A nice place inside... very light, open and decadent. The service was great... nice people... however the Carmel Kate I got tasted like just cream. No coffee flavor and no Carmel flavor. There's nothing quite like a good Yemeni coffee shop, and Shibam is all that and more. I'd heard about Shibam when it first opened and knew I had to check it out next time I was in the Atlanta area- and it did not disappoint one bit! It is absolutely gorgeous, with golden accents and lighting, and a bright interior that is so clean and grand feeling. There's tons of seating so you can sit and enjoy. The coffee was perfect. Hot and smooth with a hint of sweet but not overly. I had a Shibam latte which had a lovely bit of spice added to it. Even the pastry we tried was nice, it was moist and came with honey for dipping. I really enjoyed this coffee shop up in Alpharetta! First of all, the space is huge and there is a lot of natural lighting, plenty of tables. So you never have to worry about finding a seat at least when I was there. It could definitely be a coffee shop that I would work at with my laptop. They had a bunch of different types of coffees that were very unique. I ended up getting the pistachio latte hot. If you get it for here, it comes in a really nice coffee mug. We came on a Sunday after dinner and the place was packed, but it's very spacious with plenty of seating and parking. I ordered the muffawar and the Adeni tea. The cardamom in the muffawar was pretty overpowering and I couldn't taste any coffee. The Adeni tea was okay and I could l taste the chai in this one. I heard about Shibam Coffee on social media and I was drawn to how beautiful it was decorated inside. It gives "Dubai Bling" vibes in terms of how nice it is inside. There are lots of tables and chairs for seating, as well as free wifi for people who want to study here. The service was typical for a coffee shop, but it looked like it was being run by two people at the front so depending on the time of day, service might be fast or not. My friend and I got the Pistachio Latte (Iced) and Shibam Latte (Iced). There is the option to get their lattes iced for an additional 50 cents, which I would recommend if you do not like hot drinks. The Shibam Latte tasted like chai and I would say it was okay to me. Meanwhile, the Pistachio Latte was heavenly! The pistachio sauce and steamed milk gave it a nutty and sweet flavor (although it does get a bit stronger tasting at the bottom of the drink). This is a cute place with good drinks (and pastries which I did not order). I would recommend this place to anyone if they want to try Yemeni drinks! read more

What a beautiful coffee shop! You are immediately taken aback by the wonderful aroma as soon as you walk in and greeted by nice baristas. They give you plenty of time to scout the menu and decide what you want and are very accommodating to your questions. I ordered a dragonfruit lemonade, my husband got a shibam coffee, and we got a pistachio tart. We got a beeper, and it didn't take long for it to be ready. We were able to grab a seat and they have plenty of places to sit. Everything was handed to us on a tray and everything looked visually beautiful and the taste was wonderful as well! What a surprising find in Alpharetta! My friend & I visited this cute coffee shop today to try out their pastries and we instantly fell in love with the stylish and bright decor. The pastries on display looked too tempting and I settled for the Rose Milk Cake which was fabulous. The consistency reminded me of Tres Leches with a perfectly complimenting Rose flavor. My friend got the Chocolate Mocha and she loved it too. We got our food in less than 5 minutes although the place was packed with people. The only reason why I couldn't give it a 5 star rating is that the music blaring in the background was extremely noisy and not helping the already very crowded atmosphere. I think we went on a day where they were hosting a cultural event due to which parking was extremely hard to find as well. But, these won't stop us from re-visiting this spot again :) read more

Visited Shibam Coffee for the first time this week for a late night study sesh and was instantly blown away by the ambiance. The space is stunning and there are an abundance of tables to sit at. They have a mix of coffee drinks and beautiful pastries that I did not try this time but intend to come back for. I tried a Ginger milk today since I didn't want any caffeine, and it was a little underwhelming with the ginger flavor. The service was very friendly and they have buzzers they give you while you wait for your order so you don't have to wait by the counter. We came here late one night since they have extended hours for Ramadan. This coffee shop is beautiful, but be prepared to wait in line especially if it is after iftar. We were able to save a table while we waited in line. I also loved that they had a prayer room ! I got the pistachio latte and my husband got a strawberry mojito. I really enjoyed the latte. The coffee shop is easy to find, just off the exit, with a decent amount of shared parking. That worked out perfectly because I had a lot of questions about the menu. The young woman taking my order was patient and helpful, taking time to explain the different drinks. I went with the Shibam Latte, one of their most popular options I'm told. I wanted to experience the Yemeni approach to coffee, which seems to center around rich spices. My total came to $8 after tax for a medium, which felt a little pricey, especially since I didn't upgrade the milk due to the fact they were out of half-n-half. But the flavors were bold and warming, making it worth the try. I enjoyed it and love that they don't fill their cups with ice like most coffee chains do. There are plenty of other interesting drinks on the menu too, so I love the fresh take on coffee they're offering. Overall, I'd visit again to explore more of what they have like the Pistachio Latte. read more

There's plenty of parking in front of the cafe and plenty of seating inside. My friends decided to go with the adeni chai and I went with an iced Shibam latte. The latte was quite tasty and loved all the spices they used in there to block the bitterness of the coffee. We got our drinks pretty quick after ordering since the crowd had died down a bit. Told the person we don't drink dairy products what were the alternative Milks. Oat or almond cool appreciate the options. We got our order and it was a cold pistachio latte. They remade it but it does not taste like anything other than oat milk, and coffee. We asked if the Yemeni Strawberry Lemonade had any dairy milk, cream the employee told us no. It has a white froth to it so I'm not certain if it has dairy. Really sad because I have a dairy allergy. So I had to throw it away. Came here for the first time after Iftar during Ramadan, and I have returned several times since then! Shibam Coffee is a stellar addition to the Alpharetta community. Of course, I have to recommend getting the Pistachio Latte, honeycomb, and ras malai cake. However, Shibam has something for everyone, even those who may not be as caffeine inclined. During one of my visits, I got one of their refreshers, the Shibam Royal, which included mango, strawberries, banana, and was similar consistency to a smoothie- extremely delicious. The Shibam Latte was smooth and full-bodied with warm notes of cinnamon and cardamom. They have other coffee menu, so im gonna come back try it all lol. They also have kids menu too. The Matcha Latte was creamy and well-balanced. My favorite was the Shibam Royal mango shake--thick, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. The Dragon Fruit Refresher was tropical and sweet. For dessert, the Rasmalai Cake was soft and floral. Shibam is a very aesthetic place to go but not only that the coffee and cake is really good. I got the shibam iced latte and my friend got the pistachio iced latte and we also got the oreo milk cake. I loved the shibam latte I would compare it to a traditional chai but iced and really good spices. The pistachio latte is also good you can really taste the pistachio which isn't my favorite but my friend loved it so if you like pistachio flavored drinks I definitely recommend. The oreo milk cake is also good I will say that i've had better desserts but the drinks definitely made up for it. We also got to try the Dubai Chocolate Honey Comb and it was really good, the texture is more interesting than any dessert I have had before and the flavor was really good, definetly recommend. The service is great, when we arrived there was no line and they were also very patient though I needed a minute to look over the menu. They even offered to help me with my order, to take it to my table after I looked at it like I was going to drop it, which was really nice. The wait time between ordering and getting the order is pretty fast but I couldn't say for when it's really busy it probably was about 5 minutes for us. We came to study and sit and I would definitely come again to do that. I will say it will get louder but that is expected with how busy it gets.
