They just checked off "good" for safety checks and maintenance and checked that for my windshield wipers without even looking at them. Just got done with oil change. Drove away to a loud grinding sound and immediately went back to file a complaint. A bunch of childish children working there and honestly I don't know what to think. They were joking and making stupid noises while working on my car. What are my recourses in this situation. I drove my car in great and I drive out to a horrible grinding noise. Everything seemed fine until I found this bolt just lying under the hood. I'm not going to go back here if they can't replace the bolts properly after taking my car apart. The service seemed great but this carelessness is just super sus. How would Valvoline feel if I took out a few bolts from their front door? This is a long, 5K mile-overdue 5-star review. Back when I banned Jiffy lube for their very poor service, I came here without much expectation. It was Zellie who helped me and they have been very accommodating and friendly. They take the time to go through the protocol and checking of the usual lights, brake, filter etc, making the effort to explain what they're doing and providing exceptional service. I'm due for another oil change and it doesn't bother me to wait in line at a 105 degree temp because I know they will take care of my car. They do a good job on oil changes and replacing the oil filter, but they never complete all the services that are included in the price. They are also supposed to check the tire pressure. Last three times, I looked the service guy in the eyes and asked him if he checked my tire pressure even though I know he did not. All three times they lied. Just a heads up. read more

I have been using this location for years! They are extremely convenient and fast! The mechanics are always friendly, and they usually do extra things as a courtesy, for example, I kept getting low air on a tire and I asked them if they could please check my tire to see if there was a nail or something visible that was causing the low air pressure. I should have written a review about them sooner than now, but this time the customer service was above and beyond. I happened to be at 7-11 and I walked over to see if I could get my service history for my current car. The manager Juan was great! He noticed me immediately and came over to ask how he could help. Even though they were busy, Juan was really fast at getting my records. Zelly was also nice enough to converse with me while I was waiting so that I didn't feel so awkward standing alone and without my car. I hope I see them again when I get my next oil change. I've been visiting this shop for several years, but no more! They tried to rip me off yesterday 6/17/23. I was told by the female tech that my battery came back "bad" after test results and that it needed immediate replacement. I was offered a new battery for $210.00. I declined and had my battery checked at Pep Boys the next day. It came back "good!" I have included the battery test results proving that my battery was fine. I usually use that brand for change oil but in that Northridge location, I don't recommend don't go there because they are really lack with their job and not taking serious. When they changed my oil, they didn't close the cover! I was driving the whole time and kept hearing & feel the funny sound until my fiancé checked under and found out that part was damaged and wasn't close! Its really dangerous and that surprised me how they didn't really being careful with their job! So my fiancé took my suv and lucky the manager saw it and took care of it right away. But it doesn't really replace to match suv model cover, they used cheap tie it up which it won't last long to hold it. Recommend not to go there, I usually go to burbank or different for better services. read more
