the cashiers are nice. The people in the paint department are just rude. I try to avoid this place like the plague.

This was my first time that I have been to Home outlet and I gotta say I was very impressed with…read morethe store and the staff, very helpful, love the personal attention. I bought three doors nice quality and as there web site states that they have the lowest prices in town. I will have to agree, they beat the local building supply store by 56 bucks and the quality was just as good if not better. I am redoing my bathroom, I will definitely do my shopping here. They have a nice display of showers and vanities on display For a fair price.

We got a pretty 7x10 patterned rug for under $100, so that was awesome. (there was only maybe 3…read morechoices in larger sizes -- otherwise most 8x10 and 9x12 rugs were solid color) Otherwise, I can't say I was impressed by their pricing on the majority of other items. The employee was RIDICULOUSLY slow... I mean, I looked around thinking maybe I was on a hidden camera show!! My 6 year old was with me and she later said that he reminded her of "Flash" the sloth from the kid's movie Zootopia -- and I laughed out loud b/c she was 100% spot on. He literally moved sooooooo slowlyyyyyyyyyy, lifting up his scan gun inch by inch, cutting open the plastic to get to the UPC......... just crawlingggggggggggggggggg. I brought my kiddo into the public bathroom and turned around and walked out. GROSSman's bargain outlet is right. One door was welded shut, and the only remaining toilet was FILTHY. Floor: filthy. Wall: filthy. Repulsive.

My fiancé & I usually only come here when something is on sale…read more This time, it was Tarps. Unfortunately, they sold out because it was such a great deal. Every time I come here , I find the cutest little things ,that I end up spending so much money on. They have good things on clearance all the time, or just things on sale in big bins in the front of the store. They have a good selection of tools, and at home necessities (or just "wants") for the size of store they are. It's pretty small ,especially when compared to Home Depot, but, it has things you need in a hurry. You'll have to go in & check it out yourself. It's too hard for me to explain everything they have, I mostly pay attention to the fun stuff, that I want. Lol

I'm not a fan of hardware stores. I must admit I'm in the category of "technically and/or…read moremechanically challenged female" - I only venture into hardware stores out of dire need. I've picked up on some lingo over the years watching the tool-time sitcom, and I've stocked my tool box with orange juice and vodka, in case there's an emergency at home. You know the kind I'm talkin about? With that being drunk, I mean said, this smaller size hardware store didn't frighten me. I was able to find a few items rather quickly without having to walk miles of aisles, as I was not looking for a workout. Just some tools and gadgets. I found some nifty bungee cords set for $3.99, an air pump for my bike tires for $7.99 and oil lubricant for my bike chain and some squeaky window and doors in my house for $3.99. I even found - guess what? A philips end with a shank. Doesn't that sound fancy? How do you like that, I'm showing off now. What I couldn't find I asked the cashier and he pointed me in the right direction. I like it when there are actual people around to ask for where an item is or suggest what I might prefer or need for the type of mechanical, plumbing or electrical issue that's causing some mental issue. Like stress. Like low self esteem. Because I hate having home problems that I cannot fix myself or understand what the heck is going on. And I dread home problems which will be costing me plenty to get a professional over to fix. But this was a rather therapeutic experience for me taking my hardware phobia into account. I'll be back to shopping here again. but truly, a screwdriver to me is made of orange juice, vodka

We were shopping for a rechargeable lawn mower and at first didn't see a salesclerk around. As I started to walk back to the entrance to get a cart, Ralph walked by, proudly showing his "excellent customer service" patches. He gaves us a lot of info and insight of rechargeable mowers, the does and don'ts of lithium batteries and much more. He loaded the mower on the cart and walked with us to check out. On the way there, we noticed in the paper add that the self propelled model was just $30 more (usually $100). Ralph offered to take our mower back and get the other model. After that he helped us checking out and loading it in the car. That is what customer service should look like. Thanks Ralph, your help was greatly appreciated.

There was no salesperson around, but as we were headed towards the front of the store to get cart for the mower, we saw a man who offered to help. He gave us some insight on the different mowers with rechargeable batteries, and then loaded it onto the cart. Unfortunately for Ralph, as we headed towards the check out, I saw and grabbed this week's flyer. The next higher priced model of the mower was on sale so instead of being $100.00 more expensive, it was only $30.00 and it comes with a cover. Ralph wheeled the model on the cart back where it came from and returned with the "step up" model. Thank you, Ralph for helping us with this purchase.
