I been to this station several times and recommended them to friends. No longer! I recommended them to my wife and she has a 2019 Honda hrv 4 cylinder engine these people took advantage of her and charged her over $100 for an oil change. Said that they had to charge her a minimum charge for oil change. BS! My 2018 Toyota Tacoma 6 cylinder uses more oil than my wife and I paid $100. They took advantage of a woman and I will never recommend them again and if asked I will tell the people never go there. How dare you take advantage of my wife and a woma! Minimum charge of $100. Great experience... Tried my normal inspection shop but they didn't have anyone available, so I tried Valvoline and will be back. Was told I had both license plate lights out and when I agreed to pay to replace, the tech returned and said it was loose/disconnected and it ended up being good. He could have easily lied and I would have never known the difference. Great service and will return! (Waiting room is somewhat small and no-frills so keep in mind if you have kids) read more

Returning Customer but not anymore I went for oil change at the location 5307 Louetta Rd Spring, TX 77379 United States they told me they don't have the filters and oil for my 2017 BMW X3 4 cylinder So then he said let me check if other locations have it so he send me to the other one 7 miles away he said he called and check they have it , I drove there hoping to change the oil the guy walk to me he said he's gonna check if they have the stuff for my car then I told him wait they already called here and told me you guys have it, he said no one called here sir and we don't have the filters or the oil for your car I was like what??? I called customer service and they said go back to the same place because it shows they have 5 filters and the oil for your car and we gonna give $25 off for your oil change also Manager Michael is waiting for you, I drove all the way back and the guy who played me was there laughing the Manager came out and I told him why the guy is doing this what did I do to him he said sorry not sure why and nothing I can do at this point, Then he said they never send $25 off discount for your oil change so I told him I don't need no discount and no free oil change but this is not how you run business and left after 2 hrs driving back and forth for oil change left without changing my oil, I will never go to Valvoline anymore and I hope someone from headquarters sees this msg and get to the bottom with this location as they really treated me bad for no reason and wasting 2hrs of my time 5307 Louetta Rd Spring, TX 77379 United States read more

Took my car in to the get inspected at the location 5307 Louetta Rd, Spring, TX 77379. My car was running fine with no check engine light and they told me it failed inspection because the computer would not link to the car. They said my car needs a new PCM and then charged me for the inspection. I took the car to a local Jiffy lube within an hour or so and it passed. I spoke to Caeser (manager), made excuses, and told me I didn't need to come back to complain. Lost a long term customer!!!! read more

Huge difference from my last visit, I Amos's didn't come back but I noticed a trend throughout my years coming here that the turn over is pretty high and/or employees are switching shifts, stores etc. either way I am very please with the service. Gerek and Armando provided exceptional service today! I have a Volkswagen Tiguan, which requires specific oil. They had the oil in stock and were knowledgeable on how to service my car. They even checked my cabin air filter as a complimentary part of the service! They explained what they were doing throughout the entire service which I really appreciated. Being a young woman, most car service shops make me feel like i'm being scammed, but I never felt that way at Valvoline! Service is great, nothing wrong with it, just a heads up to customers that it's on average $30 more expensive then auto shops nearby (like American pride). I was told it was more costly because of the "instant" aspect (although I waited as long for the guys to finish here as I have at American Pride). I went in for an oil change- no complaints there. Without asking me, they used a power tool to loosen the screws for the lid of my air filter and completely stripped a screw. They offered to replace my air filter for $24 which I declined since I can buy one for $12. When putting the lid back on they overly tightened the screws making the lid impossible for me to remove with a simple screwdriver. read more

Didn't think I could ever enjoy an oil change, but today I was thrilled. This was more like a NASCAR pit stop than an oil change. The shop was spotless and guys took pride in their personal appearance. Treshawn and his crew were courteous, thorough, and didn't push unnecessary services on me. I never had to leave my car. I've been needing my oil change and looked up the best reviews in Williamsburg and Newport News area, this one came up and they did an awesome job I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. They explained to me everything that was going on and any future needs my car needed. I will definitely be coming back to here.
