Wish I could put zero stars. This was about 2-3 months ago. I am from Washington State, so I feel like they were trying to take advantage. I came to absolute air trusting them and thinking it would be cheaper than going to a dealership... but I was wrong. I dropped my car off in for a coolant flush they quoted me for $275 I accepted, while I'm at work they call me that I don't need a coolant flush, but I need a water pump and it was gonna cost me $1,250 so I declined and said I would pick my car up and take it somewhere else. THEY DID NOT ASK FOR PERMISSION TO DO A SERVICE-CHECK ON MY CAR!!! They ended up doing a service check anyway and stripped 2 of my wheel studs off of my driver side tire and 1 stud on my rear passenger tire. They quoted me $1,100 to get it fixed, mind you I didn't ask for a service check but they did it anyway; and they still tried to charge me so much money. They let me take my car knowing it was dangerous to drive on the road, so I went straight to Subaru Dealership and they quoted me for $260 to replace those 3 studs, when Absolute Air was charging me $1,100 for their mistake. Like Gahhh Damnnn you guys are definitely scammers. I ended up getting all my receipts and pictures from Subaru Dealership and I took back my paperwork so they can pay me what I paid for their shitty mess. I'm glad I got paid my money that they f'ed up on, but never again will I go to a place like Absolute Air & Auto. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner was nice but after I brought him receipts and had my mechanic brother of 12+ years call him on his businesses bullshit scam, he wasn't as nice anymore.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So if anyone thinks a small auto repair shop is cheaper than a dealership, it really ain't. I would not recommend this business. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I scheduled my car drop off to get a an anticipated a/c recharge. The soonest open appointment was 10 days away so I booked it for a 1030am drop off on a Thursday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The front desk guy was super rude and made some inappropriate racist remarks when I told him I moved from Southern California stating "oh the terrorist state" and I caught a whiff of what smelt like alcohol on his breath.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He stated that the recharge would likely not fix the problem of my a/c which I explained works fine on the highway but not when at lower speed driving around town. He said that the diagnostic estimate was $151 and would include a recharge anyway and said "I'm just trying to give you the best deal for your money" as he said the recharge was $307. I have gotten other quotes for free but the google reviews said 4.7 stars and I drove all the way out there so I went with it and left my car there at 1030am I asked how long it will take and he told me "about an hour". [[HIGHLIGHT]]At 1230pm still no call from them, so I called them. They told me it was almost done and they would call me back. At 2pm still no call back so I called again and they said to give them my number and they "would call me right back", I did. At 330pm, still no call! I called for a third time and no answer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They close at 5pm. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's my day off I have things to do but can't without a car and I made an appointment for a reason![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Noe I'm not happy and I don't want them to close without getting my car back so I just get a uber to go back now during traffic hour which took forever and cost more money since it was busy times which was frustrating and had to wait in traffic all the way back there and when I arrive I see my car still in the shop with the drivers door open but nobody in my car. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I walk in the front office it's now 4:10pm and it's the same guy as earlier at the front desk and I say I called 3 times and I dropped my car off this morning at 1030am this morning don't you remember and the front desk guy goes "yeah I remember" with no apology or anything for why it was now 6 hours since I dropped I dropped my car off when he told me it would take an hour.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He was rude just as he was earlier and unprofessional and says that it's "almost done just finishing up with the estimate". Then he proceeds to tell me that it would cost 3500$ to fix stating my "compressor has completely blown up from the inside and needs a full replacement". My thought was how does that even makes since if it works just fine on the highway? Clearly super untrustworthy and unreliable, clearly taking advantage of me being a women. I just wanted to get my car and get out of there and never go back as clearly this is a unscrupulous business and assuming he's the manager he's extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this business to anyone and I definitely will NOT be returning. Plus the lie about the $151 diagnostic estimate including a recharge. Waste of $151 plus $50 in uber cost to leave my car. Plus a complete waste of an entire day without a car. Extremely disappointed! read more

