This is the second time to take my truck in for service for touch up paint. Dusty and or crew will walk you through what they think and give you a couple options. They also price things very reasonable. Today I got a phone call from him saying I believe we buffed the spots out pretty well and the touch up paint isn't needed. He said why don't you come up here and see what I'm talking about, and you can decide if you want it painted or not, but I don't see the need. Once I got there, he showed me, and I couldn't agree more with the work. Most shops will just say in needs it to, so you spend your money, but he pretty much said you don't need to spend the $500 you thought. Talk about integrity!!! I feel like the value that I have received both times have been well worth it and the work is also amazing. I'd recommend G2G Paint and body shop to a million out of a million people. He was able to repair my wheel within an hour for at least half the cost of a big name company. I ended up paying $45 for repairing about 70% of the rim lip. He did his best to mix paints and match the color, but the result was more than acceptable. I would go back to him for future repairs. Keep in mind it's a one man shop and cash only! I recommend calling ahead before dropping by.

The temporary spare didn't allow more than about 70-ish miles on it per trip, so we found the nearest big city (Texarkana) and nearest Discount Tire, which was handily on the highway! I booked an appointment for first thing next morning to replace the busted tire, and also inspect the rest since we noticed a nail in the tread of another while rotating the wheels to put the spare on the back. They knew we had to get on our way due to the note I left plus chatting with us, and were mindful of our timeframe and got us out in 30 minutes! (Pro Tip: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, no matter what.) I can't say enough about using Discount Tire for your tire needs: they specialize in this and know what they're doing! We had bought the "certificates" on these tires last time, not really knowing it would be used, but drove away paying only $49 to certify the new tire (saving over $200) with the other nail repair, inspection, mounting and balancing for free. I can't imagine using anyone else!

The person I spoke to was rude and kept saying "What you see online is correct. You just need to order it online". So I ordered it online. Later that day I get a call saying "We only have 3 of those wheels in the warehouse and cannot get any more. Would you like to pick another?" I said no. Just cancel the order. The next day I tried to order wheels somewhere else but couldn't because Discount still hasn't cancelled the order and issued me a refund. I called customer service and got no where with them either. Don't go to one of these places if you expect anything that resembles service.

I'm really not one who does surveys but I had to write about my recent experience early this morning. This is kind of long so you might want to sit down for this one. I figured that if I'm going to write a review of my experiences I might as well make the best of it lol... Every time I take my vehicle in to Big Brand Tire & Service they exceed with exceptional service. All of the associates are very knowledgeable and professional. Oh, and I must mention how friendly, courteous, and polite they are. Usually when it's early in the morning some people attitude just isn't there. They're groggy, not happy to assist you and they don't have a problem letting you know that. But that is NOT the case at Big Brand Tire & Service in Marshall TX. At Big Brand Tire & Service the team members treat and respect customers like family and not like we're money to their pocket. I've never gone in there and had a bad experience. It's always been a positive and friendly atmosphere as well as a good relationship with customers. I HIGHLY recommend this place for all of your vehicle needs. It's definitely a one stop from a set of new tires to oil change et. And their prices are very reasonable. It's where me and my husband gets our tires and whatever else little things that we need to have done.. I went in this morning because one of my tire was going flat. Through the warranty purchased with my last nice new set of tires they rolled out "figurative" the red carpet as soon as I walked through the door. They address me by Mrs. Boyd and they even fixed my coffee because I wasn't familiar with the coffee machine. In addition I loved the way they interacted as team members with each other. The atmosphere in the way they communicated, they way they, and interchange with each other was genuine; which is great because we; as customs may not say anything but we are definitely watching and noticing the attitude of how the associates treats their colleague. I'm a firm believer that a team is only as good as its leadership. The associates really represents the extension of who their manage/leader or CEO are. Keep up the good work Guys. On way to Needville Tx, we had a blowout on our trailer. We were stuck between Jefferson and Marshall. Called tire stores, ended up with a quote and "yes we can" at 4:00pm. Roadside came to assist and we were soon on our way. Pulled into the Hometown, 40 minutes later we were rolling down the road with 4 new tires and a smile on our face. Over three years, she brought her car in three separate times for brake issues. Twice they claimed the problem was fixed, yet her brakes kept wearing out in less than a year. Only on the third visit did they finally say the calipers were bad--something that should have been identified from the beginning. They took zero responsibility for the repeated repairs or the unnecessary costs. She has now spent close to $5,000 on what should have been a straightforward repair. To make matters worse, they tried to charge us around $800 for calipers, while multiple other shops quoted under $500. When I refused to overpay and took the car elsewhere, they voided the warranty on the $2,000 of work she had just paid them for. This experience feels incredibly unethical. I would strongly recommend avoiding this shop and getting a second opinion before trusting them with your vehicle.

Avoid if you value torque specs: I Took my car to Tidwell recently to have my wheels balanced and…read moredespite me leaving notes above the wheel arches specifying the lug nut torque spec (85lb-ft) and specifically asking the front desk to torque the nuts to spec. When I attempted to remove them a couple days later they were incredibly tight, and I ended up grabbing my torque wrench to see what it took to remove them - and every lug nut maxed out my wrench at over 190lb-ft... would be frustrating to have this happen from a cheap shop, but especially from a "premium" one like Tidwell. But that's not all. I then spent a few weeks (and a little over $1000) chasing down a cyclical tapping noise from somewhere in the driveline only to eventually have a shop discover that the wheel weights used were installed poorly because they didn't fit the rim profile correctly and were rattling about at certain speeds. They said the wheel weights should have been the stick on kind and not the clips for the rim shape. Worth mentioning that I had requested stick in weights because I prefer those anyway, but was told they didn't have any. I've used Tidwell before a few times and they're more expensive than most, so I thought I would be getting better service. This wasn't the only time they over torqued my lugs but it was the most extreme, and it will certainly be the last. I almost didn't bother with making this review, but discovering they botched the wheel weights was too much.
