Although they perform mainly oil changes, a few of the guys were able to take a more in depth look and were able to easily explain to me their opinions and to suggest what my next step should be. They filled up my coolant and gave me some pointers on driving to my next destination. I greatly appreciated their help and guidance. Very professional group. Just left. Oily black hand prints left on my front paint, engine cover. Left my battery terminal cover open, hooking up some silly "battery tester"....trying to upsell you everything on top of the $65 regular oil change. Came here for an oil change , which I normally do myself but I was pressed on time before I went out of town for work. I drove 6 hours to my destination, got to the hotel and went to bed. When I went to my truck in the morning I noticed a big oil puddle underneath my truck. And therefore I checked underneath my truck and found the problem, which wasn't hard to find. The oil filter underneath the truck wasn't even tightened. I could easily turn it with my hand. This is UNACCEPTABLE! I travel a lot for work and my motor could have blown if I didn't notice the oil spill underneath my truck. An oil change business that can't do a proper oil change, that's pathetic. Waste of $200. My son oil change was done Auguse 31st 2025. September 9,2025 @ 2 in the morning my son had to pull over on the side of the road panicking because his car was smoking on the inside and outside I told him son whatever you do try not to get ran over on 59. Me and my daughter went a few hours later thinking it just ran hot. I checked the oil it was bone dry. I instantly stopped by Valvoline to talk to the manger explained everything he seemed very generous and concerned in the beginning. He told me he would go to my son car with tools and oil. which was weird when I told him the motor was blown. so with him calling me the next day on a recorded line with valvoline customer service stating he could'not get under the car because it was pushed into the grass you darn right it was. I didn't want it to get hit. but then he turned around and said but the drain plug was tight. hmmm I'm sure it was after you tighten it when you got there. I trusted him to be truthful we are all humans and make mistakes. But they are refusing to take care of my son motor being blown and is blaming it on his car being a 2013 with a loose oil cap. and remind you I had just left my son car and checked the oil I just didn't tighten the cap back up. I've dealt with them for years. I'm very disappointed and furious never again will I spend my money there. We are stuck with a $2.919.04 bill to get it fixed while my son is stuck still having to pay a car note and also pay to catch a ride to work. read more

LOVE this place! The guys are all so sweet. They don't try to upsell you, they are friendly, and the price is super reasonable. Nate and Smiley were my favorites! It's nice to have an oil change shop where they are so kind to you and don't make you feel weird as a woman getting car stuff done. They also give you free car wash passes! Baited w/ free car wash then later said they don't do that anymore, which is fine but didn't tell me until I came back from car wash after embarrassing myself there. The service tech said it wasn't his job to tell me about a policy change. That's fine too. So, Cypress Lube Express or Twin Cities will get my next oil changes. read more

After waiting at Gateway for what felt like FOREVER for an oil change and tire rotation, I was able to go right down the street and have both done in 20 minutes. I was so grateful for their speedy, efficient, and thorough service. They were so kind and friendly and I couldn't thank them enough for the phenomenal service they provided! Best oil change experience ever! The team seemed to be in sync and was very communicative. The staff was very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. They even offered my girls treats while they waited. I love that I didn't have to get out of my car...and also how they didn't try to sell me products I didn't need. I pulled in and was almost immediately rejected because my car is low to the ground. The workers admitted that recently another car like mine tried to get their oil changed there and ended up with the bottom of their car badly scratched. The workers and I agreed to just pull the car in slowly, which worked without any damage (that I have noticed). Ten minutes later, once they were ready to start the oil change, I was notified that they did not have the recommended oil in stock. Which left me with the option to buy an oil that would void a dealership warranty and potentially cause long term engine damage, or their "slightly more expensive" oil that cost $100+. Because I like my car without engine damage, and at that point I just needed an oil change, I went with the $100+ option. Two of the three workers were unprofessional; the one that gave me my options for the oil was rude. The oil change itself was fine, but it was quite expensive ($120) and a hassle. I will definitely not be back. read more
