This is one of the worse run Valvoline experiences I have ever had. After the oil change I heard the team below the car laughing about not finding some bolt. When I ask if they were speaking about my car I was told no no . (I am the only vehicle in the place at this time!) The next day I find the plate that is bolted on to protect the drain plug hanging down and held on by a zip tie. Went back to address this issue and told " get the fuck out of here " by the manager 600 Metacom ave Warren RI I save yourself the trouble !! Can't even perform a simple oil change. And the time before that the left an oil rag in my engine compartment. No pride! No people skills! No integrity. Call the company and filed a complaint. I've been going there for years, they had a coupon online I've been using every month for at least 5 years. The last time I went they said the coupon was not going through. I told them I've been coming here for 5 years and the majority of them knew me, but they would not bend. They wanted more than double of what I usually take. While this place is very convenient for me I have to stop using them. They did not replace the skid plate correctly on my car after an oil change, it sagged and eventually curled up under the car and broke on the highway. When I brought it back to them they suggested that I bottomed out the car and it may have been my fault, then attempted to fix it with zip ties. That didn't work long term so I had to get it replaced at a shop for hundreds of dollars. When I reached out to their customer service they were unwilling to help me or reimburse any of that cost. The customer service person was just not helpful. I tried multiple paths to get help, all with a smile on my face, but got no help, so I just can't give them my business anymore or recommend them. read more

This place is very convenient for me and my elderly dad we live right in town but after our experience the last time we went we will not be going back there again we waited wayy longer than expected especially when we were the only cars in there at the time and we didnt get approached or talked to for a long time and then the person who came up to us he had a long orange beard his name was nate but he seemed very out of it barely speaking (even tho we told him that my dad was old and u just needed to speak a little louder) and he was moving very slow seemed like he was on something and i do not want anyone like that to be working on my car or talking to us about cars when he was completely intoxicated on something not a good look at all. read more

They claimed the oil cap was overtightened last time. They've been "working " on it for about a half hour. I can only imagine what this will cost me. Usually a great place and it's quick and easy! However, I bring my own oil and when they put the remaining oil left over in my backseat, they never screwed the cap on so it leaked all over my car! Now I have to pay $200 to get my car detailed! read more

The wait was long, they didn't have but 2 guys for a place that can service 3-4 cars and the guy who cashed me out was rude after I declined all his up-sell offers, with the added bonus that he claimed my car would blow up if I went too low on oil, (it was only 200 miles over due). I called this shop before I brought my car in. I was told a 15 mins wait for oil change and 15 mins for tire rotation. I drove in w/ 1 other car in for service. The service was incompetent. To start....the tech left the air pressure in the tires at 30, 31, 30 and 33 psi. They also had trouble finding a rachett to fit my lug nuts. When I went to leave my maintenance reminder was still on and my wheel lock was missing. They discovered it still on the lug nut on my tire. An oil change, tire rotation, and new wiper blades cost me $170. What a rip off!! Worst and most expensive oil change I have experienced. Would have been cheaper if I brought my car to the Acura dealer!! BTW. Took over an hour.....of course. read more

I brought my 2007 KIA Sportage to this particular because I had a groupon for an oil change. The assistant manager worked on my vehicle. He checked everything and gave his honest opinion as to what I desperately needed and what I could go without for a while longer. Then, he noticed my breaklights were out. This man went above and beyond to help me with this beat up vehicle. I was so impressed. On top of that, he gave me a coupon to for the next time I come in to have a coolant exchange. All this hard work while helping his co-workers on other cars! So worth the drive and I'll be sure to go back again! I didn't catch his name, but what a nice guy. Thanks for everything! read more

I had a coupon for regular oil change and tire rotation. Brought it there, was 2nd one there. Tried to sell me everything under the sun. Said my transmission fluid was almost empty. Checked when i got home, was full.?ran me through a computer slide show of everything i should get. Waited 1 1/2 hours. Came back and told me he couldn't rotate the tires because he couldn't lift my car with his airbag lift? Couldn't they have told me that before making me wait? Also put 35 lbs. of air in tires. They take 26. The proper pressure was listed on the sheet they gave me. Obviously they didn't read it. Never again. Not recommended read more

Rob is super polite, they checked all the fluids, air filter ect.... and when we opted for a pricey full flush(almost 10k miles since our last change :O) they offered a (albeit small) discount. They were so friendly and considerate we were out of there in less than 30 minutes and the engine sounds so much better! read more
