I set up my appointment 2 weeks in advance and nobody showed up during the scheduled time. I left multiple messages via phone , text and email. I have not received any return messages. I have moved all my furniture and am expecting to have my tile cleaned. The next day I called again and still have not received a call back. This company is completely unprofessional and unreliable. DO NOT use this company. I purchased a Groupon and proceed to make 5 calls, 2 texts, and 2 emails to make an appointment. She called me back 11 days after my initial call and told me "I was a hard person to get a hold of". However, my phone tracks all calls and she had only called 2 times, and it was 11 days after I started calling, texting, and emailing the company. She called my main office line and I heard my front desk staff, who took the call, say they could transfer her back to my line and she didn't want to be transferred. When I called her back she denied it - even though I had heard the entire conversation. I cancelled my Groupon and won't do business with them. I don't like to leave bad reviews - I get this is folks livelihood, but I don't want folks to have this same experience. Maybe this review will encourage them to up their customer service. read more

I purchased their services for tile cleaning through Groupon. I followed the directions and called their number which no one ever answers. Per message on answering machine I sent a text...per their message someone would get back with me within 24 hours...that was 10 days ago. I have also left a voice mail, sent an e-mail and sent another text message. If I can give them a negative, I will. I wont even put a star because they're beyond that. Worst service, worst quality of work you can ever get. Save your money! You think you get a better deal with this company, but you're not. They were beyond late on their scheduled appointment and not giving you any courtesy call. The staff is always on the phone talking and texting while cleaning the floor,( supposedly) but he doesn't know how to clean it right. Dirt on the grout was still there. I thought the grout will be cleaner and whiter like it was before. He cleaned the floor for about 15-20 minutes for an area of 650-700 sqft (the first stage of the whole process) because he stops all the time and go out to talk and text and missed a lot of spot and dirt on the grout. Travertine floor was not shiny as I expected it to be compared to other company I hired before. It is very dull and it's horrible. I wasted money and time to have this done. You will save time and money to hire another company because the work will be done right and to your expectation. It might show a higher price but you will be happier and satisfied. Be aware, be careful and read all the recent reviews because they are all telling the truth. I gave the company a benefit of the doubt after I read the reviews and still hire them but I should have followed their advices. Spend a little more money to hire another company and you will be satisfied. Don't waste your hard earned money. read more

I can only think the positive reviews are fake. I called and asked about the ACTIVE yelp deal, they said it was no longer valid. They gave me an appointment between 10-12 and said they would be there at 12 because I let them know I had somewhere to be at 1pm. I was waiting all morning and calling the office because the technician did not call me and no one answered. He ultimately called me at 11:15 and said he was 10 minutes away. Flash forward to 12:15 when he actually shows up. I called the main office and the secretary was incredibly rude and said "do you want your floors done or not" when I said I want to speak to the supervisor she said "this won't help you at all" and I said that I would still like to speak to the supervisor and she HUNG UP the PHONE. Since the tech was there, I let him finish and he had to leave the key hidden in my yard as I had to leave before he did. The floor is patchy at best and I still do not have a phone number for the owner OR A RECEIPT, which I requested. This is not a legitimate business given the practices and the cash only payments. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They cancelled on me 3 times. When they cancelled the 3rd time they said they'd do a free room of carpet cleaning. When they finally did show up, they showed up unexpectedly 2 1/2 hours before the appointment time. The tile didn't look any cleaner after they left, plus they got my carpet all dirty. When I mentioned the free room of carpet cleaning, he said he didn't have any note of that. The service was supposed to cover 1100 ft of tile, but they refused to do that unless I paid them an extra $85 because part of the tile was upstairs. When I questioned that and read them the ad, which said nothing about that, they asked if I wanted them to leave. It was the worst customer service I've had in a long time. They lied and were fraudulent in their advertising. They should be put out of business! read more

