Wow, I plan to use this for now on for oil changes. Fast 15 minute oil change, easy. $86 for my passenger car, I will be a return customer. You stay in the car. You pull up to a bay, wait and they'll direct you to slowly drive in when they are ready, then turn off your engine and park over an underground pit. You'll want to open all your windows. A worker gathers your details while you are in the car, asks to open your car drivers door and scan VIN code off the driver door jamb. Then ask what services you want, and if you want regular, blend, or full synthetic oil. Then they'll ask you to pop your hood, then what your current odometer mileage reading shows. They check your engine air filter and windshield wiper status every time, and they'll inform you of your engine air filter status. They pump out old oil via engine top dipstick tube, someone down below in service pit changes your oil filter, then they'll pump in fresh oil via engine top oil fill cap. They'll ask you to briefly start your engine to verify it runs and sounds normal. After, they'll pull your dipstick and show you that it's not can't-see-thru-black, but now thin see-thru brown and the level is above dipstick minimum oil mark. They ask for a credit card payment, and then ask you to start your engine and direct you to slowly exit. --- A tip to save time: write your name, detail, and current mileage in large print on a piece of paper you can show. This was my first time trying this service instead of just using my mechanic, and it took 20 minutes for 7 employees above and below my car for them to tell me that they wouldn't change my oil because it was a "liability" for them to have to move coolant lines out of the way for my filter. I was also hoping it would save me some money from my mechanic, but even after a $15 coupon, it cost me over $100 and was the same price that my mechanic charges me. My go-to oil change spot for both our cars. Usually, you can pull right in with no wait. Service takes about 20 minutes and you're out of there. Employees are friendly and there is no pressure to get added services like Jiffy Lube. They just give you a print out of the recommended services on the way out. Prices for synthetic are on par with other places I've been to so it's a good value. The only thing I have noticed is sometimes they are more thorough on some visits vs. others. For example, one visit they checked the headlights, turn signals, air pressure, etc. Other times, they just changed the oil (which I'm fine with, just something I noticed.) read more

This was my first visit and there's no turning back for me! If you need a good and quick oil change then this is the place to go! All the other shops in the area were so busy and I was able to come here and be in and out within 40 min! So you pull in, stay in your car, and get a drive-thru oil change! They tell you what's going on and if they see any issues. They even show you the dip stick to verify the new oil in it! The staff were all knowledgeable and professional. They were very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough great things. Prices are reasonable and they offer regular, synthetic blend and full synthetic. I recommend giving them a call before you go and see if they have any coupons. The coupon I got was better than what was available on their website! After two experiences here I won't go back- I left with a big dent! Employees are polite- but that doesn't excuse the major issues. The first time was okay, but the tech got oil all over my front quarter panel and decided to wipe his dirty rag across my paint- this left noticeable scratches. That should have been enough for me to realize the mistake of coming here- but instead I just forgot about it and went on with life. Unfortunately when the next oil change was due I came back to this same place. The tech did the exact same thing with getting oil on the quarter panel- except this time left a huge dent that looks awful. I noticed it right away after leaving and parking the truck. I went back within the hour to show them the dent- the manager took 30 minutes to 'review the camera' just to come out and say 'I didn't see him hit the truck- all he did was lean on it so there is nothing I can do about it' This is very sad. The truck made it 150k miles without any damage like that and now it looks horrible. Very unfortunate they don't take better care to not damage customers vehicles. On top of everything- they charged me $100 to change a fuel filter that I provided. My oil change(I also provided my own oil and my own oil filter)and tire rotation that took them 45 minutes cost me $57 - but the 2 minute long filter change cost $100. This location ruined my Range Rover and would not approve the claim to replace my engine. Truck that I had for only 8months been sitting in the garage with a blown engine!!! I brought my car to this location to get an oil change. After that, my car wasn't ever the same again. My truck never notified me when it was time for another oil change after getting my last one from vavoline!! My car sat for a few weeks while I was gone attending my sister funeral. I came back home to drive my truck like any other day. When I pulled off, it was driving weird. After noticing a knocking sound, check engine light came on. I immediately took it to a repair shop. I was told my truck was completely out of oil!!! I was confused because my oil light never came on. Whatever happen when vavoline did my oil change ruined my car. These guys are a ripoff and will not assist me with replacing my engine. My truck has been in the garage since March 2025!!!!! I'm filing a lawsuit read more

