Made an appointment to get tires. Showed up and they don't have the tires, said they could get them by Wednesday. I asked why would you not have the tires knowing I would be here today to have installed. I was told 30 to 40 percent of the time the tires are wrong size or the just don't ship them. Came here on a Saturday morning after 10 am for an oil change. I was welcomed in and immediately able to chat with someone. I was quoted about 1.5-2 hours and they finished within that quoted time. I hit a pothole and bent the rim of my front tire, and a chunk was missing from my hubcap. I always take my Honda to the dealer, but they couldn't get me in for a week, and I didn't want to drive on it that long. I called and got an appointment for the next day at Firestone in Speedway. It was a Thursday and not crowded when I arrived for my appointment. They told me how long it would be, I went next door to eat lunch, and when I came back the tire was fixed, the hubcap was bent back in (it had ripped outward), and I was told I had a slow leak which was fixed. On time, and it only cost slightly more than my lunch! I will definitely go here again. They were courteous, explained everything, and I was on my way. A big plus!! read more

Had an appointment at 11am, didn't get my car taken in till 1pm. 2 hours waiting because they took a car who had a LATER appointment in before me. Waited 2 hours and then another whole hour so 3 hours total just to tell me they couldn't perform the service requested, made me lose work time because I chose to schedule somewhere "reliable" and leave work only to get my time completely wasted. read more

Had an appointment today (Saturday @ 11:30 am) that was scheduled earlier in the week (Tuesday) to have an inspection done on my car. Upon checking in, I was asked will I be waiting or dropping the car off. I let them know I'd be waiting there. After sitting for two hours, I asked for a status update and how much longer the wait would be. I was then informed that my car would not be able to be inspected today due to how many cars was in front of mines and how their day was going. So had I not asked, I wonder how long they would have let me sit and wait. Till closing time??? Even if I had chosen to drop my car off, I still would have had to come pick it up with no inspection done. Unacceptable! The lady offered me a free oil change for the inconvenience but how do I know my car will be serviced even then?? Honestly I would rather pay money where I always go for an oil change and I know I'll get in and out. So I really needed an oil change. Like bad!! and Chad was nice enough to accommodate me and get me scheduled for an appointment. He had great customer service and answered all my questions in a calm manner. However, I think his name is Mike... older, Caucasian man.. was the complete opposite. He was very high strong and uptight. It almost seemed like my questions or concerns irritated him. When I asked for my keys, he dropped them In my hand..literally.. I'm sure he is a great guy, but that day he was not demonstrating great customer service Luckily, Chad called me back and apologized for His actions and asked if I could come back to the Firestone the next time I needed a service. I started coming to Firestone about a year ago when I bought my new car. Goodyear was constantly keeping my car overnight or longer and always needing to order parts that wouldn't arrive till the next or 2 days later. Firestone has always been able to work with me to get my car in on my schedule. So far all my visits have been maintenance related but I would trust them to tackle the more intense issues. There are 6 double-sided bays and cars are consistently moving in and out. The guys are terrific explaining what work my car needs and when I should start considering. Everyone here is super friendly. Call ahead to schedule your appointment and they'll be ready for you when you arrive. If there is a service they can't provide they'll let you know up front. read more

Ice storm started and I am that driver .. van started to slide more than normal.. drove straight to this place and they was able to work me in with some new tires and added an oil change .. Over 600 in total repairs and I still need to take my car to get...repaired. First visit, new starter, viola problem solved $550. Except it wasn't. Two start attempts later, same problem, no start. Back to shop. Another $100+ to adjust something. Hundred feet from the parking lot, check engine light came on. Have the car, new since 2015. Engine light has never came on. Called and was told they don't work on engines. a few phone calls and gripes a FS garage north of downtown agreed to see the car. Free.Their take? The part that was "adjusted", for $100+ now needed to be replaced. If it needs replacement now, why did they just charge me $100+ to adjust the part? Was told I drove the car at my risk. BBB called. PissedConsumer's site contacted. Initiating complaint at the office in the state's consumer fraud office. And? FS has done squat. OH. The car listed on the reciept? Not my car. Different make/model/year/vin #.. I'll keep the reviews going, because each day FS ignores me is a new complaint. read more

