I went for an oil change and I was treated absolutely horrible. One for being a woman they thought that they could try to make me believe things that were not wrong with my car. They tried to sell me on products that I did not even need and I knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle just needed a plain oil change. The manager that works in the store by the name of Alberto tried to get my phone number basically kept making sexual advances at me and made me feel like I was a piece of meat. Due to my high mileage I needed a synthetic oil change. I checked on Groupon and they had a really good deal, as I shopped around and noone could beat this price. I pulled in right away, showed my groupon voucher and was told either I could sit in my car while it was being serviced or sit outside on their chairs. They also told me it would be 15 to 20 mins top. It's a beautiful day and the seating was in the shade so I sat outside. My car was done in about 12 minute tops and I was on my way. May come off a bit salesy because they do the same song and dance that other places do and show you how filthy your air filter is. With that said,, the employees are every welcoming, seem knowledgeable, and honest. Do yourself a favor and check out Groupon before going. They offer a great deal for full synthetic which I bought a couple weeks back. (Must wait at least 24 hours to use) the deal includes all fluid top off and full car check. Well, you sit in your car, they call you up, run through a list of what you need and also what kind of oil change you want. Regular is $45 and synthetic is $75. They check your fluids, pump air in the tires, check your wiper blades, and change your oil all within 15 minutes. I got a Yelp $5 off coupon but if I'd gotten a Groupon it would have been even less. I accompanied a friend to get his oil change done. We went earlier today (Monday afternoon). My friend swears by this place and wanted me to check it out too. When we pulled up to the entrance, there were a few cars ahead of us. A guy came by and told us they would be right with us after they service the other cars. We didn't wait long. Soon, the same guy, Richard, gestured us to pull up the car into the entrance area. This was my first time experiencing an oil change that you can just stay in your car, so that was cool. My friend said the service is usually really fast. Richard instructed my friend to check his lights, brake, signals, etc. Then Rodney started checking the front and the engine, and they proceeded with the oil change. We walked to Taco Bell next door and came back in a few minutes. The car was pretty much done. The total cost ended up being: $19.99 (Groupon) for conventional oil Plus additional $13 something for the rest of the oil quarts, etc. So, not bad for oil change compared to $50+ regular prices! And the service was great! By the way, there's free wifi for customers to use while waiting. Thanks guys! I think I'll be coming here instead of Jiffy Lube next time for my car. read more

DO NOT have your oil changed here. I was there for an hour waiting and I thought that was the worse of my trip there. While they were working on my car one of the guys was being tested on everything they were doing to my car. At one point the supervisor told the guy working the oil type, he apparently didnt hear him, said something else the supervisor just watched him use the wrong oil. After a few minutes the guy looks at him and says "thats wrong isnt it" the supervisor nodded his head. The problems I had following the completion of my oil change has me wondering what really was done. They showed me every filter that was dirty and needed to be replaced. When I said no they had an attitude, but it gets better. I am finally done and ready to leave I turn the car on and my battery light comes on. I told the supervisor and he said "I just told you the battery checked out fine" he had the worst attitude. Huffs and puffs and tells me to pop the hood. Like a drama queen he said see I told you everything is fine. I explained that there wasnt a battery problem before I got there and now the light is one, what could have happened. He closed the hood and told me to start the car, I did and the battery light was not on. I pulled out of the bay and it came back on. I got out of my car and said it was back on, his reply was well then you need to take it to a mechanic because nothing they did would have caused this to happen. I explained my frustration and he continued to say there was nothing he could do to help me and that the computer told him my battery was good. I shouldnt have left. Not even a mile down the road all of my dashboard lights came on and then off AND on again. There was traffic and when I was stopped and the car was in idle the gas gauge was going up and down non stop. Thankfully my house was only a few miles away so I went home. Turned off the car and tried to restart it, NOTHING happened it was completely dead. I called the store, no answer. Called back and someone picked up and hung up. I called again, after 10-15 rings someone picks up and I started to explain my situation, he