Amazing customer service always smiles when being greeted in. BUT why isn't there any Air conditioning in the lobby. Thankfully I didn't bring my baby and need to sit in an air conditioned environment while my vehicle was off. Side note/ corporate if your AC wasn't working I'm sure this issue would be resolved while sitting at your desks but these hard working men don't have a functioning AC for when they come into the lobby for even a break? read more

The worst customer service. I went to get an oil change here for the first time & had thee worst experience. No one approached me to let me know anything but once 3 white women pulled up 3 separate times after me they all got approached & service before me which I found to be very prejudice. I have never experienced that kind of treatment & I will not be back. I would not recommend going here if you are not white they will service them first & act as if you're invisible. First and foremost, the fact that you get to remain in your car is BINGO! For me!!! Seriously... geniuuusss!!! The real miracle in all of this is that my son's undivided attention is focused on watching everybody, rather than using my car as his personal jungle gym!! Very few things can do that! So bravo Valvoline ! Every time I have been here it has been a pleasure! The wait has never been more than 10 mins! I have received several services, full oil change, tire rotation, wind shield wipers... and every time I leave, it's with full satisfaction! Three ans a half hour wait. Just getting ready to give up ans go home and a young man named Anthony(Squirrel) told me he would get me up into a bay and get me started while I waited for the one man they had available underneath the bays. He was so nice that I decided to pull up into the bay and work on my truck. He got things started and while we were waiting for the guy underneath the bays, he talked me into a radiator flush and printed out other things that needed to be done for my truck. He was really kind and completely professional and acted like he was caring for his own grandmother. He is the only reason I would go back to the 17th st, Ocala Valvoline. read more

Valvoline instant oil change located at 1801 sw 17th St. Ocala, FL. Do not go to this location! Horrible service, bad experience.... I arrived at 8:20am for " an instant oil change" I was still waiting in a bay at 10:00am! I asked the manager to explain to me what was going on. He said their replacing a battery in a fleet vehicle, they'll be done in 10 minutes..I said I'll give them 10 more minutes, then I'm gone. Just as I thought they were finished with the fleet vehicle, they started raising the vehicle I assume to now rotate the tires. BTW, I had a cue card put on windshield showing I was next, however, the manager proceeded to pull in another vehicle and began working on it......never again read more

!!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!! Terrible service my wife waited an hour to not have any work done on my car because she had to leave in absolute disgust after a worker there with ginger hair , took a video of her feet on his personal phone with the Snapchat app. The work had asked to open the door to see the "vin" and then proceeded to record and take a picture of her feet and then quickly put the phone away without writing anything down. Then the worker returned to his car to do who knows what. The absolute disgusting act is irredeemable absolutely unacceptable. I hope this message makes it to corporate. Taking videos of a persons body without there permission on a personal phone is beyond disgusting. read more

I have a 2017 Ram Crew Cab I purchased to replace the 2014 model that was totaled by a sleeping speeder entering the highway. My '17 is as close to a clone as I could find of the '14 that probably saved my life. I take extra good care of the truck and normally go to the dealership for service with synthetic oil and whatever else the factory trained techs advise. Occasionally I go over the recommended mileage between services and use this Valvoline service provider exclusively when doing so. As a former Toyota service writer and Landcruiser owner, I'm fussy about all this. Let me just say, when I'm overdue (rarely) I find the best seven day open service possible to fill in for the factory trained dealer shop. Bring your vehicle here for routine preventive service with confidence in your decision to do so. read more

This place does not care about its people or its customers. They will lie to you and not give you the oil you wanted. They will do anything to make the sale. If they do not have the oil, you need they will put in something else and tell you they didn't. I am a former employee and I know this because I've seen it. They will charge you for FULL SYNTHETIC and only put in SYNTHETIC BLEND! They've done this multiple times in the past year. Do you have a European car? You need special European oil. If they don't have it, they will put whatever they have in there and lie to you! worse part is the managers know and tell us to do it. The area manager Kory Patten knows of all this and tells us to do it. They will 10000 percent do whatever it takes to take your money and they won't care about your car. I've seen a lot of shady work that is ethically wrong, and this place should not be open. read more