We had a long week of struggles by our side and firestone / logan got us through it very cheaply and stress free! The tire repair patch plug cost more than 30 dollars. You should go to Costco. I had repaired many times at good year or Costco. The price is around 10 bucks. If you need to repair the tire,please consider the other place. The most important thing is you need to wait more than three hours for this tire thing. Things continue. The tire still leaking. I went to the store and scheduled next server. You still need to pay the fee. Yes, it is very ridiculous. Next time you repair your engine, but they don't repair it at all. This Firestone location is my first choice go-to for my extremely dependable 2008 Honda Fit, and not just because it's close to home. Whether it's for tires, oil changes, or repairs, they are always less expensive than the dealerships I've had contacts with and their customer service is top-notch. The only "complaint" I have is that they are too good--they're always busy and sometimes it's hard to get in right away, but they have always been totally truthful with me on service availability, wait times, and price estimates. I recently had to have the alternator replaced, and they called me each time when they had a question or needed more time due to parts delivery. They even gave me a discount because of the delivery delay, which I didn't request, and I really appreciated that. I will continue to return to this location as long as Chad is a manager there, he runs a great shop and the staff there is consistently courteous and helpful. read more

On Wednesday night, 4/22/15, I had work done on my car at your Crawfordsville Road location. I had scheduled 4 new tires and an oil change. I arrived at 3:55pm that afternoon, but this fiasco started Tuesday night. On Tuesday, I called and made a 4:00pm appointment for Wednesday afternoon. When I called I spoke to Jeanie who is also worked Wednesday night. Jeanie asked during the initial call if she could call me back as "they were busy." I said, "no problem." 30 minutes later Jeanie had not called me back so I called again. I made the appointment for 4:00pm and arrived at 3:55pm on, 4/22/15. My car sat outside for ~25 minutes before getting into a bay. It was hoisted and all four tires removed. I took a personal call on my mobile, but kept an eye on the car. The tires remained off until ~6:30pm. Jeanie was out in the shop from ~6:00pm until she walked into the desk area at ~6:40pm to tell me that they were about finished up, but still needed to change my oil. My car was up in the air with no work being done from at least 4:30 to approximately ~6:30pm. I watched. None of the technicians were near it. Jeanie came in 5 minutes later (~6:45pm) to ask if I wanted to have the alignment done now or reschedule. Who gets four new tires and doesn't want them aligned? I opted to stay since I did not have another three hours to leave work and come into the shop. I was getting this work done so my wife could drive the car to Chicago the next night. This is unacceptable. Firestone shops have a picture of Mr. Firestone above the door that says, "I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business." I have been a loyal customer with a Firestone Card since 2008. I had a wheel off incident two years ago on my wife's truck from work being done at the Carmel, IN Firestone location. I make appointments and still wait 3.5 hours for work that should take more than 90 minutes. They completed my oil change in about 20-30 minutes once they started working on it. My estimate is $645.52 including 80.84 in labor. 1. Firestone need to make this right. 2. This needs to quit happening. If I can't trust the shop for either my family's safety or honesty then I can't come back and give you anymore business. I left the Crawfordsville Road location at 7:27pm. I posted a comment on Firestone's Facebook account and received a fairly quick response from their social media monitoring. I sent an email to them and was told Wednesday evening that the incident had been escalated and that I would be contacted by the district manager within 24-48 hours. As of of the evening of 4/24/15 (50+ hours later) I have not received a communication from them. Final Update: I realized I never gave a final update on this situation. The issues described above finally went to the manager and district manager for that store. I received a call from the manager profusely apologizing and promising to make it better. He wouldn't let me off the phone without sending me some coupons for a couple free oil changes. So, he followed customer service 101, apologized and performed service recovery. Here's the kicker...the coupons never arrived in the mail. I've not been back to the location in Speedway and will not return. So let's recap all my experiences with Firestone Complete Auto Care. 1. They failed to properly mount a tire on my wife's Jeep and it fell off while she was driving our daughter to school. (Carmel Location) 2. The debacle I described above happened. (Speedway Location) I no longer go to these two locations, but I do go to the Brownsburg location since it's not too far from work. The Brownsburg location has a good crew. I hope they keep up the good work so I don't have to switch to Good Year Tire Service. I upped the star rating from one star to two stars since Brownsburg has proven itself more than once and the crew there is personable and friendly. read more