I used their service for cleaning my lanai saltillo tile. Great result. The flooring hadn't been truly "cleaned" in years. Darrell came out, gave me a quote and told me what result I could expect. The day of the appointment they were right on time and knocked out the job in no time. The floor truly looks better now than it did when it was first placed. I could not be happier with the result. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Had seen their ad in both Groupon and Amazon Local Deals. Decided to give them a try. Looked at their website and it was having the same deal as Groupon/Amazon so I call them directly. The lady I spoke to was very nice and informative. I told her I was interested in purchasing 1000 sq. feet of tile and grout cleaning and sealing as part of the special they running. I informed her I had approx. 500 sq. feet downstairs and some bathrooms upstairs. She informed me, "That would not be a problem. We can do that as part of this special." She also informed me that we would need to have all furniture and rugs removed off the tile prior to them arriving. We scheduled the appointment for 2 weeks out for a Saturday appointment at 12:00-1:00pm. The same lady called to confirm the appointment the day prior and was VERY pleasant. I once again stated what I wanted done and she informed me that is correct and they will be at my house around noon. I received a call around noon on our scheduled day stating they were on there way and would arrive shortly. We had moved everything off the tile as per their instructions (kitchen table, rugs, etc.), no a real easy job if you saw how much furniture we had to move. As of this moment everything was going great. I had no complaints at all. When they showed to my house they started getting everything ready to do the job. I mentioned to Darrel ( who I later found out was the owner) that we had about 500 sq. feet downstairs and 3 bathrooms upstairs ( which by the way totals approx. 200 sq. feet, so I was paying for 1000 and only getting 700-750 done). Darrel then pulled out the ad they had on Groupon that shows that there is an additional cost for multilevel floors. I informed him I did not go through Groupon or Amazon and that I went straight through the company website and when I explained it to the lady over the phone she stated that everything was covered. He then once again stated " It is an extra charge." So I responded in a VERY level-headed, calm manner," Ok. No problem. We will do just the bottom level. But this would be a good learning moment and some good feedback to the receptionist to make sure she is providing the correct information to customers going forward. We will just do the bottom level." At which point the owner, Darrel, responded, " Do you want me to leave?" I said "No. You can do the bottom level and not worry about the upstairs bathrooms." At that point he started cleaning up his stuff and hollered at his assistant "We are leaving." And they loaded up their stuff and left. All the while he was complaining how rude I was and that he did not need the money that bad. We did not even get to discuss the fact that if they were doing only the basement level (500 sq. feet) why were they charging me for 1000 sq feet? It was the strangest damn thing I have every seen in my life. Maybe he did not care that a client was looking for clarity on a misquote on the job. Maybe he was having a bad day. I do not know. The fact that he is the owner of this company makes me think that he does not take pride in his work and feels that his business is beneath servicing the clients in a way that is very professional. I would not recommend this company due to the OWNERS complete and total lack of professionalism. read more

Darrel and his crew did not do a "5 star" job with my travertine. Nor, will he finish the job. I paid two different feees for my floor to be shiny. There is no difference between the before and his "finished" product. I arranged for him to come a second time to improve the shininess. I called the day of, half an hour after the appointment time, and he told me he wasn't going to be able to make it. He then asked me to explain why he was coming again. I did. He kept questioning things. I finally told him that I felt that I had been ripped off. With that, he told me that he refuses to work with me further and will give me some money back, not even half of the extra fees I paid. I told him that I was not happy with that, and that's all he would do. I have since sent him an email with pictures, only to be ignored. I do not reccommend him or his services. He was quite the salesman and convinced me that he, as a former marine, had figured everything out for the best results. Do not fall for this, as you will receive mediocre results with very poor customer service. read more

I had an appointment for 9am-the gentlemen showed up at 9:45 and was gone by 10:15- When he left he told me to wait a half hour and then wipe up any water left on the tile. We purchased a Groupon for $179.00 for up to 1000 square feet. I will never use this company again read more

We live in a fairly new home but have 3 dogs that track in a lot of dirt. Although our grout is not black or excessively dirty, we expected to see the high traffic areas restored to look similar to the lesser used areas, but after cleaning and sealing it looks exactly the same as before the tech arrived. Maybe a lack of knowledge on my part, but the before and after photos sure seemed appealing and lead me to believe the grout would look closer to it's original color. Additionally, we purchased 1000 sq.ft. of cleaning and didn't realize there was a charge to walk up stairs. We only used 558/1000 sq.ft. and the tech wanted to charge another $80 to do the remaining 82 sq.ft. upstairs. When I spoke with the tech, Darrel Luth, a day later, he explained the multi-floor fee, which i can accept but expressed my disagreement based on the fact it was only 82 more sq.ft to clean. He then proceeded to tell me to shove a huge dildo up my a** and that karma is a bitch, almost threatening me, because i mentioned posting this information on social media so others don't make the same mistake (not realizing there's a fee to go upstairs). I tried telling him he's not who i should speak with since he clearly wasn't in customer service, and I get his frustration, but going from 0-100 like that was truly baffling. He also compared my IT job to his floor cleaning job and that I don't know what i'm talking about, just the same as he wouldn't tell me how to do my job. I even partially agreed that I'm not a floor cleaning expert, but your own product descriptions show that your grout will look clean again, and mine did not. I wrapped it up with asking if he was owner, he replied 'no', and said I would be calling the office to complain. He was perfectly fine with me telling his manager that he offered to 'shove a huge dildo' up my a** for me. Update: I've since learned that Darrel Luth is the owner, thus why he didn't mind telling me to shove a dildo up my a**. I should go ahead and file a BBB claim, oh wait you're already an F rating with a current violation. read more