First of all, [[HIGHLIGHT]]ABSOLUTE AIR AND AUTO REPAIR has the most reasonable prices in town, they are honest, highly knowledgeable in all that they do, are courteous and polite, and they provide a shuttle for the customers![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also love the fact that each month they provide coupons. A service I was contemplating havng done at the dealership quoted me $242. ABSOLUTE repair quoted me $142 and when I went to go pick up my car, they produced a coupon which brought the price down to $111! read more

Had to take an unexpected trip out of town and needed a quick tuneup and oil change. They scheduled me in the next morning and my car was done that afternoon. Their prices are very reasonable and their work was great. My 20 year old car made the trip successfully! In late July 2024 I took my truck for an AC repair estimate. The quote covered replacing the relay, switch, condensor, compressor, and the serepentine belt. In other words every part in the AC system. This truck is a 2015 with 52K miles on it, so very low miles/usage. I did not have them fix it since I didn't feel that every component needed to be replaced, didn't make sense. I took my truck to the dealership and they did the trouble shooting and replaced the compressor and it has been working great ever since the dealership fixed it, fo 2K less then this shop. They get one star at best. I save all the receipts from the dealership and the quote from this shop showing what tey wanted to charge. read more

Wow. My cigarette lighter (power source for my dashcam) went out. Others quoted me $130 to replace it. A friend recommended Absolute Air so I tried them--- they fixed the problem. Brought the car in at 9am, and several mechanics looked it over, discovered the blown fuse, replaced it, tested and then called me to come pick it up at 3pm. Bill: zero. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So friendly and nice I could not believe it, not something I am used to when dealing with most mechanics it seems.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They even gave me some spares should the fuse burn out again and showed me where it is so I can fix it. I had an issue with my cars power steering. My power steering would not work I had no idea what was going on. I took my car here and two hours later picked it up in perfect working condition. Turns out I had a little rodent infestation that messed up wires. They found it and fixed it in less than two hours. I would absolutely recommend taking your car here. Absolute Air was able to replace and repair a wide variety of issues so I was able to take to just one shop to get everything replaced or repaired, down to tires. I went to Absolute Air for a second opinion after my regular mechanic was going to charge me $2,000 for a new air compressor. The guys at Absolute Air looked at my car right away and found not only a faulty air compressor but several other issues with the A/C as well. If I had just replaced the compressor it would have died in a matter of weeks and I'd be right back where I started. They worked really hard to call around and find the right parts at a discount and ended up repairing multiple parts of the unit for $1,600. They answered all of my questions and walked me through what each part would cost and what could happen if I didn't replace it so I felt that I had options. They were fine with me doing just a few things and didn't pressure me to fix everything (thought that's what I ended up going with). Very helpful, professional, and did a great job on my car. They could've repaired, took the money, and not said anything about the other problem they saw, but they didn't. My dreaded check engine light came on. I had Absolute Air repair my air conditioning last year and they were great, so I took my vehicle to them for a diagnostic and estimate. The estimate came in at over $1000. As I left the shop after the diagnostic the check engine light was off. Today I went in to schedule the repair and told them the light had been off since their diagnostic. Brian advised that he would hold off on the repair unless the light came back on. What an honest and caring company this is. I recommend it to anyone, even little old ladies that don't understand what they are doing. read more

I went to Absolute air and auto repair and ask them to fix my air condition and ask them not to go over $400 they called me up and told me they needed extra parts so I allowed him to go up to $600. When I got it back the air conditioner did not work they tell me now that the compressor is out and it's going to cost another $400 for the compressor which I have found online for $100. I would not ever go back or recommend to any of my friends. read more

I came in from out of town to visit my wife's family and on the drive in our car started making some noises that sounded pretty bad. We were leaving in three days and needed some to look at it right away. We got a recommendation to go here and were not disappointed. They were able to squeeze in a diagnosis during their already full afternoon and then went even further and stayed late to make all the fixes! We ended up needing the alternator replaced and a few other things, belts and pulleys etc. They explained the situation in full detail before making any repairs and made sure to go the route that would fix the problem to a high standard while being as friendly to my wallet as possible.
