    I've been coming here for years for my oil changes, so I returned when it was time. While they were looking over my car, an employee told me my coolant was overfilled and should be changed, I don't recall the last time this was done so I had them do it. I got home and saw the reservoir was completely empty. I returned the next day and showed them, they performed the service again, when I left the reservoir was filled, again I got home and empty, I went back the third day in a row, after making excuses like the machine wasn't working and that there was a leak (after telling me it was overfilled at first). This time I let the car run and drove it around for awhile while they kept refilling. The point being this service can't be done quickly. My mechanic said there needs to be a pressure test when this is done, but their machine was broken which I wasn't told until later, this should never been offered. Oh did I mention not once did anyone say they're sorry.

    Rigo helped me tolday with my oil change he was very kind and made me feel super comfortable! Efren checked my tire pressures for me And Ivan and James did my oil change they were fast efficient and super accommodating. I love this jiffy lube they always do a wonderful job.

    Highly recommend.  Ladies take your car here for car  service...they are professional , friendly, and most of all honest.

That was the exact reasoning given. This was not about warranty. It was not about saving me money. I was fully prepared to pay for an inspection or any necessary correction. I was simply asking for a professional second opinion. If a shop refuses work because they're concerned a customer might "get upset," that raises serious questions about confidence in their own work. A reputable shop stands behind its skills and diagnoses issues regardless of who previously touched the vehicle. Changing the explanation publicly after the fact does not reflect well. I stand by what I said. I had a very disappointing experience at Automotive Instincts in Northridge. I called and spoke with Steve about looking at my car after another shop had worked on it, and he basically told me they didn't want to touch it because another shop already did the work. His reasoning was that he didn't want me to "get upset at them too." That makes absolutely no sense. As a customer, I'm simply looking for a professional second opinion or proper correction if something wasn't done right. Refusing to even inspect the vehicle just because another shop previously worked on it feels unprofessional and dismissive. Cars get worked on by multiple shops all the time -- that's normal. Turning someone away out of fear of a bad review instead of standing behind your own skills says a lot. Very disappointing customer service. I expected more professionalism and confidence from a shop with such high ratings.

I specifically asked the tech if they can put my car back to factory spec, he said no problem. I picked the car back up and drove it not even 4 months. The tires are completely worn out because the tech said -3.5 is the factory spec! That's completely false! The factory spec is -0.88 (which they have ON FILE). so came back to the shop and Hugo refused to help me with new tires, they only refunded the cost of the alignment. He agreed that the alignment was done incorrectly and that the tires are worn due to their negligence, but he doesn't care and won't do anything about covering the cost of the tires. Don't trust these crooks, they just came, raised the prices, and refused to do the right thing.

I requested a brake inspection, which was really quick, turned out I had to get my rear brakes changed. They offered to do it the same day for a very reasonable price and less than 3 hours later, my car was ready. Joe has worked on my car for small items like brakes and oil changes all the way up to getting some check engine light issues fixed. Pricing is always great. Brought my car here for a diagnostic thinking the issue was one thing only to find out "no, you don't need that," and saved me a bunch of money I would have likely spent elsewhere. He didn't push me to fix anything that didn't need fixing and pointed out a few things that were old that I might want replaced so I just took all his suggestions because it's a very old car and it needed some extra care. I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill.The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.

And I just had another GREAT experience today with Natalie, Raquel and Rubio. My car started making weird noises last week, so my dad replaced my serpentine belt. But it was still making some weird sounds the day I got it back so I took it to Firestone. Natalie kept my car to try recreating the sound. She couldn't. She told me the sound I heard was my new belt just adjusting itself, and didn't charge me anything. This is why I trust them. They don't make stuff up. They're not money driven.