Found this place through Living Social and even checked reviews prior to purchasing. Called and scheduled the appointment with a lady, who sounded half asleep and even at times sounded like she was slurring her words. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and went through with scheduling the appointment. She told me they would be calling me the day before they were to come clean my tile and go over preparations and give me a better idea on what time they would be coming. That day came and I never got a call. I called them first thing the next morning to confirm that they were still coming that day and got their voicemail. I continued to try and reach them, but still no answer, so I ended up leaving a voicemail. Several hours later still no return call back. I tried calling one last time and the same lady who had scheduled the original appointment picked up the phone and told me she didn't have me down for an appointment today. Once again it sounded like she was slurring her words. She acted as if this was the first time she had talked to me when I had just talked to her less than two weeks prior! She told me she could then schedule me in another week, I told her don't bother I would be contacting Living Social for a refund! Completely unprofessional and flaky!! I have NEVER been treated so horribly as a customer in my life! Darrel, the owner, called me a LOSER and then threatened to destroy my own business and sue me if I left a negative review. To back up: We called Valleywide Stonecare to clean our grout and were told by the technician that our grout would literally be 80-100% cleaner when they were completed. Not only is our grout not even 1% better after the service, when I came home there was a giant OIL STAIN in my driveway! We tried with several emails and voicemails to the company to get this addressed and received not even the courtesy of a response. When Darrel, the owner, finally called me back he was yelling into the phone and told me that I was crazy, I was a loser, and that he didn't care about me and didn't want my business. There is obviously MUCH more that I could say, but I will just leave it at this. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH VALLEYWIDE STONECARE. If or when they do a bad job, not only will you not have any recourse, you will be sure to be berated and belittled by their owner. read more

Purchased a voucher for tile cleaning through Amazon local. Voucher states up to 1100 sq feet, my house has 660 sq ft of tile. Day arrives for service. They tell my husband that it will be an additional $75 for 2 bathrooms upstairs. They do part of the job and the equipment breaks down. When I arrived home and questioned why there was an extra charge when there was nothing in the ad about upstairs costing extra, I am told that the original ad says first floor only. I reread the ad - no such thing. Worst part: I get accused of trying to cheat them and the guys throws a fit in my entryway. Tile guy reads the ad and does not back down. He stomps off muttering insults. Final outcome: I am left with a soapy floor, dirty tiles, enough stress to last me til next week. I did get my money back but what an unpleasant experience. False advertising, atrocious customer service, and just plain dumb since he'd already invested several hours and two trips to my house. read more

After being promised our grout would come back to like new color, we decided to hire this company for grout, and carpet cleaning services. They offered a complete cleaning, and sealer. The guys were in and out in about 40 minutes. When asked about the sealing process, they stated the sealer is in the cleaning solution. Although this seemed ridiculous, we had no choice but to accept it. Right away the grout looked exactly the same as before they arrived. When questioned, they said its because of the moisture, and when it dried, we would see the difference. Well you guessed it. The following day after drying completely, the grout looked exactly the same as before! I called to company, and left several messages or the following month or so. I never received a returned call. Finally a lady answered at the office. I explained the situation, and politely requested a refund on the grout cleaning portion of the money I paid them. She explained that they never offer a refund, but would be willing to come out and clean the grout again. I agreed that we would be okay with that, and we settled on a date that would work for us. Their first available appointment was about 2 weeks out. After completely changing my schedule, and making arrangements to be home for the cleaning this time, we received a phone call from Darrel. He was very rude, and stated that he was 1.5 hours away, and needed to take care of this over the phone. Obviously I was puzzled, and said how can you guys clean the grout over the phone. He responded by saying they absolutely will never clean the grout again, and that he was only coming to look at the tile!!!!!! I explained everything to him, but he refused to understand. He said he had before/after pictures he could send. I will be forwarding everything to my attorney, and see how he recommends to proceed. We originally found this company through Groupon, but they recommended going through them directly, for the same deal. I would strongly suggest not doing business with this company. read more

Be afraid!, be very afraid! This company was hired by a maid service who damaged my brand new travertine tile custom built shower by using a harsh chemical that left streaks in the tile. Valleywide Stonecare assured me they could fix the damage by honing and buffing it out & then resealing. Suddenly, they arbitrarily decided they would not do the thorough job promised & rather then honing & buffing as arranged, they just went ahead and sealed over it. This was a costly mistake as they sealed in the damage, making it even harder to return to its original condition. The shower looks significantly worse than it did immediately following the damage. When contacted to fix their subpar work, Darell personally insulted me and attempted to get me to okay ripping out my tile and destroying the shower and my bathroom wall, rather than just doing their job & fixing their work. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company of this nature and would not recommend them to my worst enemy read more

I took off work to have them come and do my tile, only to find out the scheduler put me down for the wrong day (made 5 weeks prior) even when I confirmed for my appointment day, then she couldn't get me in for 2 more weeks. I scheduled Another day off work and they call me hours before my appointment to tell me all the trucks are in for repairs and they want me to reschedule again. NO WAY!!! The recording says hours are from 8-3. No one ever answers the phone, then you leave a message they call you back hours later or they say they never got the message. They might offer great deals but I would have to say the office person has turned me away from this buisness because of her careless attitude of their costly mistakes. Costing your customers money for days off only to be treated with a who cares attitude. NO THANKS!!!! I really wish I could have experienced some of the great reviews of Darrel and Justin's work. read more
