I held off on writing a negative review for a long time because I know the owner has been dealing with health issues, but at this point, enough is enough. Summer 2025: I brought in my dead watch for repair. Leonel promised to contact me the following day with a diagnosis and estimate. He never did. Fall 2025: Over several months, I called, texted, messaged on Yelp, and stopped by in person. Most of the time his voicemail was completely full. Finally, I caught him in the shop, he told me he took the watch home to work on it and would follow up. Late Nov 2025: He finally texted saying it needed an aftermarket movement and would be ready by early December. Present: Ghosted again. Unanswered texts, full voicemail box, no response to Yelp messages, and the shop has been closed during posted business hours every time I've stopped by. It has literally been a full year and I still don't have my watch back. At this point, I don't even care about getting it repaired, I just want my returned. Advice for prospective clients: If you insist on using his services, only bring in simple jobs he can complete right in front of you while you wait. Otherwise, you risk falling into the same endless black hole that I, and several other recent reviewers have experienced.

Even Paval didn't understand why it was just sitting there for 3 weeks with no contacts. So I decided not to do it with them. So it took another week or 2 to ship it back to Macy's. 2 months of wasted time, I went to Maze Jewelry in Serramonte and they quoted me 60 dollars for repair. No additional charges, just a flat 60 dollars and my necklace was replaced within 1 week. Will definitely not be using them again.

I stopped buying jewelry here and went downtown to the jewelry exchange a whole block of vender with quality and better pieces. Truly customized pieces as well that will compete so you can go back and forth and hustle the prices down.

I was browsing around the mall when I saw Valliani Jewelers and decided to take a look around. I was immediately met by smiling faces. AJ (the store manager) started talking to me and asked me what I was looking for. I told him I was looking for a special Mother's Day/birthday gift for my mom and was interested in diamond earrings, a diamond bracelet, or necklace. AJ welcomed me into the store where he and another associate, Alicia, took their time and showed me all the items they thought I would like that they had available. They let me try on various pieces and were very patient with me. I in no way felt pressured to purchase anything. Both AJ and Alicia were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Ultimately, AJ showed me a diamond necklace that had me sold! He offered a deal I could not refuse for both the necklace and pair of diamond earrings. Shane was a lovely lady I encountered when I walked in she just said hello and asked if I needed some help... I told her I'm just looking then I saw it an Aztec Calendar gold pendant (it was badass) I was curious to see how much it was so I asked she said about 3k. Shane and Jason started running more numbers to see what it would cost being financed monthly and how many years to pay it off. I wasn't sure about the purchase but then I met Sultan he seemed cool asking if I liked anything else. You know the process takes a lil longer handling the finance part but then it came out 50 dollars a month for 5 years which I know I'll pay off faster than that so I got it. What I have to say: The experience was just awesome. They made everything they could when making my future wife feeling special and helping us to find the right diamond. I walked in with my mom and we were greeted by Paola, she came up to us very friendly and ask if we needed any help with something in particular. I then told her we were looking for a virgen de Guadalupe pendant, for a baptism gift, she then walked us in and showed us all the lovely selection of religious pendants, and chains. I told her which one caught my eye, she showed me it , she also mention they have free engravings, we also discuss about the original price and then how much it would be after the sale. My wife came into this store and purchased a "Sapphire" ring from this company..we were told it was a genuine sapphire of the highest quality..my wife spent her social security check on this ring..She went back to the store the following day and asked the sales person if it was a natural stone to which she replied no.. when my wife pressed the owner about the issue he reprimanded his sales associate by telling her "why do you have to be specific!" I bought a yellow gold ruby ring here and it was beautiful BUT after a few months the gold base that is holding the ruby is turning silver so finally after a year i have them clean it and ask them about it so of course they tried to say it was a dirt but the funny thing is they just cleaned it. So we insist that it wasn't a dirt and so they said it might take 30 min, so when we finally got the ring back it was so obvious that they color a yellow gold over to everything except the ruby even the little diamond is almost look like yellow. The 80% off discount signage caught my eye, and so my girlfriend and I entered and were greeted by knowledgeable and friendly staff who provided us with a very reasonable price for our rings, especially hers. My girlfriend was more than ecstatic of the choice of her ring and even more excited for the big day to come the following year. During this time, the to be-wife and I followed a strict diet and exercise routine in preparation for our wedding day. We both lost a substantial amount of weight and would later have a fantastic wedding ceremony and reception. Consequently, because I had lost over 20 lbs., I noticed my ring had become looser than it was when I had first bought it, to the point where it could fly off my finger if I flicked my hand hard enough. A year later, I would return to Jewelry Diamond Expo to see if an exchange or resizing was possible. I would meet Fauzia, who would prove to be a huge help in this endeavor. She would inform me that resizing my ring wasn't possible since it is made out of Tungsten (it's virtually indestructible). However, she took my ring size and helped me pick out the correct band by finding out I needed to move down half a size. I had to come in a few times because the ring I chose was still too big. This was my mistake for not bringing the original ring to compare. Despite my shortcomings, Fauzia was still very accommodating and understanding as she showed persistence in helping me find the correct ring. In the end, I found that I couldn't be happier with the fit and design that she found for me. Come to this place if you want prices that are only rivaled by the level of customer service and professionalism.

