I'm writing this review on behalf of my boyfriend. We wanted to thank the manager Jeff for his professionalism and customer service over the last few weeks. My boyfriend went in for an oil change and tire rotation and after leaving two of his hubcaps weren't put on correctly and fell off as he drove home. Realizing what had happened my boyfriend called and they did an investigation and within a day had called him back and had ordered him a brand new set to replace the two hubcaps that had fallen off. We went in today and they immediately remembered us and put them on correctly and were incredibly polite, fast, and apologetic. We're so grateful some places still do the right thing. This place does great oil change service but don't ask them to do a tire rotation. I asked them to do a tire rotation and they snapped off one of my lug nuts. There was a person at every wheel and none of them used impact drivers. When the manager saw the lug nut break off he screamed, STOP. They put all the wheels back on and made no mention of reimbursing me for their mistake. Later I bought a new lug nut at an auto parts store and it cost me plenty to extract the busted one and replace it with a new one at a tire shop. They need to up their game and get a proper impact drivers. All of the employees had different brands of drivers so they probably had to buy their own and went the cheap route. read more

I've used Valvoline oil changers in the past, specifically in Massachusetts and they have been great. This one, not as much. While the employees are friendly and cordial, there were two issues with my service. One minor and one more major. I hope they take this as feedback and improve their location and communication. When I pulled up for the oil change I asked them to skip the air filter check as I do this myself. The employee helping me deleted that item check on the computer but the employees working on my car still pulled out the air filter and began to ask me anyway. Minor issue that I would have looked over as it's part of their standard operating procedures. The second issue was that they didn't not properly secure my hood. When I got on the freeway it started to pop open, thankfully being caught by the latch. I had to put on my hazard lights and pull over on the freeway to close it properly. Their employees should be doing a pull check on the hood to ensure it is properly closed. This would have avoided this problem. While I like a fast oil change, it took 25 minutes from start to end and given the issues I had at this location, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I took my other car for an oil change this morning, and I was pleased to see if there was no other customer (no waiting in line at all) on a Tuesday morning. Staff were very friendly and very patient with me who is not the most car-savvy. I also liked the fact that it literally only took them 15 minutes to do the whole thing - no other places can beat this. But most importantly, I really appreciated the fact that they were so transparent about their services and their costs. I went with their MaxLife Oil Change ($75.99 as of January 2023) - this is their synthetic blend, and my car doesn't need the full synthetic - and the service included filling up your tires, checking your battery performance, inspecting your filters, and I didn't feel any pressure whatsoever from them to include any other services that would cost extra. 5 stars all the way for this place! read more

Went here on 10/31 for an oil change for my 2014 Ford Escape. I didn't know they were no longer Oil Express but I needed my oil changed so I figured I'd try them out. The service was okay (not as good as oil express) but still fairly quick and to the point. However, about 20 minutes after I left, my car started sputtering and clouds of black smoke were coming from the tail pipe. There was a lot of smoke! I was able to pull into a parking lot of the grocery store where a worker there helped me out. He let me know that usually happens when you have no oil or the car is overfilled and and when that happens the oil can't flow through properly. Said I should be ok to drive back so long as it doesn't overheat. Since I had my 3 month old baby in the car I went straight home. I got home and got an appointment with the mechanic for the next morning. He confirmed that the car was overfilled with oil and drained about 2 quarts. On 11/1, I filed a claim with corporate to get a refund for the service and spoke to the manager. I also emailed the estimate and notes from the mechanic on 11/1. It's been a week and I haven't heard back. When I reached back out they stated they needed the actual receipt showing I paid the mechanic in order for them to refund me. I don't understand what difference it makes but I've sent that in as well. ETA: after sending my receipt in this morning and posting this review, I received a vm from the manager stating they will mail me a check for the $75 I spent at the mechanic. read more

I used to go to a different quick oil change place. And let me tell you, they were not living up to their name! I found that Valvoline was about the same distance, just a different direction, so I went there. Initially I was worried it would be more of the same, but boy was I wrong! My first visit was incredibly fast, and these techs were efficient. All cylinders firing, if you will. They got me in the bay, got the work done, and got me out in just a few minutes. They did try to upsell me services, which was expected. What was not expected was that their 'upgrade' services were the same price as the other guys 'basic!' It was easy to choose the upgrade. My most recent visit I got quite a few more things done. Got the upgraded oil change, but I also got new wiper blades and got my tires rotated. Which is the most impressive, because I drive a ram 1500. The other guys said my truck was too big to do tire rotations, but these guys are champs and got it done! Even with these other services, they got it done quick, fast, and in a hurry! I forgot to ask anyone's name, but I definitely want to give a big shout out to the whole crew there!