Not really fun to have to get a tire on your weekend, but sadly my dealer (where I had just bought my car, sigh) didn't have the correct tires in stock and my tire had a lovely screw in it, so we headed over to Firestone on a Saturday. We had a feeling it would be busy due to terrible weather here in Indy and potholes galore. And it was, but the staff was very friendly and upfront about the wait time. We had looked up that the tire was on sale that weekend we needed so we were comfortable waiting and had brought books with us just in case. The waiting area is fairly small, there weren't many chairs open when we first wandered over but thankfully some opened up for us fairly quickly. Even smaller was the TV, I would definitely recommend they look into upgrading that in the future. Time passed quickly thanks to TV, book and friendly conversation with fellow patrons. Wait was as expected and the staff was so friendly and helpful when we were checking out even though it had been a long, busy day for them. Offered to put road hazard protection on all 4 tires even though only one was purchased there, this will save me $ if I end up with any more screws or future flats. Pot holes don't scare me now! I had a slow leak in the right passenger side tire of my Prius, losing 6-8 lbs every 3 days. Other tire dealers in the area required appointments scheduled 6 days out, but Firestone Speedway was able to see me right away. Afte a short wait, they removed the tire from the rim and tested the tire thoroughly. The manager Logan told me they could not find a nail or any other damage that might cause it. However, in the process of reinstalling the tire, they removed some corrosion from the rim and, of course, re-beaded the tire all around. Logan suggested that some curb impact, pothole, etc. may have damaged the beading, resulting in the slow leak, and the reinstallation may fix the problem. While a fair amount of labor was required to remove, test, clean the rim, and reinstall the tire, the manager said he didn't feel right charging for not actually fixing anything, so there was NO CHARGE. This is old school quality customer service that will encourage me to do business with them in the future. Great experience. read more

I spent over 2 hours sitting in the Firestone lobby reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows while Judge Judy yelled at some poor soul about paying 3 months past due rent. It was a treat. I needed to buy a new tire, have it put on, oil changed and alignment check/adjusted. I gave them 20 minutes notice that I would be there. I'm kind of a jerk sometimes. They, on the other hand, were not jerks. They were very friendly, making this car dunce feel comfortable asking questions about pricing and procedures. They even gave me a discount on my oil change, without a coupon. Cha-freaking-ching! The only ding I'd give them is that their advertised free wifi doesn't really work. It's like telling a group of people you have free cookies and then bringing in a single thin mint. True, your cookie was free, but it was like there was no cookie all. The wifi signal was so low that my computer couldn't load a single webpage. My phone couldn't instagram. Good thing Harry Potter was my spotter, saving me from both Voldemort and Judith Sheindlin. Back to the goods: the work they did was great. The place was clean and smelled like fresh tires. Most of all, the customer service I got was top notch. I had a great experience here all around. I had a tire that needed to be either repaired or replaced. I only realized this after this location's business hours. I made an initial appointment online, though this couldn't be confirmed until the next day. I left my car and used the 24-hour drop box to leave my key and info. I stopped in on my way to work the next morning shortly after they opened, and the person I spoke with was well-informed about my car already and explained their process clearly. While at work, I received two phone calls, the first explaining why they needed to replace rather than repair and providing a reasonable cost and time estimate, and the second letting me know my car was ready for pickup. When I arrived to pick up my car, clearly in professional clothes, the person checking me out asked where I worked. When I said I worked downtown, she let me know the downtown Firestone location has a free shuttle that will take you to and from work. Great to know! All in all, a great experience here! Any car issue is never fun, but the process was as convenient as it could be, multiple employees communicated very clearly, and the repair was completed in a timely way and for a reasonable price. Like saying car needed major work for oil leaks and quoting over $3,000.00 for that work when the car had only minor leaks that could be helped with stop leak.
