Valor Coffee is a great little coffee spot in Downtown Alpharetta. The location of this shop is off of Milton Ave, around the corner from all the hustle and bustle of true Downtown Alpharetta - especially on Farmers Market days. The interior is the bottom level of a Thrive | Co-Working space. It is clean and sleek and offers a decent amount of interior and exterior seating. When this place gets busy, it can definitely interfere with the interior seating due to people standing in line. The exterior is dog-friendly. The coffee is awesome, and they offer seasonal specialty options and flavors which is nice. While they don't offer full breakfast options, they do offer small bites that are quite good.

Excellent customer service, they use your name when speaking to you and do attempt to chat (so it is not too transactional). The space is quite small inside and this place is popular in downtown Alpharetta. They have some cute drink ideas. I went with a boring decaf latte and it was good, but I wished they had simple syrup for me to add myself. Parking available in parking garage nearby.

First and foremost, EVERYONE WORKING HERE IS AN ABSOLUTE TREAT! They are so nice! They are all smiles and have actual conversations with you, which I appreciate. Second, their coffee is top notch. They gave me a sample of the popular nitro lavender oat milk latte, and wowie. It was perfectly balanced with flavors. A little sweet, creamy, and you can taste the smooth coffee. I ended up getting a nitro with the caramel cardamom flavor. I honestly couldn't taste the flavor at all. I'm not sure if they even put it in there, but the nitro by itself is very good. It's not too acidic. It's perfectly balanced and bright. It really can be enjoyed black, but as a girlie who loves a slightly sweet treat, I ended up asking for a splash of the caramel cardamom and I'm glad I did. It is my new favorite flavor. I love this cute, kitschy spot. Come prepped to wait. There was a solid 10+ person line. It moves pretty quickly though, and it's definitely worth it.

Always a full house! It's obvious that the prices are good, the tea is delicious and the donuts are yummy on Friday mornings. Allen served us and was amazing! Fun atmosphere and alot of energy.

Super cute coffee shop in downtown Alpharetta! I visited here with my boyfriend to grab a quick coffee while we were waiting for a brunch reservation nearby. Valor isn't super big, but it was definitely a popular place with lots of people studying or hanging out. Service was quick and they had a lot of options. I got a hot chocolate while my boyfriend got a cortado. The hot chocolate was so rich and yummy and my boyfriend liked his cortado a lot as well. I can't wait to go back and try some of their pastries next time!

Another wonderful to this small and intimate coffee house. Flat white, two kids hot chocolates, and a Clint Eastwood (no spoilers - go and find out for yourself!). This is a great place to work, hang out, or grab a coffee to go before walking the farmers market.

I have tried valor's beans before but never went into the shop myself until today. The shop was so cute and it was Valentine's Day themed with a vday menu. The coffee here is super good. I ordered a latte and a drip coffee and it was really great and floral. The staff here are all so cute and nice, the service was fast despite it being super busy! Overall, my favorite coffee shop so far in Alpharetta.

The cutest coffee shop right smack in the middle of downtown Alpharetta (and conveniently next to Thrive Coworking). I love this place so much! The energy every single employee brings to this tiny little haven goes unmatched. Every one is so lovely and inviting, and the coffee and matcha is also top quality. They always decorate for the different seasons, and also offer seasonal syrups and specialty menus. Seating is limited inside, but there is plenty of outdoor seating on a nice day. I frequent this place weekly, and don't plan on changing that any time soon!

JOEY was the Crème de la crème of my visit. This was my first time at this location and he was absolutely wonderful. I happened to be in the area and had not been to Valor since they moved. It's been many years ago. I was able to find a decent parking spot just steps from Valor. Upon entering the shop to the right is a sitting area with a few tables and a bar along the wall. I also saw seating outside to the right of the entrance. To the left is the counter for ordering, pastries, the menu above and retail items. The iPad at the counter where you order that is used to show the "currently brewing" is a great idea. I ordered a cappuccino and an iced caramel cardamom latte. When I asked about the pastries Joey told me the one I was asking about was a zucchini cheese croissant. The croissant was delicious as was the coffee. It made me wonder who bakes their pastries. I chose the Summer Blend (50% Ethiopia and 50% Kenya) in my drinks. Perfect choice for the cappuccino.

Adorable, inviting, and delicious! What more could you ask for in a coffee shop experience? The barista who took our order was super kind and friendly. She even gave us "1st timer" stickers which I thought was such a sweet touch. Our lattes and pastries were absolutely delicious. Please check this place out if you need a caffeine fix in Alpharetta!

