My son recently got hurt playing soccer and we were able to get in to be seen fairly quickly. Once…read morewe checked in, we waited about 15 minutes before they took us back. From there, the waits were maybe 5 minutes between the dr coming in to when he was taken for X-rays. They were great with making sure he was a comfortable as possible and answered all my questions and concerns. Would highly recommend AFC. Tip - check in online so your wait isn't as long.

There is no doctor. I went there with an ear infection that had also gone into my eyes. Walked in…read moreand no one was waiting. Young lady at the window was nice. Filled out paperwork then waited and waited over 45 minutes. Paid $199 as I don't have insurance. Was finally brought to the back and a nice lady took my vitals and brought me to an exam room. All the exam rooms doors were open. I was the only one there. Waited 15 more minutes. A young man came in and said he was a physicians assistant. Ok well I'm here now so. We talk for one minute then he starts the exam. He looks in my ears and says I need lavage. Weird because I do that every couple of months. He stops the exam and says he'll be right back. Another 15 minutes later he says yes I need that and it's an extra charge. He wouldnt tell me how much. So, I asked if I could shoot home real quick and do that myself and come straight back within the hour. He said if I leave that's the end of the visit and would have to pay again. I said, jeez it seems like you guys are all about the money here. He steps toward me and says "don't even go there". So after paying $199 to see a doctor, now I have a PA telling me I can't question why I got a one minute exam and they want more money. He wouldn't check my eyes, he wouldn't check the rash on different parts of my body, he wanted more money and I wasn't allowed to question that. He said it in a mildly aggressive way. He never even told me how much more money this would cost. That was enough for me. I walked out and told the lady in the front I felt like I was ripped off and I expected my money back. I did not get a refund and this money grubbing corporation had texted me that someone would contact me for a resolution. Almost a month later and nothing. This is a test case as to how our healthcare system is totally broken. I went to an urgent care in San Fernando and met Dr Parray. $150 and a 5 minute exam and he prescribed ear and eye drops, and a cream for the rash that did the trick for me. He called me 2 days later to follow up with the treatment. He's a nice older doctor that has seen it all and cares for everyone he sees. AFC doesn't even have a Dr they have an aggressive PA and they only care about siphoning money from your insurance company. Don't waste your time or money.

I had a truly outstanding experience at Exer Urgent Care during my visit on March 12, 2026. Even…read morethough the clinic was very busy, the entire team remained professional, organized, and incredibly welcoming from start to finish. I would especially like to recognize Brenda, Maria Florenciano, and Dr. Carmelle Silveo for the exceptional care they provided. Each of them took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my visit. What impressed me the most was that they did not rush the process despite the high patient volume. They made sure I received the proper evaluation and testing, while also explaining everything clearly so that I could fully understand what was happening and feel confident about the care I was receiving. Their attention, patience, and compassion truly gave me peace of mind. It is clear that this team takes pride in the care they provide and truly values their patients. Experiences like this make a stressful situation much easier, and I am very grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown to me. Thank you again to Brenda, Maria Florenciano, and Dr. Carmelle Silveo for going above and beyond. Exer Urgent Care is very fortunate to have such an amazing team.

Nurse Michael Scott, though he did not introduce himself, overheard the conversation and provided his insight. Did I get the information that I needed, yes. If this was a gas station that would be totally acceptable. I am a mother who is concerned for the well-being of her son, scared, deprived of sleep because our regular pediatrician is closed on the weekend. What I expected was the basic, kindness and warmth most doctors give, especially when a child is involved Instead, Nurse Scott was rude, short & condescending. If I knew how to correctly diagnose my son I would not be seeking help from professionals. What might seem to be basic information to you Nurse Scott may not be for the general public- so the snub attitude was unnecessary. Thankfully my son was out of earshot when you started to talk about anal sex and how that could likely be a reason for what I thought was going on with my 4 year old son. Lastly, it's about 9am Sunday June 28th 2026, you all have been open for an hour now. I hope by now you have warmed up and the next patients that come in do not have the same experience that I had. I pray that whatever you saw in us that was undeserving of an introduction of a doctor, understanding, empathy & patience changes.

I'm reviewing this as someone who came here for some outpatient radiology testing…read more Big thank you to Chris in Admin for being patient as he sorted through some of the paperwork I brought in. He never lost his cool even though it required multiple calls to my doctor's office. He was helpful, efficient, and thorough. And everyone who works here that I've encountered has been friendly. One of the ladies at the front desk of radiology was wonderfully proactive in checking when a technician could come and see me. Much appreciated. Biggest down side is if you park in the lot to the right of the hospital (near Renaissance Imaging), you have to walk a ways to get to the hospital entrance. And if you want validation, you may get a bit of a run around. To get my ticket validated, security referred me to Admin's front desk. Admin's front desk referred me to security and radiology to get it. When I went to radiology, they had to run to the front where security was because they ran out of validation stickers.

While I'm grateful for the medical treatment itself, the way I was treated by portions of the nursing staff was unacceptable. Throughout my stay, I felt ignored, talked down to, and treated with a complete lack of compassion and respect. Instead of feeling cared for during a vulnerable moment, I felt like I was an inconvenience. I also personally observed a member of the nursing staff asleep at the nurses' station while I was still a patient, which raised concerns about attentiveness and patient care. Every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, professionalism, and empathy. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I have filed or am filing formal complaints with the appropriate hospital departments and regulatory agencies so these concerns can be investigated. I sincerely hope the hospital takes these concerns seriously and works to improve how patients are treated.
