My family and I have been coming to this specific location for oil changes, small repairs, and check-ups for years and years, and we are never let down. Rigo, the manager, is always so nice and takes the time to explain everything and hear us out about what we need. He always goes above and beyond to make sure our car has what it needs and is always honest about what does not need to be changed, instead of trying to maximize profits. The employees, like Anthony and Efran are always super helpful over the phone and when we arrive to make sure we know how much we're going to spend and how long it will take. All of the employees, including the manager, are efficient and we are in and out of there. Part of my vehicle's undercarriage is missing screws. Earlier today I called and spoke with Ulysses, who was very helpful and assured me I could come in to have it fixed. He explained that if the exact screws were not available, they could use an alternative solution and that it would not be an issue. When I arrived, I was assisted by Efron, who was extremely rude and dismissive. He repeatedly interrupted me, refused to let me speak with Ulysses, and immediately shut down the conversation by saying they did not have the screws, without offering any alternative or attempt to help. His behavior was unprofessional and made the situation unnecessarily frustrating. Customer service should be respectful and solution-oriented. This experience fell far below that standard. read more

I went to this Jiffy Lube location recently and had a really disappointing experience. The woman working there asked me what type of oil my car takes, and I told her isn't that something you can just look up based on the vehicle. She told me no, that she has to "take my word for it," and if it's wrong and it messes up the engine then that's on me. That honestly made me feel really uncomfortable and didn't seem right at all. I even had my employee go, and I've never had this happen at any other Jiffy Lube before -- usually they verify what the car needs themselves. There was no one waiting in line either, so it didn't feel like a rushed situation. It just came off like she didn't want to do the job or take responsibility. I've been coming here for years for my oil changes, so I returned when it was time. While they were looking over my car, an employee told me my coolant was overfilled and should be changed, I don't recall the last time this was done so I had them do it. I got home and saw the reservoir was completely empty. I returned the next day and showed them, they performed the service again, when I left the reservoir was filled, again I got home and empty, I went back the third day in a row, after making excuses like the machine wasn't working and that there was a leak (after telling me it was overfilled at first). This time I let the car run and drove it around for awhile while they kept refilling. The point being this service can't be done quickly. My mechanic said there needs to be a pressure test when this is done, but their machine was broken which I wasn't told until later, this should never been offered. I don't like being lied to. I'll say that first. I came in for an oil change in August and the workers forgot to screw back in my splash guard. They put back in like maybe 2 screws. I drive out of the Jiffy Lube and after a few minutes I heard a huge boom underneath my car followed by a dragging sound because my splash guard was damaged. Those screws are custom and there aren't aftermarket parts for it so I had to drive my car somewhere to lift it and pull it out and Mickey Mouse it with some washers. I was so mad because that is just simple negligence and could have been avoided. I told the floor manager Rigo as we spoke over the phone and he said he noted a free oil change for me and that I could come in any time for it. Today is October 26, 2025. I came in for my oil change and they said they see nothing about it. They caused damage to my vehicle and didn't fulfill their promise to make it right. Meh honestly- came here tryna fix my breaks. I was informed that the breaks service won't be available until next week. Prior to that I was in my car waiting for over 20 minutes for someone to come up to me. There were 3 people working on one car and finally a man from the inside came to advise me about the breaks. He was the only decent thing about the experience as he advised me about how they aren't fixing breaks because they don't offer that service. Which does suck though because it's advertised. Took a while to write this review as I debated taking them to small claims court but decided it wasn't worth wasting my time so I will leave a review instead. I went to get an oil change this year on June 2nd for my toyota Prius. I left and then on June 7th my car's engine stopped on the freeway and I had to tow my car to my mechanic due to the car being inoperable. After my mechanic did some diagnostic tests they found that "the mass air flow to be contaminated with oil due to an overfilled crankcase. They then drained the oil and refilled it to the appropriate amount. They then had to change the 12V battery because it was completely dead due to the oil issue. A $550 dollar job. My mechanic said all this happened because whoever changed my oil overfilled, it causing wear to the crankcase and causing my battery to wear out. When I tried to contact Jiffy Lube, the district manager interrogated me and basically blamed it on me for not taking my car directly to them. Which I had no idea I needed to do and because of that, they basically claimed I was lying and trying to scam them. in his words, he said they didn't owe me anything and after essentially begging and not backing down I got them to offer me a refund for the oil change plus $50 which he said I should feel lucky I'm getting. This didn't come close to the $550 bill. Thanks for losing a customer. Beware all if they mess up your car don't expect them to make it right. read more

Just came back from a very unpleasant experience at the Jiffy Lube located on Reseda Boulevard and Devonshire. Long story short, my truck is part of a vehicle fleet program. The location on Devonshire, took over an hour only to tell me they would not be able to process a simple oil change due to the fact that they could not log into the Vehicle fleet system. I even offered to pay via credit card, and they said no. Angered and frustrated, I left and went to the other location here at Reseda Boulevard and Plummer. I spoke with Angel, and he took great care of me. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. He had issues as well logging into the Vehicle fleet system, but understood the situation, and realized my company would make things right and pay the invoice regardless. He went above and beyond, was able to think outside the box, and provided top-notch customer service. These are the type of individuals and businesses that should be rewarded and applauded. too often do we settle for mediocrity.
