It took so much torque to remove them, it split the lug nut key. Not to be stopped, they contacted Auto Zone, who delivered a new one. He seemed really put off that I had my license plate number at the ready and took his time putting in my information, acting like I was the one rushing him. I did not feel comfortable leaving my car in their care and after looking at the reviews, I'm glad. Being in the automotive business myself, creating a trusting relationship with the customer is key. I walked in considering asking if they were hiring. I wouldn't touch this place with a ten foot pole.

I doubted that, because you have to remove the rear skid plate on my Hummer to access the oil filter & drain plug. There was no removal of the skid plate, so I inquired how did they drain the oil. The "manager" named "Darrell" gave me some nonsensical story about how they could still do the oil change without removing the skid plate. Prior visits to this location ALWAYS had techs remove the skid plate and everyone announced loudly what they did. Today, this crew did not do any of that. Also, one of the techs seemed to be just topping off the old oil, instead of putting in over 5 quarts of clean oil. I asked for a refund and I told "Darrell" that I was never going to return to this location. Pity... they used to have good people there, instead of folks taking shortcuts and ripping off customers!

(The tire itself was $114 and some change.) Both techs were super sweet and accommodating, and were happy to answer any/all questions I had. They had it done very quickly, even though I didn't have an appointment and their other bays looked full. I'm very happy with the quality of service I received today, and very impressed with the speed of the service despite being short handed on a Sunday. Their parking lot is small, but the lobby is well kept and spacious.
