Never again !! I took my Tahoe in there to get the oil changed and they must have cross treaded the drain plug. so they forced an over sized bolt into the hole and sealed it with permetex. needless to say the oil pan is ruined and to add insult to injury they over tightened the oil filter. Those people have one job u would think they could get it right !!! It seems yelp cant get my address right. I live in lansing and took my Tahoe to the northeast street location.... So customer service reached out to me and said they would like to make things right. After I sent the information they requested they said they could not help me because I hadn't followed there strict maintenance guidelines. They didn't tell me what any of that had to do with the fact that one of there employees had damaged my vehicle. good thing I caught it before any serious damage was done. My advice to anyone reading this is to take your vehicle somewhere else. if they wouldn't reimburse my for my oil pan do you think they would for something more serious ? read more

They close at 7. I understand it's hard to know what the internet says about you, but when you drive down Saginaw around rush hour to get there at 7:18, only to find out they close at 7. I politely said, as they were leaving for home and walking to their cars, "internet says you're open till 7:30 on apple maps and yelp. He replied in the most ngaf manner that they close at 7. In 1:26 / out 1:51pm weekend. 3 people worked on it at once. Checked lights, air filter, battery. Gave me 3 options for oil. Accepted coupon. 5 dollars off air filter with oil. 10 dollars off wipers with oil change. Added oil change to my carfax. Explained everything. Didn't even leave my car. Just pulled in, watched while they shouted out their assembly line lingo. Confirmed oil after and had me rev engine to double check. Manager Randy was great. Highly enjoyable. read more

I took my car in for a oil change and was recommended a transmission flush and they messed it up and didn't put enough fluid in and then my transmission burned. I called to have them settle everything and David Curtis told me I needed better evidence that they messed up. So, oil changes aren't typically a memorable experience. However, this one was. I was road-tripping from Oregon to Connecticut, and got my oil changed in Minneapolis. Realized after I left that the check engine light was still on, and that my tires were soft. So I rolled into this Valvoline, and encountered the kindest and most welcoming people I had met in the service industry thus far. Everyone was smiling, chipper, and even commented on liking the stickers on my car! Got my tires filled up right quick, my check engine light reset, and a hearty 'have a great day ma'am' by the gal who waved me out. I love the good people of Michigan!!! read more
