These guys--I can't say enough about them…read more In a world of "mechanics" who know only how to replace parts, Auto Pro employs true mechanics who know the art automotive repair. More than once, a mechanic here has spent a few hours on my car diagnosing a problem that other garages couldn't detect (even after I described thoroughly) They are honest, capable, and eager to save your money rather than up selling services and repairs that you don't need (unlike most dealerships and chain companies). I tend to avoid small shops--I like to plug into a corporate structure. That said, I trust these guys with my auto when real work is on the table.

DO NOT COME HERE! They will SCAM you!!!…read more I brought my car in to get a diagnostic on the air conditioning not blowing cold at idle. They came back with the quote pretty quickly. Of course I assumed AC work may or may not be expensive depending on the problem and after receiving a high quote I needed to run it by my husband. Also come to find out they charge mostly the labor because we found the parts I needed online for $215. (My quote was almost $1600 not including the money they robbed me of) They said they still needed to charge me ($217) because they topped off (it wasn't empty) and recharge my ac. I didn't ask them to do either of those things, just to run a diagnostic which I would have paid for if there was a cost for that, no problem. I asked the man at the counter if doing those things was going to temporarily help with the cold air and he said yes. A lie. Come to find out because my issue is my compressor, recharging and adding more Freon was a total waste of time and money. That's $217 wasted on something I didn't even ask them to do. I imagine they won't be willing to refund me so all I can do is try to help someone else to STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!

Terrible service! I took a friend's 1997 4.6L F-150 in for a simple coolant flush. They only vacuum…read moreit, which cannot pull it all out. Then they filled it, and I paid my bill $140. I asked them what temp it tests to now? They looked at me puzzled, so I even had to explain to the tech. Then, they brought out the antifreeze tester, but sorry, it busted - all they could say was bring it back in a week when we have another tester? Seriously, so after I returned and pulled out the photo I had taken right after the engine cooled at my home. I tested with my antifreeze tester. It showed only to 0 degrees F! Showed it to the tech back at Valolene- his only reply was Well, ok, it doesn't get cold around here anyway! I then asked for my money back, but he immediately declined, so I drove to Jiffy Lube down the street. They pulled the upper radiator hose hooked up their PRESSURE machine pushing all coolant through the radiator & heater core and engine - then out the unattached upper radiator hose. This is the only way to throughly replace the old fluid. No vacuum garbage there! I checked the antifreeze before adding it, and yes, good to -35F as it should be when done correctly! Stay far AWAY FROM VALVOLINE as possible , terrible service, extremely ignorant and rude! Cooling systems are only positive pressure, any negative pressure can hurt gaskets within the cooling systems. The staff was very rude and obviously did not care. Terrible service so stay away! I called the V headquarters and registered a complaint, was given a case # and was told I would hear back - well good luck with that, as of today the Aug 24 still waiting- that says something about the company! FYI Below you will see their invoice, then my HOME freez point of theeir service (since they had no instrument to use?) Clearly showed only 0F, then same day over to Jiffy Lube and I checked their work freez point was a good -35F as it should be! FYI BEWARE

I appreciate that he was straightforward and didn't try to upsell or give me any runaround--just honest work and great service. I'm writing this on behalf of my mother who brought her 22 year-old-vehicle for service and was…read morebilled $2311 for repairing a timing belt (water-pump kit), cleaning manifold covers, replacing some cheap gaskets, two drive belts, and two hoses. Oh yes, and $65 for rags and cleaning supplies. By the way, my mother's car is worth about $4000. Do they do good work? Well, let's put it this way. You could go to a shop in Beverly Hills on rodeo drive and pay less money than these folks would charge, they are on parr with going to a dealer. They took my mother in, charmed her, promised her the moon, encouraged her sign a document, and did not provide her a written estimate. I'm quite certain they didn't because I was with her the entire day (on 6/15/2026). They finally emailed her a written estimate 7.5 hours after she gave them the car (4:03pm, she had dropped the car off at 8:30am). They provided her a few paltry discounts $100 discount for being a nurse, yes she spent 50 years saving people's lives, and waved the $65 rag fee. They charge $152 (and change)/hour for labor, they do not post this in the shop, they up-charge their parts 100% over retail (a matrix, Steve, the office attendant says), and then boom, they work their "magic." After most of the work was done, they called and said "we have a great price for you, $2500, and by the way "we broke an engine mount, I mean, we found an engine mount broken, yes, that's right, we found it broken, another $58." When I confronted "Steve" and his friend "Parker," he said "we told your mother everything, and told her the price, she agreed to everything, was happy about it, and said....... yes." They did NO such thing. What a pair of liars, it was like watching the Trump regime on capitol hill answer questions about the education department. When pressed further Steve said, "SO WHAT if she didn't get an estimate, she was here in the store and she signed a form authorizing work." When something doesn't make sense it's always a lie. Ahhh, there we go, that's how we do business at Attkisson automotive? Steve later said, "if your mother is not competent that's her issue." So, my mother is incompetent because you're a liar? We ended the conversation this way: Steve: "You're not getting your car, I'm not losing my job, I don't make any decisions, I have Parker next to me who will back me up, my boss is at the doctor with her daughter and she's not available to talk to you." Myself: "Do you have a mother? You do? I hope you don't treat your mother the way you've treated mine, I can see why you don't make decisions," I paid the fee myself. Tomorrow I'm going to take this car to another mechanic to verify they've done the work properly. I don't live in the area, I'm visiting from out of town, and where I live it is illegal to begin work on a vehicle unless a price is discussed. If it's not illegal here it should be. My mother could have asked for less things to be done, refused service and gotten a second opinion, or better yet, not done business with these folks. I'm very reticent to write negative reviews because I do t want to damage people's business, but this experience was mortifying.

Our latest service was on a 2007 Buick Lucerne that was gifted to our grandson from his Great Aunt. The car needed service on the AC, power steering, hoses, and belts since it had sat for a while.
