They have turned us away 3 times for an inspection because either the guy left early, they get slower in the evening so the guy leaves whenever he wants but his time is 5pm! I took my car to Valvoline in Pflugerville for an oil change. I also asked if they could check my tires as I believe I am overdue for a rotation. The man that looked at my tires briefly checked my driver side tires but I feel like he brushed me off, as if to get me in and out of there as soon as possible. The other gentleman that was in charge of my oil change was much more helpful. I waited in line for about 5 minutes and my oil changed took about 15 minutes. They checked my tire pressure too. You don't even need to get out of your car. I'll be coming back in about 5k miles! read more

Went for an oil change. I alway check the work before I leave. Found this gem. Four missing clips that hold the cover on. I asked the tech about the missing clips and he ran to dig one out of the trash, one was found on the floor, and two on there tool bench. A manager came out to see what was going on. This was THE BEST oil change experience I've ever had. Just drive up and wait in your car while the do it. You literally never get out of the car. I interacted with Raymond, Ryan, Jeremiah, and Nate. They were all incredibly charismatic, explained everything they were doing, and showed me the results. Their prices are fair - I was going to buy new wiper blades anyway, but they had the frameless ones I wanted and no install fee, so I was willing to pay the $3-5 premium over Walmart prices. I normally don't make a complaint like this, but this really upset me. I would not recommend anyone taking there vehicle to Valvoline in Pflugerville Texas at Limestone Commercial Drive. I took my vehicle to get my oil changed on 11/21/2021 and they screwed the oil plug on too tight and will not make it right. My son was going to change my oil, but he said the plug is stripped. I took it back to Valvoline to get them to take it off a kid comes out and said let's take a look he comes back and says yeah it's stripped after he tried taking it off with a machine. He said I needed to take it to a mechanic to have it taken off. Really??? Your people messed it up. All you have to do is make it right. I left and told my brother and he said let's go back and talk to a manager. We went back and asked to speak to a manager. A guy came out and said he was the manager. He argued with us saying it was our fault it stripped (the guy lied trying to blame it on my son who would not touch it) my brother asked for the district manager's number he stated he was not allowed to give it out we asked for the cooperate number and he said look it up. This is how you run your business!!! I am so disappointed. To make matters worse I even called Corporate to make a formal complaint. Imara with customer service took my complaint on 4/16/22 and said I would hear from the area manager who is Ben or the market manager who is Ray. I didn't hear back from anyone so I called back on 4/22/22 and spoke to Suzanne who stated they closed out my case. All I wanted them to do was make it right so I can get my oil changed. I will not be going back to Valvoline!!!!! That is not how customers should be treated. Here's Valvolines response.......... Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Frances. Our records indicate that our Area Manager reviewed your visit and found that you came in and informed the store that your son stripped the drain plug and needed assistance. Our Area Manager is the highest contact and final decision in our claims process. Unfortunately, based on this investigation our Area Manager has denied the claim. I visited this establishment to get an inspection. I was asked to wait in the office while the the inspection was being completed. Although the inspection failed due to the check engine light I gave him a $5 tip. However, when I arrived home I realized the container in which I keep individual sanitizers, gloves and other items were cleaned out. Thankfully he left my umbrella. I came to this location trying to get my vehicle inspected and both times the attendant told me the computer that does the inspections didn't work? The first time I came all the employees were standing around their cars like it was a car show and not a actual business, this young guy approached my truck and asked me if I needed a oil change, I said I needed a inspection to get my tags, he immediately told me the machine didn't work. went to get my oil changed and blinker light changed and they overcharged me for a lightbulb that was NOT the blinker bulb. they ended up fixing my blinker but still charged me for the other bulb that I did NOT need after they realized it was not the right bulb on their part AND they kept the bulb. Anyways one of the workers apologized and wrote me up a coupon for $20 off of my next oil change and told me it would be valid at this location. So of course I drive 30 minutes to this location for my most recent oil change and let them know what had happened last time and I gave them my signed coupon. They proceeded to tell me that that worker who signed it does not work there and apparently never had the authority to do that but they would still honor it anyways, this I was grateful for. However once I received my invoice I noticed that they did not honor it and in fact charged me the full amount. I am disappointed in the lack of professionalism and communication at this location and I will not be coming back because I do not enjoy losing my hard earned money. read more
