August 23, 2022, 9:01 AM I recently had my vehicle serviced at a dealership where my splash guard cover was replaced properly due to a rack and pinion installation. Upon going to Valvoline Instant Oil Change, to have my oil changed, and then returning home, I checked under my car just to see if my under cover splash guard cover had been replaced correctly. It had not! And this is an on going problem. The first time my splash guard cover ended up dragging under the car. I notified them about this. Husband fixed the problem so I could drive it without further damage. My splash guard cover has never been replaced correctly, ever. And this morning was no exception! Blame it on the new guy??? No training? Splash shield cover screws/ retainer clips are either stripped and or missing altogether. I shouldn't have to fix my vehicle after returning home. read more

So, I quit doing my own lol a while ago when the cost of buying the oil and filter was within a couple bucks of doing it myself. I was with my mom in her vehicle (a Dodge Journey) and if I was to do an oil change myself, it would be 38 bucks, and Valvoline charged 42 with my coupon (plus, I didn't have to pay for the washer fluid.) One thing they noticed is that the filter bypass valve was missing and they replaced it at no cost. Other places would have charged to replace it - the technician said it was on them. A Valvoline just opened by our house in Nevada, and we go out of the way to patronize them because of the experience in Florence and in Utah when we were there. read more

Came in there for an oil change on 1/13/22 for my BMW 328i and left with a transmission leak that I didn't have before I went there. They won't take any responsibility because it was my first time going there but i know for a fact that my transmission wasn't leaking before I took my car to them. I do not recommend this valvoline and I would give 0 stars if i could! read more

The crew is super nice but the last time I went in to see if they could help figure out what was wrong with my car they said it was a transmission problem and charged me 189 to take out the liquid and full it up. Didn't fix the issue. They knew I had no car knowledge and used it to there advantage. read more

A true situation of buyer beware from a "reputable company": On the afternoon of 4/6/2021, I visited this Valvoline Oil Change Service facility for a convention oil change. Previously that day in the morning, I was able to obtain a coupon from the Valvoline website for an oil change for $19.99. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I was waved into the service bay, upon which I presented the coupon to the attendant. He told me that his computer was rejecting the coupon which made me upset because the oil change would more than double my price at over $40.00. Since there were 2 other service centers in our area that were identified as accepting the coupon, I sternly informed the attendant that there is no possible way that his explanation was valid and I requested immediately that he visit the Valvoline website that I had visited that morning verify that what I was claiming was true. He then immediately retracted his statement about it being an invalid coupon and said that he just found it in his computer and that it must have been a very recent coupon that was advertised and that is why it was denied earlier. My analysis is that this attendant has used this tactic on a number of patrons with some success and that he was trying to overcharge me like he did with other customers . I've been here a few times for my oil changes but I was very impressed with my last visit. They have me in depth information on my vehicle, my battery, etc. and none of it felt like an up sell. At one point I heard one of the tech's being joked with for taking so long and they responded that they felt it was cheating the costumer of their money to not give them the full breakdown -- exactly what I like to hear! The pricing is standard and the new wipers I purchased from them also work beautifully, just in time for the rainy season. read more

Took my Lexus to get oil change today. I think they did a good job, but there prices have doubled. If I hadn't needed a quick oil change I would have taken it to Lexis where they charge $100. I paid $125 today for the Synthetic Oil Mix and a cabin filter for $54.99. Last time I had it changed it was $24.99. I know things have increased in price, but this is ridiculous. I even had a $15.00 coupon. I guess I'll make sure I go back to the Lexus dealer. read more

These guys hustle and do awesome work for a reasonable price. Today I went in to have my car's a/c serviced, and cabin filter changed. Jacob worked on my car and delivered excellent service for half the price that Lithia Nissan (who btw never answers their phone or return any calls), charges. I highly recommend them. First time customer and very happy with the customer/vehicle attention, especially by the "lead guy" William ... the manager? Servicing is done with the customer still staying in the car (at least for oil change, which is what I had). Kind of neat to be a participant in the car check list, ie on demand demonstrating one turn light then the other, the high beams, etc. Before you go, check their website for any relevant service coupons (I had a $25 off one for synthetic oil change). They are also linked into carfax, so the servicing update will go right to your account there (another plus). Will look to use them again, in 5000 miles! read more

I had two serpentine belts changed on July 18, 2017 at Valvoline in Florence, OR. The technician told me if i noticed any squeeking to return to have the offending belt tightened. I went in today as i heard squeeking. Of course that tech was not there today. First they told me i had only had one belt changed, at this point i presented them with my paperwork showing 2 belts had been replaced. After 5 minutes of looking at my belts they suggested i have another belt replaced. At this point i told them to close the hood, give me my paperwork and i left. I highly recommend not going here, I can assure you it was my last time. read more

First time wasn't that good of experience, but figured I'd give them a second chance... second time will be my last - they had to change my oil twice because something wasn't right when I started my car, it was making a terrible noise. After they changed it twice, I left and my car started making weird noises and the check engine light came on. I didn't even bother going back, took it to someone else in town for another change hoping to fix the new noise and check engine light but it hasn't gone away. Went in and couldn't find the front desk. There are 2 rooms with nobody there. So I walk into the room that has a door open into where the service bays are. 2 vehicles were having service done and there are a couple people standing around talking. They all looked over and saw me and not one of them came in and asked if I needed help, nobody paid any attention to me during the 15 to 20 minutes I stood there.