Word of advice - avoid this place. Let's talk about my last three visits to this place. 1. Asked for full synthetic which I was not to sure I received. They had trouble getting the filter off of my Subaru Outback. They got a wrench and banged around while they cussed and acted like fools. They yanked my air filter out so they could attempt to sell me one (not dirty at all so I said no and then more cursing as they attempt to get it back in. Overall, just an unprofessional experience. Now why would I bother going back you ask? Honestly I have no clue other than this is the oil change place I have always used, and they really did used to be the best. Anyway....let's move on. Trip #2. The guy waltzes out and says "oh sorry our entire system just went down so we can't work right now". Cause you know God forbid they hand write a ticket and enter them later. Trip #3. The guy waltzes out and says "oh sorry I just used the last filter I had for another Outback" really? So you just have a plethora of outback's coming through for oil changes? Nissans maybe but not outback's, so he was lying for whatever reason. Same dude as excuse #2 by the way. The red beard dude. I don't know who owns this place or if they care at all but I hope this chump shop gets shut down permanently. Worst experience I have ever had! Lack of knowledge and total incompetence. Warning light on after tire rotation that they can not fix! Told me to go to dealership, even though they acknowledged the light was not on before they serviced vehicle (Parking brake warning light). Refused to refund cost of rotation. I spent hours there for an oil change and tire rotation and drove off with warning light on. Incompetent, slow, and poor customer service. My car has 21,000 miles on it, never had an issue in the 3 years I've owned it until this place serviced it. Absolutely do not go here. read more

I almost never have an issue with the Valvoline oil change. It is done timely and correctly. I deny services like m wipers, no problem they go on about what they're doing. I drive a van with a lot of miles and have always been happy with the service. It is about the only place that can lube a vehicle anymore. They also gave me a five dollar off coupon for the carwash next-door. Full synthetic oil change, 6 quarts, new air filter and walk out the door for less than $105 that's a fair price read more

This Valvoline nearly destroyed my car and then gave ME the run around afterwards. Their Area Manager Tom is also a liar. They failed to tighten my oil filter and on my family vacation to Disney my the rear of my car started smoking white smoke and there was oil all over the rear of my Mustang covertible. Luckily Mike the manager over at a reputable Valvoline in Clermont took care of me. He told me that had I driven another mile my car engine would have seized up and my engine would have been destroyed. Then this asshat Tom who claims to also be the market manager which is also a lie (verified through their corporate office) tells me he watched a video showing their guy doing the tightening but when asked to reproduce a copy he of course never called back and refused to do so. Now he has told me to take my car elsewhere. That is the only thing he does not need to worry about. I have finally gotten help at the corporate level after running into a very unhelpful Alexis there who will make sure I get my money back and these asshats get reprimanded. At this point thanks to Danita at corporate they may potentially avoid a lawsuit but that depends on whether or not my engine was damaged. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. read more

I took my car here twice, there will not be a third or any other times. I strongly urge anyone considering getting their oil changed to take there care - anywhere but here! At the time I received the service I was satisfied, I mean, you don't really think about it you pull in you expect them to do what they are telling you they are doing, you pay and leave. I got to looking at my receipt as I was logging in to do a review for a discount on my next oil change with them. One thing jumped out at me...their claim that they reset the oil change light. A blatant LIE, I read my manual as I was waiting in line at the car wash and reset it myself. Tonight I discover another lie...where they claim they filled the windshield fluid - one attempt to clean my windows tonight proved another LIE. I'm left wondering what else they lied about. Do not get an oil change here! The technicians stripped my oil drain bolt and never said anything. I went to get an oil change from another mechanic shop and he showed me all the oil that was leaking due to the wrong size bolt being forced into the oil pan. Also these technicians at valvoline showed me a brand new air filter and told me mine did not need to be changed yet when I brought it to this other mechanic my air filter was completely destroyed and dirty. I drive a BMW and this is just unacceptable especially when the oil change cost a little over a hundred dollars. I called the manager and his only response was "our policy is to let customers know when a bolt is stipped". That makes perfect sense if I brought my vehicle in with a stripped bolt but obviously he wasn't listening nor did he care that I told him his employees stripped it. Younger heavy set Spanish gentlemen and an older white gentleman are the technicians who serviced my vehicle. I will NEVER bring my vehicle to any valvoline shop again. Technicians who damage customers property without saying anything cannot be trusted. This is extremely unprofessional and these careless technicians need to coached. read more