He's always so accommodating and takes the time to explain exactly what he's going to do. Recently, my boyfriend messed up the fit on his watch trying to adjust it himself. He brought it to Leonel, who not only fixed the issue but did it for free! You don't come across that kind of service often. This shop is a gem -- reliable, fast, and trustworthy. Highly recommend!

I held off on writing a negative review for a long time because I know the owner has been dealing with health issues, but at this point, enough is enough. Summer 2025: I brought in my dead watch for repair. Leonel promised to contact me the following day with a diagnosis and estimate. He never did. Fall 2025: Over several months, I called, texted, messaged on Yelp, and stopped by in person. Most of the time his voicemail was completely full. Finally, I caught him in the shop, he told me he took the watch home to work on it and would follow up. Late Nov 2025: He finally texted saying it needed an aftermarket movement and would be ready by early December. Present: Ghosted again. Unanswered texts, full voicemail box, no response to Yelp messages, and the shop has been closed during posted business hours every time I've stopped by. It has literally been a full year and I still don't have my watch back. At this point, I don't even care about getting it repaired, I just want my returned. Advice for prospective clients: If you insist on using his services, only bring in simple jobs he can complete right in front of you while you wait. Otherwise, you risk falling into the same endless black hole that I, and several other recent reviewers have experienced.

I went in for an initial consultation, I'm not too picky but I had no idea what I wanted because there is so many beautiful options, I knew I would need something customized. She sat with me for almost 2 hours and we finally were able to create my dream ring. They even hand picked a beautifully cut morganite from a jeweler show that sparkled like a diamond. After first appointment I only had to wait a couple weeks to pick up my ring and I love it! Picked it up today with my husband and I was so excited I raced home to take pictures of it on my patio garden. Definitely recommend getting any custom pieces through AB gems! Great prices as well.

Then I'd go to the SF Gold Buyer in San Francisco, out on West Portal, and I'd get double to triple the price. I sold them a very unique fine grass weaved bracelet with a silver clasp, 2 side silver adornments, very plane, & the larger adornment in the middle. I was told by this place that it had no value but the silver that amounted to nothing. I drove over to SF Gold Buyers and the bought it. A week later I saw it in the sale cabinet, and another week later it sold! I sold it to them for $60. They priced it at $120. So, you have to know more than just the value of the metal! These lunkheads have no clue of the value or history of anything but the obvious. Like that Haida silver jewelry is expensive because it's ALL hammered by hand & hand engraved. No melting & casting!! l just want to warn all of you. Go to another place 1st then go to this joint to make sure they know the value of your items!! You'll be surprised, & angry.

My husband had to order his and waited only a few days for the new size but when we picked it up, we noticed a couple of marks on the ring. I did not check the ring before I left so we noticed later on and had to bring it back. Princess helped us throughout our 3- 4 visits and we always had a very nice experience with her so Princess gets 5/5 stars. Unfortunately, when we dropped off the ring with her, we didn't hear back and after over two weeks I called. Luckily I was able to speak with Princess and she had said the ring was ready for pick up three days after we dropped it off. No one had contacted us, and that was very frustrating and unprofessional. So I would always follow up on your end because from my experience, communication is lacking at this location.

His turnaround time is also efficient. - A couple days after our consultations, he sent over digital renderings of the designs we were looking for. - Within a week of time, he sent over pictures of wax models of the rings. - After another week and a half, the wedding bands were ready to be picked up. There was a slight delay, because my design requires specialized diamonds, Eric took a little bit of more time to get them. I wasn't hesitant to check it out at first, but definitely had my eyes and ears open, with a faint of reservation and guards ready. Well, both natural defensive tendencies went away after 10 seconds of meeting Eric & his family. Buying jewelry can be exhausting, and not knowing who to trust spending big bucks could be dangerous. I'm beyond grateful that I was able to find a family who sincerely treat their customers like family, and now we treat them as such as well.
