Fast reliable service. I took my car in for service knowing I needed an oil change, tire rotation, and engine coolant replacement. I also asked do an inspection because I've been having weird noises and issues with my car. I have taken it to several spots since those things started happening over a year ago and they were the first to pinpoint what it was! They kept me in the loop with everything and made sure that they were delivering price points for parts and labor each time. Each new cost was less than other services I had gotten other places and less than they showed on google. The customer service was great and my father in law has always trusted their reliability! I had a low pressure indicator on my dashboard and happened to drive by this place so I stopped in. The service tech got on my problem right away and checked the pressure on all 4 tires. He determined that the problem was a faulty tire sensor which they could replace for $100 out the door. Knowing that price was really fair, I told them to do the work. I ended up going to a nearby Peet's Coffee for about 45 mins and when I came back my car was already done! Everything about this place was top notch. The customer service was great, the repair bays looked immaculate, and prices were fair. I probably got a little lucky in that I came at a time that was not busy, but I'm pretty sure they can handle a lot of volume as it's a fairly large repair shop. I'm definitely coming back again and hope to be a long time customer! read more

A review update that's long overdue! We're back in bidness with my ol' fave Concord Tire Center! About 6 months after I left my last review, I was contacted by the ever so wonderful Melissa. First of all, SO glad that she came back after the whole COVID shutdown because she's such a huge part of the team! Missed her soooo mucho! She personally called me and apologized for the subpar experience that I had. She also mentioned that they had been working without anyone to schedule appointments prior to her coming back to the shop. I get it. Sh!t happens and nothing is ever perfect. But this simple phone call of an acknowledgment really made me feel good and put me at ease. She told me to come back in so that they could fix the issue. I brought my car back in for a routine maintenance, and the folks at Concord Tire Center made things right. Since then, I've brought my car back in twice for some work, and everything had been excellent. It feels like old times. Simon and his team really care about the happiness and satisfaction of their clients, and this is why I (along with so many other clients) have been long time customers here. He must be one of the nicest, most friendly person I've ever worked with when having to get something done to my car. I had an appointment yesterday which was scheduled to take about an hour. Getting a nail in my tire yesterday sucked. It literally sucked the air out of my tire causing my Subaru's TPMS to go off. Being Sunday, I knew I had to wait for Monday to stop by Concord Tire Center. I called Concord Tire Center this morning at 7:45 AM before they were supposed to be open at 8 AM to see if they were were operating since Simon decided to be extra-cautious and close the business for 3 months during the shelter-in-place order despite his business being an essential business. Surprisingly, Vick picked up the phone and said yep, they had just opened today! Within 15 minutes I was there. I literally just brushed my teeth and threw on a cap and a mask, since these days I don't care what I look like since the mask makes me always appear handsome. Sure enough, there was a nail in my rear passenger side tire and $20 and 30 minutes later it was repaired. Honestly, I was willing to pay more for all the trouble. And this is why I keep coming back. The best part was talking with Simon and a fellow masked customer in the parking lot about random things such as parasitic battery drain, PPP, and Hawaii since the waiting area is closed for safety reasons. Therefore, if you are planning on getting an oil change or other automotive-related service and are going to wait at the Concord Tire Center, you may need to bring your own folding chair. Also, use the restroom before you come because for safety reasons it is not open to the public. Perhaps I was lucky or maybe I wasn't lucky... but the fact that I got a nail in my tire the day before the scheduled reopening of Concord Tire Center was very fortunate since I don't trust any other mechanic. read more

I apologize in advance but this review is not for any service performed. I called around several places for availability the same day and pricing. I was quoted $99 and while other places quoted me $129 but availability for next week, I decided to come here. Upon check in, I was told, "I didn't know you had a Tesla, that would be $199." I was flabbergasted that they charge more than 100%!!! Tesla is similar to ICE, maybe $130 is reasonable for electronic programming involved. But $100 extra is price gouging! I took our daughters honda to a local shop in Concord. They have a big O attached to there name. I was advised that the car needed an alignment and front end parts. They also said we needed brakes on the front. The estimate was over $1000. We had recently purchased the car so I didn't have a good history on it. We decided to get a second opinion at Concord tire center. They inspected the car and performed the alignment. No front end parts needed and the front brakes had 8 centimeters left. Total bill $89.95 I really appreciated the honesty. I told them that if it needed brakes, go ahead and do it. In today's world, it's hard to find a reliable shop that has integrity. I will now feel comfortable taking back the rest of our fleet to Concord Tire center. I also now know what the O stands for in the other shop. read more

After shopping around for tires, this place gave me the best deal for new tires. I give them five stars mostly for the customer service. My alignment was off and they had someone call me to let me know that fixing it would be an additional fee. I didn't receive the call. They went ahead and fixed it and because I didn't get the call, they waived the alignment fee without me asking. This is what all businesses should do....the right thing without the customer having to ask. Aside from that, it didn't take too long for them to finish changing my tires and they were done at the given time. read more

Great family owned business just like Above Car Care. I've used these folks twice: First time was for my 2016 Volkswagen Golf R - I bought a new set of Toyo tires for a very reasonable price. They scheduled me an appointment, I dropped my car off and they had it completed at the time they told me it would be done. I appreciate the punctual and consideratebess from these folks. Since I had such a positive experience the first time, I brought in my girlfriends 2013 Honda Civic LX for a full 75k routine maintenance. During the inspection, they found a cracked timing belt and almost dead battery. They completed all of this the day of my appointment. Although it was a bit pricey, I know the quality of work is on point so I'm ok with it. Also, this is the time to support local business and I felt it would be inconsiderate to haggle anyone down. Simon is the owner and he's truly a pleasure to work with. Straightforward, kind and quick, definitely give these folks a try from your tires to your maintenances - they can do it pretty well! Note: COVID safe, wear masks and the front desk it outside the entrance. Keep in mind there's obviously no waiting room due to COVID protocols so be sure to coordinate accordingly. read more

I have a '53 Chevy truck with a '79 10 bolt rear end with drum brakes. I redid the brakes and needed the drums turned, but kept getting "we don't do that anymore ", so I bought new drums (from overseas), that turned out to be... not as good. I stopped at this shop (I noticed it while driving in concord) on the off chance they could turn them. They did the job for less than 1/4 of what another shop quoted me, and gave me a lead on some other things I needed. Not too often you find someone real and genuinely helpful. read more

If you have a custom setup on your ride, I recommend getting your tires mounted by Concord Tire Center. The owner, Simon, was very informative and hooked me up with some Michelin tires and full alignment. They test ride the car and made sure everything is superior & safe before handing you your keys. For a week now, the car drive more smoothly than ever. Remember, not all tire companies will put on your tires for you if you have custom rims. Aw3som3 service! Had a bit of an emergency with my tires and had to get them replaced the next day. Concord Tire Center's Melissa was able to fit me into the schedule the next day to get my tires replaced. Went there around 11am and they were able to get me out within 30 mins! The mechanic even showed me the problem (tire degradation and a portion of the tire's rubber had stripped off and was wrapped around the axle). Super nice mechanic and team (Thanks again, Melissa)!