The best coffee shop I've been to. I seriously go here two or three times a week, I can't stay away. The owners are very intentional on making sure you're comfortable and pleased with your experience. The coffee is wonderful, they use Cat & Cloud Coffee out of Santa Cruz, Ca, and everything they whip up for you is going to be delicious. I think I've had every item on the menu now and it's all great. This is the coffee shop of Alpharetta, nothing else in the area compares ( trust me I've tried the others ) Give it a shot, you'll be glad you did. Sooo good and the best atmosphere. A lot of people go there to work or just have a sit-down with friends. There were families, students, professionals, and because of the welcoming staff it had a very warm family feel. The person at the counter was super helpful with choosing what I should get and explained everything well. The food was great as well. Also the surrounding Alpharetta area is so cute with lots of small parks and places to walk around. Definitely one of my bucket list places to come back to. Would highly recommend! read more

I've stopped in here a few times for a cappuccino. It has always been great! Friendly staff and good cafė food. When I was there, the only couch was sitting directly underneath a really strong blower. I would love it if they could add another sofa-style seating area ! Love the coffee and the staff, they are always so lively and energetic. It really encourages me to get my work done. My only complaint is how loud the music is. It was worth the drive to come out to Valor Coffee! There is plenty of seating inside and outside, plus the staff is very friendly. You even get a first timer sticker! I had the Cardamom Caramel latte and it was really smooth, though I wish the flavor came through a little more. It is a little loud for working, but outside is lovely to get stuff done. read more

Hands down the best coffee in Atlanta! Very smooth- not at all bitter. No sugar is needed. The cardamom caramel latte is perfection! The flavors are intense and perfectly balanced. absolutely loved the vibe here! my sister and I went from out of town and I got the iced Fruit Salad Yummy Yummy matcha from the summer menu and it's an oat milk matcha latte with a mint strawberry-peach compote mixed in and oh my it was so good! wish I lived in the area to order it more but hopefully it becomes a menu regular for when I do eventually go back lol would love if valor came to miami! read more

Can't recommend this place enough! The lattes are super delicious and the vibe is really great inside. I stopped in yesterday and ordered an iced latte and accidentally forgot to ask for oat milk since I'm lactose intolerant, no big deal...I went back up to order another and the woman working knew what happened and insisted on giving me the second one for free. I told her it was my fault for forgetting to ask for the right milk but she insisted and gave it to me anyway. It was really delicious and had the perfect amount of ice and milk. They also use metal straws (if you order it for there instead of to-go), which I really like. I definitely suggest coming to this cute coffee shop. They have a really pleasant outdoor seating area as well! read more

Johnathan was oh-so kind from the moment we walked in. Got two lattes, one cold and one hot. Both delicious! The iced latte was a tad better in my opinion. In addition, Johnathan was kind enough to give me some sweets and a sticker for my birthday! It was so kind to go out of his way to do that. I'm not one to write reviews, but this place deserves it. The quality of the coffee is immaculate, but what really makes this place is the staff. They have NEVER been rude or even the slightest bit agitated in the face of their busiest times. They are genuinely the best part of the experience. There's also a separate sunny porch area that is much quieter than the main room. When the noise level inside got a little loud with music and typical coffeehouse chatter, I moved outside. Thankfully parking wasn't too much of an issue but I can see the small private lot being a challenge for large groups. I'm definitely a fan of the pretzel roll I ordered - contrary to its name, it looks like a nothing like a roll but more like a savory flattened croissant which had some slight amount of protein (can't remember if it was chicken or ham) inside. The coffee was good - I try not to be swayed by the beautiful trendy drinks most coffeehouses are serving. I'd certainly come back to this cafe if I were in the area.

My friend got a decaf biscoff latte which was also pretty good. I liked how both drinks weren't overly sweet and the flavors were able to cut the bitterness of coffee. They also have a pretty good assortment of sweet and savory pastries which I do want to try the next time I'm back at this place!

Both of us got 2 different flavors and were charged a dollar more for it. That seems like a rip off and honestly left a bad taste. I thought it'd be a good option compared to Jeni's, but not with pricing like that. The scoops were also considerably smaller than Jeni's and Jeni's is a better deal and a better ice cream in my opinion. I'm not a fan of getting nickel and dimesd for something that shouldn't cost more. I'm sorry it took so much effort to scoop from another flavor. I won't do it again.

After having been customers since last year, raving about how wonderful this "pop up" coffee joint is and how friendly the employees are, when they opened their new space, the atmosphere and attitudes changed. They became less customer oriented and more "money hungry"...almost pushy with add ons...including tips. We have recommended Valor to many friends and recently they have said the same things. We will not be recommending Valor to anyone any more. They have lost our business for good! Downtown Alpharetta doesn't need a "snotty" coffee shop. The last time we were there, we were treated with disrespect for no apparent reason. read more

This cute little coffee shop was buzzing with people when I walked in for a pick-me-up, which was a great sign! The barista was friendly and the shop itself was clean and inviting. I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk and a shot of lavender vanilla. It was absolutely delicious! The only downside was that it wasn't quite hot enough. Incredible coffee in a welcoming, low-key space. I have enjoyed a few different coffees at Valor, and I'll put them up there with any coffee shop in Atlanta. Their Kenya and Ethiopian single-origin coffees have been on point. Not under-developed like you tend to run into. As a bonus, my wife also loves their lavender latte. Valor is quickly becoming my go-to spot, and I'm excited to watch their business continue to grow. read more

All hyperbole aside, this is the best coffee OTP of Atlanta and would give even an ITP shop a run for their money. Especially when you consider that Valor only has a temporary set up. The guys LOVE coffee almost as much as they love their community that supports them. They are passionate about their craft and it shows in every cup they serve you. read more

I stumbled into Valor Coffee one Saturday and loved it. It is tucked away in the corner of coworking place but there is plenty of seating inside and outside so it doesn't feel too crowded. Baristas are very funny and welcoming. If you like espresso they had a speciality menu, I recommend "the middle child." read more
