They will set up a hand-truck anyway you want. They also sell the parts. They keep everything well stocked and are fast. I got to Home depot and spoke to Holly in tool rental who told me they had already rented my truck to somebody else. I thrn tried muliple times to call Penske (954)457-0020 and was put on an indefinite hold for over 15 minutes. I used another phone to call Penske on anothet line after multiple atrempts, I got Dave (penske) and he told that there was a 16' truck at the location in which I was standing. I told Holly at Home Depot this and she said they only have one Penske truck left and but it was a 26' truck instead of a 16'. I asked Holly and Dave both if I could just have the 26' truck for the price of the 16' and I could be on my way to meet mymoving crew I had hired to meet me in St. Petersburg at 3pm. Dave stated no I could not have that truck because it reserved already. i told Dave, right like I had a reservation??? Now I have flown from DFW to Ft. Lauderdale, wasted money on movers that was non-refundable. Penske has cost me over $1800 for wife and I to fly here and have a false reservation. DO NOT EVER USE PENSKE TRUCK RENTAL IF YOU NEED A RELIABLE TRUCK RENTAL COMPANY BECAUSE THEY ARE ANYTHING BUT THAT! I have to be back at work Thursday in Texas, so this was a complete and total waste of time and money. UPDATE: After Dave told me I must leave and go to another Penske facility 15 miles away to get another 16' truck, I found out from the facility manager there, that they had roughly 6-7 more customers that had reservations and they didn't have enough trucks for any of those people. I guess he felt sorry for me and let me have a truck. Dave (Penske) told me he would give me a $150 discount for my troubles. I looked at my updated invoice and I only got $100.00. So, not only disorganized but dishonest. Take your money to Budget Rental Trucks. Much, much better experience.

Official/Valid Florida State License, United State Passport, and I'm going to be pretty much thrown out because they need "Meaningful Assurance" only because my phone number is a 201 New Jersey number. Their employees don't even know how to explain what Meaningful Assurance is. One quick google shows there are many other options for Meaningful Assurance than what was asked of me (car registration, insurance policy). Calling a relative of mine, calling my employer. But no, lady doesn't explain what I need to bring when I called the day before to make sure everything goes smooth. I show up, tells me I need car registration as meaningful assurance, don't have, tells me aggressively I need to leave because she has too many customers to deal with. Their claim to have 24 hour surveillance, is pointless, if it neither prevents, nor solves any criminal activity. There are also a multitude of people who use some of the units as a residence, and obviously have more than enough time to get into peoples' lockers during the night, when the facility is closed, and steal from them. You do online check-in. Except well... the online check-in kept freezing on both of our phones, we had to talk to the attendant, and we had to get called by the guy who programs these things to get our U-Haul. As a result, we made it late back home and the movers were already there waiting for us. Something that should've run smoothly didn't, but fortunately for us, the movers ran smoothly and I didn't have to hire them for an extra hour. Still, meh... this was a bit of a pain.
