STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Absolutely horrible experience at this Valvoline oil change location. I arrived around 10:30am 07/09/25 for a state inspection. The tech asked for payment up front. He charged my credit card $18.50. After several minutes he then takes a screw driver and yanks off my gas cap. He then states my gas cap will not fit their device for inspection. I asked for a refund and he said I would have to pay again. I asked for the manager who said he would issue me a refund. I then asked the manager to check and make sure his employee returned my gas cap to the way it was before he yanked it off. The manager then said it was broken and he couldn't fix it. I told him I wasn't exiting the stall until he repaired it. He said he would have to get the part and to give him 3 hours and he would come to my house and repair my gas cap. After several calls to the store and the corporate office my gas cap is still not repaired. read more

Beware these guys will mess up your vehicle and literally say that they didn't do it. I took my vehicle Saturday 12/21/24 for a simple oil change and then they offered me the service to flush and replace the transmission fluid because the mileage and what then I agree because I'm thinking these guys know what they are doing but clearly not. My vehicle was drivable then now my truck doesn't go into gear because they messed up something in the gear box and on top of that my key doesn't come out anymore, but they aren't at fault for that okay. So everyone beware DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! As far as management they are horrible they both lied and that they would get me a rental and what not and I got nothing and I'm coming out of pocket $1000+ to fix my vehicle for something that I didn't cause. While moving one of the emissions machines, the technician forced it past my car and railing, scratching my rear bumper. I watched him do this from my rear view mirror. When I pulled out I looked and had 2 deep scratches. When I spoke with the employee in question, which turned out to be the manager, he denied it. Saying he didn't recall doing that. He took my information and said he would look at the film from the camera. I contacted corporate and filed a claim as well. read more

I went in early November 2023 location to get my state inspections done. Luckily, I was immediately greeted by the new reassigned manager as I drove into the parking lot who told me that their state inspector was not fully certified yet so they couldn't do state inspections. Maybe try late December for state inspections here. read more

First, I would like to say that I am scared of driving over anything. The employee carefully guided me through the bay. I really appreciated his patience and guidance or else I would have panicked and not entered the bay. I would have asked for someone to drive my son's car in the bay. On this day, I took my son's car in for an oil change. It was recommended that I also get the filter changed, so I did! The filter change was fast and easy. No hassles about what else I could buy or pressure to add more services. It was short and sweet. Overall, the staff was very helpful, friendly, professional, and even helped me find the button to pop the hood. Yes, I know I should have known where that button was at but I do not normally drive this car. It was my first for many things in this car. Thank you to the staff for not making me feel dumb because I didn't know where this button was. read more

I just got finished with an oil change and Adan (who I'm assuming is the manager) was leading the crew and doing an excellent job. I could tell through the entire process that he really wanted to make sure I was taken care of. His crew also was fantastic. Don't not recommended to take your vehicle. Went in for an oil change, and a windshield wiper change.. technician advised us we were due for a transmission oil change as well. Gave them the green light, we waited 2 hours and no one was telling us anything. Assistant manager finally let us know they were having a hard time closing everything back, turns out the messed up my shifting gears while doing the oil on the transmission. Hunter, the manager came after seeing the tech struggling. He comes puts his hand in and tell us to start the truck, we try to start my vehicle and my key does not turn into start mode. We were told to put the car in neutral, we do so. While Hunter has his hand in the gears we hear a click. However my car is still not able to be put in drive, park, or simply take the key out to try and turn it on. Hunter advised us he would get us a rental by Monday since it was Saturday night. Monday comes around and we don't get told anything. We call Tuesday and we're told based off the diagnosis they did it was not their fault. Waited 2 weeks for my vehicle to get fixed and get some sort of compensation, that didn't happen.u I finally get my vehicle back, and what do you know Hunter forgot all about my windshield wiper I asked for before anyone started working on my vehicle. I got back, let him know & turns out they're out of stock, Hunter and his assistant manager stated they would get me a call when it is in and have yet to do so, 2 months later! DO NOT GO THERE, unless you don't mind getting your vehicle jacked up. read more

When I arrived, all 3 bays were full & there was one person ahead of me. Even with that, the wait wasn't that long. It gave me a chance to get the swiffer out of the glove box & get to tidying up. Tie (lady tech) ended up being my service person. I don't know if that was on-purpose since I'm a female, but doooooon't care cause she's freaking awesome. She located my vehicle information from past visits to California Valvolines even though they hadn't entered all the info they could have. She updated my data. Then she got straight to work on that engine and systems....Go Girl! I liked the manager's style. I watched him help out when necessary, but he mostly kept an overall view of productivity, safety and customer satisfaction. I imagine his style greatly contributes to overall efficiency of this location. If you haven't been to a Valvoline before, they prefer you remain in your vehicle during the service. As long as it's not Haites-hot, I like it too. You can see exactly what work is being done and if that is actually YOUR dirty azz air filter they parade in front of you. The restroom was out of service when I went on 8/14. I can't imagine they'll allow it to stay like that for long. There are magazines and coffee in the waiting area if you want to get out of your vehicle. There is a self-service car wash next door if you'd like to make a day of it. read more

***CUSTOMER BEWARE**** They hire any old Joe, prob give them a weeks worth of training and put them on the job. They are NOT professionals. If I could give negative stars I would. They stripped the drain plug which I then had to take to a mechanic to go look at because my car kept leaking...come to find out at the mechanic's, they NEVER changed the oil filters when I went to get oil changes. I wanted to give a chain the benefit of the doubt, but they are all the same: THIEVES. My advice, like stealerships, stay away from chain oil change places. read more

I waited 2 hours for an oil change. I tried to be patient and not complain. After over an hour of waiting, one technician told me to pull in behind a car that they had been having troubles with, so I then had to wait another 30 minutes. They serviced 3 cars that came after me, even one car that only waited for 3 minutes pulled in and was serviced before I was. have had my car service and oil change at this location for years but just recently my opinion of it has changed. I had my oil change done on June 30th and had not driven my car at all. This week I noticed there was a lot of oil leaking. When I checked it apparently the bolt wasn't tighten like how it should have been which caused it to leak. I went to the location to informed them of what happens and their response was "Well we are training a lot of new people so that might happen." SMH.