interrupts me to say that this was not the location I was at and the calls get forwarded if they are not answered. I continue to explain the situation, he asks me to hold and tries to get the store on the phone. No luck. In the meantime I want to know what they are going to do about my car. He transfers me to the che case would be emailed to the store and they had 24 hours to respond. I wasnt happy because now I am stuck at home with no car and no way to get to work. The supervisor calls me back several hours later. He continues to insist that whatever happened to my car had nothing to do with what they worked on. Rudely said, and I told you the battery is fine so its probably an electrical problem. I asked, so thats it? Too bad for me that now my car wont start and I need to figure out how to get it to a mechanic. I explained that the corporate office said that they could send someone to jump the car so that I could get to the mechanic. When I asked the supervisor if someone could come do that, he said lady I dont have people sitting around that I can just send to your house. Are you kidding me? He offered no solution to the problem. I asked when could they come, he said that he didnt know and they close in 2 hours. I explained how his customer service was horrible and even if it was a coincidence that this happened how could he just not give a shit. Thats when he said that he would come to my house on his way home to jump the car for me. I said thank you and I never heard from him again. Didnt show up, didnt call and didnt follow up with me the next day. Basically they did nothing but tell me it was not their problem. I paid $140 for an oil change and a filter and my car doesnt work. Stopped in and the place was pretty busy, but the guys appeared to be working as a team and were very efficient getting cars in and out in a timely manner. They didn't push any unnecessary maintenance and they were very courteous. The guy helping me noticed I was military and applied a 15% discount on top of thanking me for serving. The manager cashed me out and was sure to ask how his team did, seems like he runs a tight ship and I appreciate that. If I ever need an oil change in this area I'll come back here again. Came here after seeing 2 recommendations for this location. I dread getting any car services because it's just so mundane. My experience today makes me believe this will be my new service location. My husband and I weren't feeling great but had to get my oil changed and thank goodness it's like a "drive-thru" so that we didn't have to expose anyone to our colds and we were comfortable enough in the car. Service was quick enough and just to the point. The mechanics all looked pretty young but they had a system of communication going that made them seem more mature in their positions. The guy that helped us had a shirt that said Williams but he said his name was Miguel (I believe) and he was great; explained our options and was just kind overall. They say 15 minutes for an oil change. I know it will take longer but 1 hour and 20 minutes inside the Bay (Im not including the 40 minutes waiting to drive up inside) already is just ridiculous. Not even a shop that you have to get out of your car & has to lift up your car takes this long. Sitting in your car does sound nice but after an hour it gets real Hot and uncomfortable. I went the day before and an employee told me the best time to go for a shorter waiting time was when they first opened. This morning I went before they opened, four cars were in front of me. I was told the waiting time would be an hour, which was fine. An hour passed by and they told me to wait behind a car that was being attended to. 10 minutes later the 2 bays from the other side of the garage became vacant. They called in 2 cars, who arrived after me, to get in. I reminded the man that I was here first and he told me that Id be out before them- I was still waiting in line. 30 minutes later they pulled me in, at this point I have been waiting for 2 hours... but as advertised, I figured I would be out in 15 minutes. 15 mins pass by, the two cars who came after me finished and 2 new cars were asked to go in. one of those cars got their oil changed and left before mine was even done. THREE hours I waited... I am so disappointed of the disservice and lack of respect I felt today at Valvoline. I hope no one experiences this. read more

6/22/20 Update: Just spent 16 minutes on a phone call with the so called, "Manager" of this establishment and a CSR who was notating the call. The amount of hostility that was given by this manager was despicable; so much so, that I had to cut him off and told him to refrain from speaking to me any further. When a customer brings unprofessional behavior to your attention, the appropriate response is, "I'm sorry you had that experience, we will look into the matter, and move forward accordingly;" NOT blaming the customer for a lack of maintenance on their vehicle? Especially when your employees were inexperienced and unprofessional. Had my concerns been met with an iota of professionalism, I would have dropped the matter and moved on.
