Just be aware that they may suggest other services, which can add to the total cost, so make sure you clearly state what you need. I had a good experience at Valvoline Instant Oil Change on Monument Boulevard in Concord. I really appreciated that they accepted and honored my Groupon, which brought the price down from around $120 to about $68. That made a big difference, and I give them credit for actually standing behind the promotion and making the process easy. The team was professional, efficient, and very thorough. They checked everything carefully, communicated what they were doing, and I felt like they did a solid job on my synthetic oil change. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the constant upselling. I understand that's part of the business, but it felt like every few minutes there was another recommendation -- add this, change that, buy this service, try this product. Since I was already getting a good deal through the Groupon, it felt like they were really trying to make up the difference with add-ons. I had to say "no" several times before it finally stuck that I was only there for the oil change. Overall, though, I appreciate the quality of the work, the professionalism, and the fact that they honored the Groupon without any hassle. 2nd time coming here and the service is fantastic. They close at 5, I got in 4:45, they still let me in no issue. They say 15 minutes but in reality, look at it as 20 minutes for your oil change in total (I timed it) and then potentially 15-20 minutes in addition if there's an existing car In front of you already too. Make sure to get the Groupon to save $20ish. You still have to pay recycling fee + tax but still worth it. read more

I love this location, so I won't criticize them personally, but ... The company's policy of "up to 5 quarts" is really a scheme to exploit customers. The .67 quarts of "extra" European full synthetic cost me $16.79 That comes to $125.30 for every 5 quarts. Amazon has this exact oil for $26.97 for 5 quarts. I know labor is factured in, but still. I'm only writing this review to give a shoutout to Henry! I went in for an oil change and arrived 10 min before closing (I know this isn't ideal and pretty annoying but traffic held me back). Once I arrived Henry directed me to pull inside. While doing so, another employee (I don't want to mention his name, but I have it) shouted "We are closed!" with a nasty attitude and expression. In response, Henry politely approached me and told me they weren't closed and he would assist me. Been super loyal to Valvoline as I have been to locations in Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, and Oklahoma. Totally love being in my car knowing that nuts and bolts are being turned (I have been to the dealership 3 times for an oil change and they never changed it so I am very consciousness.). They have the sweetest employees--so very willing to help you out. Ran into issues but they made the phone calls and they recommended another location that for certain had the parts. They made things right. Additionally, they answered all questions and helped me out when I asked. I'm very dissatisfied with my experience. I went in for a routine oil change, and they suggested replacing the cabin air filter for $49. I agreed since they said it was time. After the service, I started driving for Uber and Lyft, but when a passenger asked for the AC, it wasn't cooling at all. I returned the next day and was told the AC just needed a recharge, which cost $75. Unfortunately, it stopped working again after about 30 minutes. When I went back, they couldn't give me any explanation. Later, another mechanic told me the AC compressor needs to be replaced. I contacted Valvoline customer service, and they said they would investigate and call me back in two business days. After a week with no call, I followed up myself, and they claimed it might be due to a past car accident--even though the AC had been working fine all year until their service. Very poor customer service and a frustrating experience. I will not be returning. I've lost $830+75 only for their mistake read more

But most of all, she went over and beyond to help fix a problem with my glove box . She was very knowledgeable about all of her duties.
