Now I'm considering finding a new pharmacy. I used to get reminders about prescriptions, meds were always ready when promised, every time I went I received a text message afterwards asking about my experience. That was the old Walmart Pharmacy, which always got 5s from me. The new Walmart isn't doing any of that. I put in a refill request, it was not ready when promised. I waited in a long line to pick it up. Never used to have that problem. They seem to have discontinued asking for feedback. I presume it's because they know their service has gone off the rails. Get your head out of the sand Walmart. Not looking for feedback is not going to solve your issues and its not going to retain your customers.

But with a new prescription sometimes it seems worth it to get the med same day. Just remember to use Good Rx because for my husband's new drug, zonisamide, rite aide sells a more expensive generic and you'll need the coupon. They don't remind you about good Rx like in the commercials. Also, when I transferred it later to our usual pharmacy, Postal Prescription Service, Rite Aid didn't respond to them which resulted in the wrong doctor being called, the wrong dose being filled, and a delay resulting in running out.

There were two young ladies sitting out front of the Pharmacy apologizing to folks and letting them know someone never made it to work and maybe they'll make it in by 2 pm hopefully. I remained on hold for 27 minutes. Worried I'd been forgotten but not wanting to lose my place in line I called from another phone where a man answered the phone immediately. I let him know I'd been on hold for 27 minutes to which he said "we're busy, we get to the phones when we can"?!?!?!?! Apparently not in the order that they'd recieved. Not even an apology or a promise to fix the issue. A couple wks ago I went through the drive thru to pic up a prescription. I had injured my leg and was driving my vehicle with disabled plates. I called before leaving my dr to make sure a prescription was ready. They said it would be ready in 30 min. I made the hour drive from Montesano and waited behind 6cars. When I got up to the window the women said it wasn't ready, it would be a couple minutes and I needed to drive around and wait in line again. Frustrated and in pain I told her I'd called then waited in the very long line. She advised me to just come in the store then. How completely insensitive. As I drove around as instructed i got a text saying my medication was ready. I waited behind 5 cars before getting my medication. I called on my way home and spoke to the store manager who apologized profusely.
