If your upstairs neighbor throws trash, cat hair in huge, clumps, old pumpkins and cigarette butts in your yard that's just too bad! We had water damage from an upstairs leak - soaked the carpets, ruined books... but no recourse. We were told renters insurance was mandatory and it was our problem, despite our $1000 deductible. The pool looks like a sewer most of the year, and since that was our scenic view we just kept the curtains drawn. Dog-poop pickup rules are never enforced, and if your vehicle tags expire while you're in the hospital they arrange to have your car towed. A few months ago my husband and I had ~$7000 in tools stolen from our storage unit. The evidence seemed to point toward someone on staff, but management refused to look into it. The police asked management to send out a notice informing the rest of the complex about the theft and they neglected to do so. They also said they would fix the door that was broken going into the storage unit and that has yet to happen. This last month they decided to repave the parking (in the most unorganized and inconvenient way possible). For three days straight we had to park and walk from downtown because there was no parking available. People were not happy. Not only that, but they renovated the pool when it was literally in brand new condition. What a waste of funds that could have gone toward cameras in the storage facility or better security for the people living there. The police told us that they were called to Cobblestone frequently for car break ins. You would think after consecutive theft reports that they would do something about it. Rating 3 stars because it's a really nice complex. We loved our apartment and living so close to downtown. Management deserves 1 star.

I was told the $100 holding fee was refundable--then later told it wasn't. The lease was sent backdated, which is unacceptable and invalid. After correcting it, they tried to force a move-in within three days with a $2,500 payment. When I declined, the refund chaos began. Christina Gradiz said 45 days for my refund. Kim said 72 hours. The property manager said no refunds at all. That's not a mistake--that's incompetence or dishonesty. I'm out money for an apartment I never signed for. If you value your time and money, do not rent here.
