of all, having four children and having designed LBE's in the past, I'm sort of an expert in this space. In order to be a successful LBE, the children, the parents, and the operator need to be all winners. That is why laser tag venues are dying these days because they have high maintenance and usually lose money. Ultrazone Laser Tag made it different because they have a good variety of games in the arcade and private rooms for parties as a starter. Then they make laser tag and the arcade exclusive for each party on individual time allotment which make the experience special for the party attendees. Children get to interact with their friends not only through friendly competition in laser tag but also extra time in the arcade with each other and their families. What stood out for me is that the parties can bring in their catered foods land even set up food stands in the patio for their guests. This definitely beat out most of the lousy and outrageously priced foods at 99% of the LBE's. Lastly I asked myself if I would host a party for my children. It was my second time here even though I didn't remember coming in the first time but they have revamped little. They have validation for free for two hours of parking. There is $13 of gameplay for each game. Very affordable and great for large parties. They also have arcade as well. This place is packed from when they open to when they close. The staff is friendly and filled with personality. As I mentioned before, my friends and I paid for three games. You'd think hearing the rules over and over again would be boring, but each time we had a different member of the staff explain the game and I really appreciated how they made the presentation their own! Games feel too short, but it's prob cause I sucked and kept getting womped by 10 yr olds. We celebrated our daughter's 10th birthday here at Ultrazone! I initially called and spoke with Angel to inquire about making a reservation for about party of 20-25 guests. He was pleasant, provided information and answered all my questions. I received an email for a temporary 24-hour hold to keep the time slot for me which allowed me to time before making a decision. I called back the next day and provided a $100 deposit for the reservation which was applied to the balance during the day of the event. Prior to the event, I called to inquire for accommodation of a larger party and ended up selecting the exclusive weekend party package. It included the North Garden Room which was extended with another area to fit our party of 48. The rooms were private, spacious, and decorated with string of lights and plants which had a cute garden feel to them. Green and blue colored air balloons and table clothes decorated the tables. Plates, cups, napkins, plastic utensils, serving spoons and tongs, ice bucket, and cupcake stands were provided and set up. We had unlimited drinks including pitchers of various drinks of our choice which included lemonade, fruit punch, soda, and water. We brought in our own food, small bottled waters, and party favor bags. Our hosts Sophia and Emily were amazing, sweet, patient, very attentive, thorough, and efficient. They provided us with the brief agenda, with updates throughout the event, coordinated with other staff members on set up, clean up, and coordinated timed events with all guests in the rooms, to the laser tag areas, arcade area, and back to our room for food, drinks, and cake time. We had soooo much fun! We had close to 45 players with kids and adults randomly placed into red, blue and green teams. Prior to each game, we had a quick debrief in a separate room to go over safety rules and instructions. Our hosts were funny and made us laugh! There were two 12 minute laser tag games, one which was held near the beginning of the event, and one which was held near the end of the event. We had time to eat and play at the arcade in between the laser tag games. The laser tag areas were spacious, air conditioned, with fun dance music playing! Our hosts walked around during the games to ensure safety is maintained which included no running. Thank you again to Angel, our hosts Sophia, Emily, and manager Andrew for making our experience and special day stress free, event running smoothly, and every moment fun, enjoyable and memorable! There is parking at the structure in the plaza. Ultrazone is located on the second floor. Parking was validated for 2 hours. There is also a public parking across the way on Dickens St. for $6 all day. read more

We had a great time at Ultrazone in Sherman Oaks! Games are $13/game/person. It's roughly 10 minutes of instructions and 12 minutes of play. Non-playing adults can supervise without paying for a ticket. We went on a Sunday between 1-3pm. It was packed but the crowd was constantly changing as birthday parties came and went. It's super loud inside the arcade/waiting area. There's loud music playing on top of all the people talking. All the staff we encountered were pleasant. The games ran smoothly and all the equipment seemed to operate well. Nice assortment of arcade games. You can buy tokens to play the arcade games from a machine using credit card. Most games costs 4 tokens. They have a parking lot behind the building which was free with validation. read more

Not a ton of room. No place to sit unless your party sprang for the private room--those private parties don't include food either, just unlimited soda...whatever. Staff was friendly.