Arrived at Ashburn Va location on 3/6/25 for oil change and headlight bulb replacement. Oil service was done promptly, but an employee explained that they would need to remove the entire headlamp assembly to replace the bulb. Turns out that is not the case, but ended up replacing the high beam bulb instead of the burnt out low beam. Did not invoice the bulb replacement. Spoke to customer service the following morning and was told the manager would reach out. That also did not happen. read more

I have always had good experiences here. They are upfront about what services they recommend, and I never feel pressured to get them done. I always go in the afternoon on weekdays, so I'm usually in and out in less than 25 minutes. I don't even get out of the car unless they have to rotate the tires. I once took my 'backup' truck in for an oil change since it had been about 6 months. I'd probably only put about 500 miles on it in that time. They pulled the dipstick and showed me that the oil still looked brand new. They said, "we can still change it if you want, but it looks good." And, at no charge, they attempted to fix my windshield washer fluid reservoir since it was leaking. Ultimately, the fix didn't last, but I appreciated it. read more

I've never been sold on these type of places, preferring to just go to the dealership instead. I finally tried this place and I couldn't have been more impressed with the service I received from Derek and Ethan. It was friendly, efficient, inexpensive, and I felt like a very good job. I was concerned about sloppiness in this sort of oil change service, but they have a verbal and visual checklist they go through with the customer and another employee to ensure everything is complete, all the caps are reinstalled, and there are no leaks before a customer leaves. I was expecting the full press upsell, that never happened. They completed the work I asked for, and didn't try to sell me more than I asked for. Top shelf service from the two guys I mentioned. So I called to see if the Hagerstown establishment participated with the Groupon, and she said " you have to look it up" She repeated this over and over. I feel like that's a pretty simple question that requires a one-word answer and every employee should have the answer to that question. No kidding, a happy, painless experience. The crew was helpful with questions, was NOT PUSHY trying to upsell me, and I left there feeling I had some new friends. Corny, I know, but that is how easy going the process was. I asked about one procedure, using my own fluid, and was told, Sure. He would have to empty out what was in the machine, but would, so he could use the fluid I would bring. AMAZING! It's difficult to find a place to just use the oil I bring, let alone, go out of their way to use it. Excellent service! Got a coupon in the mail and decided to give these guys a shot! Right off the bat it was a. Totally different experience than their competition. Chris right off the bat went so far above and beyond to make sure it was a great experience! It was even late in the day when I came and they didn't let that bother them. It was nice being able to stay in the car and just relax while they did the work. They really did a great job checking everything out and I was extremely happy. One of the managers, JJ even came over to offer advice and really looked out for my best interest. I got my oil changed there and soon after I noticed a leak. I took it back to the shop and they confirmed it was leaking but couldn't fix it because they're not a full service shop. I took it to a mechanic and he said there was a drain plug leak and it looked like it was nicked while the oil change was being done and that was causing it not to seal. The employees were incredibly nice and they even filled up my car with oil when I went to get the oil leak checked out. The only problem was a mistake costing me $175 to fix. read more

Got my radiator fluid replacement, transmission replacement and oil change and it was only an hour! Great Experience - During these covid times, I did not want to have someone in my car for my oil change. I discovered Vavoline in Ashburn! It was so quick even without an appointment, and Dominique was very efficient and pleasant. I did have to open my door for a vin scan and tire pressure verification, but all employees wore their masks. They added any necessary air to all my tires, checked my lights and topped my fluids. I added a tire rotation, which did require me to vacate the car, since they lift it - but no one enters your vehicle. Everyone one was just so professional - One employee asked if I wanted to get in the other since I was there before another car just pulled up, which I thought was super fair and thoughtful (didn't get his name), but I said no that s fine - it was still very quick, so Glad I found this place! read more
